A lot has happen. I've got the car license and I'm sharing a Pegout 205 GT with my brother (don't think its a good car just cause it's named "GT")

I've also entered college. I'm doing architecture in Lisbon (it's about 300km away from my previous home...) I'm living with my brother maikedi, and both of us are full of work. I go to University every day at 8 am (waking up at 6:45) and I only return home at 8:30 pm. This happens 3 times a week! It's really tiring. The other 2 days I leave at 3 pm, nothing much...

Now for the good part...

I bought Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Only had time to play some times on the multiplayer online mode, and I'm already kickin!

This time I spent playing was in 1 weekend when I went back to Lagos, so obviously I didn't have time to play the story mode. If you see me online playing Uncharted, please join me, I really want to play with some of you. I'll be online maybe this weekend or in the next one. Be ready to face my wrath! =P

Now there is only a countdown for something that'll happen on Friday, May 22nd at 2 a.m.
To the teaser site was also added some lighting... like if a storm was coming slowly. When the lighting appears you can see an S or a 5.
Could it be S for Snake or for Solid? Or could it be 5 for MGS5?
If we join the details that'll point for the 5th game of MGS. The one that Kojima talked about in GDC 2009

As you could see in the end of the video Kojima-san talked about the ultimate Stealth Game, a new metal gear. You can see that in the end of the video there's a new character above the text: Mission: The New MGS... guess who... It's Raiden.
Could it be a MGS game around Raiden's future or past? What could it be?

Or maybe this theory is wrong and it's not an MGS game. Who knows...

That's right! I've been playing Patapon 2 and it's probably the best psp game ever made! Since psp can't handle the high definition graphics Sony just made it simple. Although it may seem a infantile game at first sight, this game makes you think. Customize your patapons, choose the best army, know when to defend or attack, but the most important thing... keep the rhythm! If you fail to keep the fever mode you may loose the battle.

I only have 4 hours of gameplay and it is already becoming hard to beat the bosses and even normal battles against the karmen (the new enemies, much like the patapons except they have primitive masks on their faces...) This game sure is giving me more "trouble" than the previous one, but that only makes me like the game even more! Pon Pon Chaka Chaka!

If you think you can't beat the game you can always change the difficulty to easy... (aka noob mode )

This is one of the best PSP games. It's a must-buy people!!!

But... how did i have time to play patapon if I'm full of work? I just got a Tonsillitis... what is it? its an infection in your throat.. it sure gives me a lot of pains when eating, and i can barely speak. One of its symptoms is fever. Skipped school because of that, almost didn't sleep, so to ease the pain the patapons came to the rescue (without my parents knowing). The problem is that this decease affects my ears, so i just can't hear that well. So its affecting my skills as Almighty of the patapons!

Never the less... it's always good to take a break from school except if you have a cute girlfriend waiting for you

DAMN IT! I'll be good by monday... i have to!

Last week I tried Battlefield Heroes beta the new and only play 4 free EA game (i think...).

For a free game it sure is cool. The comic cartoon graphics look great even in my **** pc.

I'm a Royal Soldier at lvl 8. It's a fun game I recommend it. I'm looking forward for the final version of the game.

So as an alternative, I watch movies. Yesterday I watched WATCHMEN!

It's such an awesome movie!

What makes this movie better than most (if not all) super hero movies? Well this one isn't about the super heroes, it's about a world that's rotting in which super heroes can't interfere since having a secret identity is illegal...

But there are some that continue saving or investigating crimes such as the brutal and awesome Rorschach.

As you can see he has a mask with ink, but the coolest thing is that it moves

If there is a main character in the movie, this is the one. He's voice is cool and powerful... like badass-powerful.

There are also other super heroes but they're stupid... (there is a poor version of batman) except for The Comedian and Dr.Manhattan (he's a god ).

The film has some cool fighting scenes although some seemed a little too violent... (not that i don't like it but it looks out of the context...) like breaking the arm in a way that the bone will be exposed and there will be blood flying all over...

Blood... hmmm lol

There is a lot of blood in the movie so cool

Story: ... well... what to say... its better than the previous games since it has videos.But it doesn't tell you much... Thats why there is a anime that comes with the SE pack

Game Modes:

• Arcade (Story mode... you fight less than 10 characters being the last 2 the important ones... your rival, and Seth)
• VS (Fight against a friend or CPU or watch a useless cpu vs cpu fight)
• Online battle (Fight strangers from all arround the globe)
• Chalenge mode (What makes the game big)
  
  • Trial (Teachs you the basics and the pro combos)
  • Time attack (defeat a number of characters within the time limit)
  • Survival (defeat a number of enemies with some restritions)
• Training (useless mode... if you want to train go to trial mode)

Gameplay: It's pretty cool but it requires skills! The special moves are the same in most cases with some changes here and there.

