If you like GTA4 you should like this.
Story
Well you break out of prison and have to do certain missions and take down rival gangs as well.
Gameplay
In the Normal story Mode you have to do missions to move on but you can't do one Mission after another you have to earn Respect by doing side missions to progress in the story. It sometimes can get in the way though but at least its a change.
You have to do all sorts of things such as take down Rival Gangs to destroying buildings and for side mssions you can spray paint areas and take some good looking cars to a salesman. Along the way you will see marks where you can spray paint your gangs logo on it.
Like GTA you get weapons to use like Machine Guns,Handguns and Grenades as well. You have to buy ammo for your guns and grenades. You also can make your character look how you want and dress how you want. Also in the game you can modify your car and you also can fly a helicopter in parts of the game.
You gain health by eating food. There is also a co - op online but it isn't really nothing major really. The game is quiet simple at first but later missions will test you but I don't like having to do side missions which break up the games story.
Presentation
The world looks quiet good but nothing on Liberty City or San Andreas. It does a good though but far from the best. The atmosphere is a bit lacking with the characters.
Lastability
It's actually a big game of which could take between 20 to 40 hours of gameplay. The question is will you want to.
Overall Opinion
Saints Row 2 isn't a bad game its okay but it seems to be lacking something that would make it a top game. I mean the game at times can feel a bit dull and some missions are quiet boring and some intresting but it lacks what GTA has. I guess it depends if you like these types of games. It's an okay game just not a standout game really. A more of a try before you buy sort of game.
