I just picked this up as it was cheap, i wasn't expecting much, but this is superb, im utterly addicted to this game i think it's what GTA4 should have been. Are the previous two as good as this?
Borrowed this off a friend recently and was blown away, thought it would be way too over the top for my liking but i actually enjoyed the story. I usually find a lot of the side stuff you can do in sandbox games tedious but really enjoyed all the extra activities. Only thing that's keeping SR4 from being a first day purchase for me is the dlc on the disc bullshit.... not cool THQ.

GTA San Andreas gave me virtual dildos, GTA4 took them away, and Saints 3 has given them back. Thank you, Saints 3.
1 Like it's a fun game but somewhat lacking in side missions, they're repetitive and once you've done them there's not much else
Slightly disappointing , whilst playing it all i could think about was how much it was it was basically a carbon copy of saints row 2. Sure the story is different and the game looks more polished but the simple fact is that the game should of been 10x better than Saints row 2 rather than just 0.5x better. Id would rate it about a 6.5/10 just on the bases that if you have completed saints row 2 then playing this after wards will just feel like your playing the same game all over again.
Just picked it up from Steam aswell. ?10,- and the moneymaker and special ops vehicle pack for ?4,- total. TBH I already had more fun in the game than I expected, totally worth the purchase!
1 Like Erh, I don't like the over-the-top and unrealistic gameplay, I'd take sr2 over the third.
Just started playing this a couple days ago and it's amazing fun. The missions are a blast and Tank Mayhem is the most enjoyable fun I've had in a game in quite awhile. GTA4 doesn't hold a candle to this game as far as the fun factor goes IMO.

yeah but like the last one why didn't Thq make it look better visually ?? its expected now as developers have gotten to grips with hardware, no excuses !!! Having said this it does look good fun.
cus i played gta4 onlie with my friends for hours, and this looks a bit more crazy, so is it worth buying for that?

There goes Caro Petit again with another amazing review! This game is kinda like GTA3 thrown in a bunch with utter insanity. damn good fun!
If you by this game retail and turn to the back of the box the first thing you see in big grey letters is the phrase 'Strap it on" all euphemism's aside, thats exactly what I did and im loving it...........
glad this is another Caro review! I can't decide if this is the next game I should play or not...
I can describe this game with one word: FUN, Im playing co-op with my homie IoI and I cant stop laughing