The game isn't as fast as SSFIITHDR but still fast! It has some good looking Ultra moves that'll put your oponent in the line as well as the super moves. The ultra move requires the revenge gauge full or almost full... this gauge increases with the beating you get, so if you are going for the perfect you won't be making any ultra move (metsu hadouken for example...) but the super combo will be available if you do lots of special moves! Making this special moves (hadouken or shoryuken for example...) will increase your EX gauge that can be used for super moves (shinku hadouken in ryu's case) or EX-special moves (fired hadouken is a EX-special move). This moves already existed in the Street fighter 3 games - its exactly the same as the special moves but faster and stronger. You'll know you used one when your character is glowing yellow...

The new thing in this game besisdes the ultra move is the focus attack. The focus attack is a chargable attack that can take up to one hit from the enemy. This attack is usefull to create counter attacks.

Online: Almost doens't have lag! It's awesome!! There are pretty good fighter online, be aware! Train hard!

Kinda bored right now... i may have missed something on this S**ty-review... be free to make suggestions

Resistance Retribution

First of all... The demo is too small, so most of the things I say here may be untrue... but this is the idea i had about the game.

The graphics were ok for a psp game (it doens't hurt your eyes) obviously nothing like the ps3 games... OBVIOUS

anyway the controls feel natural nothing too complex: Analog stick to walk; square, circle, triangle and X to aim (since it doesn't have a right analog... which sucks btw...); R to fire your weapon, L for secundary fire; left arrow to reload; right to change weapon; up to zoom (auto-aim turned off)

Yes the game has auto-aim, which is a wise decision since you don't have much precision with the 4 right buttons...

The best thing in the gameplay is the covering system. It's simple... you just press against the wall one time and your under cover (only works while having enemies near you). When you fire, you'll pop up to kill your enemies. to get down to cover again you just need to release the fire button.

I'm still playing the demo over and over, skiping the videos since they suck... why do they suck? well, the dialog is lame! seriously... WTH?

Go watch some vids and you know what I'm talking about...

Yet again I reached the last made episode of naruto shippuden!

I've reached it before... right before school ended this year. But since then i just played PS3 and came to GS and enjoyed my vacations doing other stuff, thus having no time for naruto episodes.

Some weeks ago naruto reached portuguese televisions and now after watching (again) Gaara vs Rock Lee I started to watch naruto shippuden again and watched everything that I didn't watch before.

But there is still a problem... some of my friends are telling me spoillers from the manga just for fun, you know... messing around... and i kinda get pissed off so i started reading the manga since the beggining and am now currently at Naruto manga #16 (Zabuza's first defeat) and I'm loving reviewing cool episodes from the past... its cool...

In other news... This year I have a new subject where we prepare a project and execute it later. My group is formed and we're still choosing what to do, but an awesome oportunity as appeard...

We're making a car or something like that with an engine and all! Hope we can do it, just have to search for information on the internet or with local companies and stuff...

We'll have support, so it IS a possible dream, lol

I just bought it 2 days ago when i went to watch Hellboy II: Golden Army. It's a mediocre movie.. i mean... it's like a 3,5 out of 5...

anyway I'm here to talk about Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max for the PSP.

It's a remake of the PS1 version, with some new stuff, including new modes and 4 new characters, but the essence of Street Fighter Alpha 3 is still there. Thus meaning that the best fighting game I've ever played is now on my PSPortable!!!

My fav character is Akuma, and I'm now playing worldtour with him and I'm kickin' @ss!

oh wait... I've finished the world tour... hheheh lol its a little different from The ps1 version... STILL AWESOME! best game i have for the psp!

Since its the last day of holidays, I'll be spending it playing SFA3 and warhawk yey...

Wait... hasn't school started already? Nope not for us here in Portugal your authorized to say "Lucky B*st*rd" with more or less "*".

Anyway, school hasn't started yet but I'm already stressed about it, because this is an important year, and I have to do my best, since it's my last year on high school. Next year I'm going to a big city! I'm going to Lisbon, hopefully without my parents, i want to start to live by myself, meaning I will go to school, return home and make dinner and stuff... anyway since it's going to be hardcore in the university my parents will give me some money, so i don't have to work in a part-time job...

Anyway, I'm not going alone, some of my friends are going to Lisbon as well. I already have a not-that small apartment that was used by my older brother when he was at Uni... but I'll have to share it with my twin bro, maikedi. It'll be cool! Of course, each one has their apartment's corner, meaning YOUR NOT GOING TO TRESPASS, ARE YOU READING THIS BRO!!!! lol My property, FU!

