Better than GTA4?
Well i just bought this because it was cheap, and i was looking for a new decent free roam game. Although, i actually really liked it maybe even more than GTA4 because there is stuff to do and places to go other than just getting drunk and going to strip clubs! You can buy realest ate, get vehicles visit weapon shops, get plastic surgery, buy a cigarette and a drink and many more, although my personal favorite is mugging and robbing stores! Evan the story mode is entertaining. There is just more interactions with the people and environments hear than GTA4.
But its still missing GTA4's grate satire, and the little things that have made GTA what it is today. But the reason Gamespot gave it an 8.0 is probably from the fact that Saints Row really doesn't care who it offends, and focuses too much on the cool gang kinda thing. Overall this is a fun game and gives you everything you need after the second level.
