Russian attack? !

User Rating: 7.8 | Rush'n Attack NES
Rush'n Attack was a two players action game developed by Konami.
As far as I can remember, the story is about two american soldiers sent on a secret mission in Russia. The basic weapon is your knife, which comes very handy along the game. Your secondary weapons are the rocket launcher, and the star of invulnerability ( this is not really a weapon, but like in Super Mario it makes you untouchable for a short length of time).

The game is better when it's played with two players, though it is stiil doable with just one player, but the feeling is that the game was made for co-op, especially at the end of every level when enemies are coming at you , one player can take of the front while the other take of the back.

You have a diversity of enemies, dogs, mines and karate masters as well would you mind.

The gameplay, as I stated before is better with two players, it's just plain fun.

The graphics are fine, even now it's still something nice to look at, Konami did a pretty good job.

Rush'n Attack doesn't have a lot of replay value if you have to play it alone.

If you haven't played it yet, you're probably out of luck or simply 18 years late.