Why am I already stressed? It's not just because of the thing I wrote above, but also because I don't f***ing remember some things that are like... CRUCIAL, both in math and another subject that's like....drawing figures in space...like this

I also had some holiday homework... yap, noone it gave it to me, but i thought it would be better for me if i just did it before school starts, and what's that? It's reading a damm book... It's called 'Memorial do Convento' from José Saramago a very talented portuguese writer... i think... to be in portuguese subject it must be...

The coolest thing is that i started the book in the begining of the summer holidays and I'm still in the beggining lol ops....

I'm already getting myself and my desk organized, meaning I'll be a little busy in this week. I'll be either doing this, or playing warhawk... I must reach the Chief Wingman rank! Easy but it takes time, today i actually won a lot of points so no sweat.

Also, I went to Lisbon in the other day with my parents, and my father wanted to give us (me and my bro) a music cd to each other. Maikedi didn't choose anything so i had to choose 2 cds... At the beginning I was thinking about an ACDC's Best-of but it was when i realized... WTF? I still don't have all os the cd's of my fav band... QOTSA (stands for Queens of the Stone Age). Picked Era Vulgaris the one with 3's & 7's and Make It Wit Chu both awesome songs, oh and also Sick, Sick, Sick. The other "missing" QOTSA album was Rated R with songs such as: The Lost Art of Keeping a Secret , Auto Pilot and Better Living Through Chemistry. Awesome musics only from awesome bands! QOTSA ROCKS!!!

My school schedule or whatever you call it, you know.... was "launched" today. The worst days are going to be monday and friday, I enter at 8:30 am and leave at 6:10 pm, with a 90 minutes lunch break...

The coolest day will be Thursday with only 2 hours and 15 minutes of physic subject, then I'll have the day free, of school, and full of homework

Yet another update about my gaming life, but this time i made a header for the blog... preetty cool, no?

I'm currently playing Ninja Gaiden Sigma on Hard, yap, thats right! ON HARD!!! Normal mode was freaking difficult, and this one is just suicide! But I'm getting good at it, eventually I'll finish the game. I'm on Chapter 15 out of 19. It's actually when the game gets even harder... anyway, why am I playing on hard mode?

First reason is cause the game rocks! One of my favorite games of my collection, second, I wanted to unlock the third and hopefully the last suit.

Now to Warhawk!

I've borrow the game from roger, but it seems it isn't possible to share... I mean... it has some problems, not good!

But even so I've played 12 hours of it and got addicted to it, and now that it has trophies, I'm surelly buying it from the psn! When? Today or tomorrow, just keep your eyes on my psn!

Btw the new update just inserted a new insignia, and guess what it is... It's almost exactly the same as the naughtydog's logo!

Devil May Cry 4 - Finished in the easiest difficulty since I'm new to the franchise, but I'm going to finish it in the next difficulty... eventually;

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit - Just in normal, still have to finish it in the other 5 difficulties;

Super Stardust HD

Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty - Finished once, maybeI'll finish it again to get all the weapons upgrades;

Spider-Man 3

Genji: Days of the Blade

Resistance: Fall of Man - finished a lot of times speacially on co-op (including super-human mode);

Ninja Gaiden Sigma - currently playing the 2nd time;

Heavenly Sword- finished 2 times on both difficulties;

Army of Two - I'm so bored of this game... maybe 6 times all of them in co-op;

Haze - Not playing it again for obvious reasons...;

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction - Fnished 2 or something like that. Totally playing it again.

Assassin's Creed - Finished all memory block 100% except for the one that includes the flags...;

MotorStorm - Finished once, waiting for pacific rift...

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - finished 5 times, 2 of them in crushing

Attention!: If you have not finished the previous game: Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and you don't any spoilers about it, plz do NOT read this blog and do NOT buy this game for it is the continuation of it.

I bought the game 2 days ago at night, i downloaded it, and in the next day i started the game.

It's a cool game, worth buying since I'm a fan of the ratchet and clank saga.

I've finished already with a total of 4 hours, more or less, of gameplay.

The story is about ratchet finding info about the whereabouts of his first mate, Clank, which was abducted by the zony on the end of the previous game - ratchet and clank future:tod.

Ratchet then starts his new quest, to find "it".

Now about the game itself...

It has a total of 3 different difficulties.

The gameplay is not much different from Tools of Destruction, but it has some new things like the ability to move things around you with the wrench, or grabbing objects with it.

In this game Insomniac as focused itself in developing the puzzle and exploration parts. Because of that, QfB has some cool puzzles not as easy as in the previous games, in this game, you REALLY have to think... maybe not that much, but more than usual.

The weapons in this game are some of the existing ones in ToD. You still have the upgrading part. Being the game so small, they didn't had space to put all the weapons, but you are able to use up to 7 familiar weapons.

