So to close in on 20k I plan on playing some more Lego Indiana Jones. I sucked out as many achievements in Guitar Hero as I could. Also, I bet you all are wondering what I got with my points after I bought Battlefield 1943 so here's the list of songs that I got. Yep, I bought Rock Band songs because I didn't feel like adding to the pile of games I need to play. So here's the songs I picked up (all of them are fun):

So that was my week for gaming. I need to return Smash Hits soon so I've been playing that like crazy to get as many achievements as possible. I'm about to beat the drums on medium. Yeah, medium I'm not good at drums. I want to get all the career achievements. After I beat drums, I'm gonna move on to vocalists which I can't wait for because of Through Fire and Flames which is the last song of every career and is required to beat the game. Yeah, it sounds like you'd never get the guitar career done because of it but it's a bit easier now so don't worry. However, my friend who beat it on Expert on GH3 can't beat it on here because he's so used to the other one and told me every single thing they changed so it's different. Anyways, after vocals I'm gonna do bass to complete all four instruments. If I have time, I'll then go through getting some easy achieves that are just complete tutorial or download something. Wish me luck! After this I'm gonna go back to Lego Indiana Jones/Kung Fu Panda to get the rest of those achievements. Now look for my next blog because not only will it have tech stuff but it has some cool things that are going to be happening in the coming months for me so it's a must read because I'm pysched about all of it.

So obviously the game that I was talking about is Kung Fu Panda. The reason I am playing this game is my friend traded in his Pro system that was starting to die on him for an elite and it comes with a Kung Fu Panda/Lego Indiana Jones bundle. He's letting me borrow those games for my copy of Crackdown and it's just been a lot of fun. I haven't seen Kung Fu Panda but the game is fun and, according to my brother, does follow the movie. It was surprisingly a good game. I've beat it and I'm now going back to get the rest of the achievements. I really want to play Lego Indiana Jones because I love the Lego games. I'm gonna pop that in once I get the rest of the achievements in this.

So you may have noticed a cerain busting of ghosts game up above. Well the reason why I suddenly have this on my gamertag is because a new game place opened up in my town where you "pay-to-play" on the next gen systems on these nice 23" HD monitors with Turtle Beach headsets in 1080p. I used my hard drive when me and my friend went there to check it out and I decided to try Ghostbusters because the guy there told me he got it in a couple days ago and beat it and had a great time. I popped it in and did really like it. We paid $15 for a day pass and we were there for about 5 or 6 hours. The normal rate is $5/hour with every third hour free but the day pass is a better deal if you are there for at least 4 hours. It may sound like a stupid idea but it's a really cool place. They will have tournaments too and once I get a job I plan on going there with my friends once a week to just hang out.

Speaking of a job, I didn't get the one at McDonalds. They said that I got a 7 and I needed an 8 to pass on to orientation. There's no way I didn't pass but oh well, back to square one. I'm now applying at other places in town. The oil change place is hiring so I may work there or I have a list of places that I'm gonna check out tomorrow. The problem is I only have $2 on me and my debit card which has $1,175 on it but I can't touch that till the Fall when I start college. Also, my open house is Saturday and that's when I should get my HDTV!!! I also will get a lot more money for my debit card. Also, DS or PSP? I used to own a PSP but the games just weren't there. However, I feel with the PSP Go coming out they are going to open the gates for some better games! Anyways I plan on buying a DSi or a PSP (maybe a Go?) this Fall for when I'm at college. I have c.lasses on Tuesday that require me to stay there all day and there will be a few hours of nothing so I need something to do. So please answer (with reasons!) for the PSP or DSi dilema! Thank you.

So those are the achievements. In Mass Effect I'm just starting the Bring Down The Sky missions and I hope to have that achievement either today or tomorrow. Also, I've been doing all the side quests and talking to Ashley a lot to get the love scene. (maybe there's more than just an achievement waiting for me there )

Now for the job update. As some of you may know I had a second interview at McDonald's last Wednesday. Well, they had me take a small test but nothing challenging unless you're not a people-person. They said they would go over the test and give me a call for the orientation if I passed. I still haven't gotten a call and I know for a fact I passed because you only had to get 8 out of 45 right and they were really easy since I already had worked at a McDonald's. I'm going to call them tomorrow if I still don't hear anything. I think the reason is they have a last round of interviews this Wednesday and maybe they want to set a date for the orientation for everyone they plan on hiring and they'll call me then. Still, though, I want to find out if I got the job! One last thing, I got a bank account set up and my debit card will be sent out this week. I deposited my graduation money in there and so far it's at $1,175! The funny thing is that's only from my graduation and my party (where I'll get more money and my HDTV) is on the 27th! So I'll have more than enough money for college this Fall since all my tuition costs are paid for.

Well there's the achievements for this week! I'm working on Mass Effect again on Hardcore and doing all of the side quests and trying to get as many achievements as I can get that I missed out on last time. Now intomy "bonuses":

NEW GAME:
The new game is Saints Row. I never got into when I rented it last time because it was the week before GTA came out and I had it pre-ordered. I was ready to play GTA that I never got into Saints Row but what I did play was really fun.

1 VS. 100 IMPRESSIONS:
Well, I have played it a couple times now and I gotta say this is a lot of fun! The live environment is just great with Chris Cashman talking in between rounds and in the breaks. It's just a lot of fun and I'm not that bad at it either so that helps. On Monday I played about an hour and a half and did pretty well leading the group I was in for most of the time. Last night I played close to three hours of it when it started at 8 and went to 10 for the live show. The extended play which was just E3 trivia was on at 10 to 11. I recommend playing it! Extended Play is on again tonight at 7PM EST/4PM PST.

Modern Warfare 2

I have now pre-ordered it. Not only just a pre-order, but the collector's edition pre-order. I put the minimum of $10 down on it and it will cost $80 when it comes out. The lady at GameStop said she doesn't know what's in the collector's edition yet but I can downgrade if I ever want to (I won't.) I got the kick-ass poster, too. I would put a picture of it in here but I can't find my digital camera. I will in my next post though. November 10, 2009 -- Mark that date. (I already have)

World of Warcraft

Yep, you read that right. I have now played the game I have made fun of since it came out. And, unfortunately, I LOVE IT!!! Why unfortunately? Well, I now have to pay $15 a month in order to continue. My friend sent me a recruitment and I decided to give it a try. I like it so much and he wants someone to play it with so much he's paying for 2 months for me! Yay! I now have two addictions: achievements and WoW. (and WoW has achievements!)

There you have it! Oh and once again Gamespot has made me hate using a great web browser. This blog gets messed up in Google Chrome (which I used to use) and now in Safari 4 (which I really like and use right now). Firefox 3.5 Beta and IE 8 (my other browsers) both work fine with this.
