"Different but interesting at the same time"
I purchased "Rumble Roses" on a whim, due to the fact that I previously purchased
"Metal Gear:Subsistance", and wanted to see what all the fuss was about, I was
pleasently very surprised at the quality of not only the graphics (no, I did not get it
just for the eye candy here..;) ) but also the gameplay itself was very good for a
game of this genre, I'm usually more into the action,stealth strategy type of games,
I.E. MGS, Splinter Cell, or flight sims, so, this was very much off the beaten track for me
but I thought.."what the heck", I popped the disk in and lo and beholdI was using Reiko as
my initial wrestler, and the matches were intense and I was actually "Having Fun"..:D,
what can be sorely missing , in some of today's games, as a person who is not a
"wrestling fan", female or otherwise, I think that my review can be a good balance to others
and give some impartiality to the site, here's my thoughts....
Gameplay......9
yes, I'm giving it a 9..why..., some of you may ask..?someone would just have to play
the game and see for themselves..:)
Graphics......10..what can I say, but "Excellent"...:D
Sound......8......Great Music, the voice acting could be better..but look at Resident Evil
when it came out...;)
Value......8.....to those "naysayers", I say nay,obviously, they either did'nt really "play"
the game long enough to really "see" what it was about , or just did'nt care.
Tilt......10...the entire package as a whole is great and since I paid only $14.95,
I feel that I got my monies worth.....is it worth , the "original price point of $39.95"..?
Probably not...but but, if I had paid $29.95, I still feel that I would'nt have been cheated.
Remember, if you get this game, try to think "outside the box" and "don't the
game on the cover of the box", there is a good game inside of it..;)