The graphics are really close to ToD if not the same.

The environment can either be colorful or very dark, making it impossible for you to see anything. There are about 4 to 6 different places you can play: dark cavern, pirate ship and other cool places.

There are some hidden things in the game for you to find but nothing much. Also there are no skill points.

More... can't remember anything else... If anyone would like to add something... plz do it!

This game gets a 7.5 out of 10 from GS... If your comparing the game with all the other games in the business, it may be a correct score, but if you just consider the small games from PSN... then i think it deserves a 8.5!

oh btw... this game is REALLY an introduction to R&CF 2, great story and even greater end! No spoillers, so you will just have to buy the game to see it for yourself.

That's right! I just finished Uncharted on Crushing mode. Since I already had all the other trophies i received the platinum trophy... I'm so proud of myself for finishing Uncharted with 100% for the second time... meaning, I have finished the game 5 times, 3 for the first 100% and 2 for the trophies one...

What was i busy with?... well... DUH, can't play during school so I'm constantly playing, and also going to the beach

Since June 20 I've played Haze (game sucks... not underated) DMC4 (the graphics didn't look that bad, had a good story) played AGAIN Army of two with my bro (finished 3 times in 2 days :O) still playing DBZ (I'm taking a while cause I'm trying to get Z in every dificulty) finished Patapon today with 22 hours :O (first boss is in lvl 21 , i have 3 green guys (best of the best, very rare))

More 4 - 5 days and I'm playing MGS4 relaxed

FW 2.4 is awesome! no need to leave the game to answer the messages wow

I'm just sad that MGS4 doesnt have trophies... or has it? I wished...

The music cheers you up anytime and without you noticing your dancing with you head or foot. Very artistic game with lots of things to do: hunting to make more soldiers, atacking the enemy to get new weapons and destroying giant beasts to get you through the story.

You've also got some mini games (always with music) to get wood or cristals for your soldiers.

Great game! I recomend it (I'm still in the begining of the game with just 7 hours... the game looks big....)

Also... I've bought Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit on June 7th, the day after the festival... which it rocked btw...

Haven't tried the game yet because I have to study to the exam... I'm staying from lunch to dinner in my room studying for this crappy subject called Physics and Chimestry...

Going back to Rock in Rio... it rocked! beers (a bit expensive... but i was expecting that) babes, good music (except maybe for Orishas... Hip Hop in a day of rock... not the best option...) my fav band is Offspring but Linkin Park won this round by making a great show! I loved it! very cool

I'm going to watch The Incredeble Hulk next Thursday... it seems much better than the first one... looking forward to it (besides, it's a little break from the study...)

oh yeah almost forgot... I tryed Gamespot mobile BETA... its nice, not many pictures so it can be a smaller site, but good... nothing like the original... but a good copy.

It ends next friday (June 6th), but I still have the Chimestry and phisics exam... in une 20th...

besides that... cause I'm going to lisbon I'll be able to go to decent game shop, where I'll buy Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit (june 6th in portugal), thus having 3 games on my collection: DMC4, haze and DBZ...

when the time comes... I'll buy MGS4... or should i say... my older brother will buy it...

from what i've heard from maikedi (that had this info from tombo) it seems the special edition isn't going to be released on europe... that s*cks... anyway... it isn't anything much is it?

While I'm not studying for the exam I'll go to the beach (if possible... cause the weather here is a sh**), and also I'll be playing Contra 3 (see on Now Playing List) for the SNES *coughemulatorcough*

It's a great game. Personally I give it a 9/10 cause it's so addictive even in the nowadays where PS3 and other minor consoles rule the market...

oh BTW... just finished beating it on Normal mode (remember: this game is from the time when memory cards didn't exist... thus being a small game that can be beaten in 10-20 minutes) Even in easy it's an hard game that requires a lot of concentration...

From what I've understand of the gamespot interviews, it seems the new character is totally a different from the previous games and in this new one there will not be sand, thus not going back in time to save your ass...

but you have a new weapon, a gauntlet that will help you in your acrobatic moves live wall-climbing and other stuff...

since I have all prince of persia games... I'll buy this one along with resistance 2 and motorstorm 2 at the end of this year...

but first i have to finish Haze, Devil May Cry 4, dragon Ball Z burst Limit and MGS4.

in other news... school ends in 7 days! but it won't change my gaming status, which is OFFLINE , due to the exam that I'll be having at the end of the month more precisely at june 20th.

But that doesn't mean i can't hang out with my friends or go to the beach.

That's why I may be going to Rock'n Rio in Lisbon next friday to see Linkin Park and Offspring or whatever its write...

I haven't seen Indiana Jones yet... may be going today, not sure... I'll edit the blog if i do.
