Ok, I bought this game when it first came out. Seeing as I am a huge fan of two subjects (Ancient Asian culture and Greek mythology), I had to check it out.

I remembered playing the original on the NES back in the day, and it was ok, so I figured what the hell, right? This game is a solid experience. The controls are responsive and easy to use, the graphics are simply magnificent, and the story's not horrible.

My thing is that now, this is kind of like eating a hamburger when I have filet mignon (read: God of War) in the fridge. Rygar is still a good game in it's own right, but if you have to choose one, go with God of War.

    Straight forward fun that doesn't go on for longer than it needs to.
