Good Morning! Good Afternoon! And Good Evening to all the Gamespotters from different time zones in the world! I am proudly saying that I'm back in my Gamespot posting business after some 8 months or so. A LOT has happened since I last posted, from game playthroughs, to different things that happened in school, to my being a musician. And I'm glad I finally found some time to post here in my fave game site again. Boy am I feeling excited in posting again ).

First things first, GAMES:

Well lately I've been REALLY bored playing PSP games. So I went "treasure hunting" over our ancient PC stuff and lookie what I found!

Diablo II! and...

Neverwinter Nights!

I even found a copy of FreeSpace 2 and Warcraft II. But the 2 games above are what I plan on starting.

As for my PS2, I decided to buy a copy of Grandia III.

and so far I am liking it .

It is a nifty addition to your PSP collection if you know how to create music and/or a solo musician who is in need of a customized backing track. In fact, Beaterator has already helped me make some songs now! That's what been keeping me busy besides the school works. It really is a helpful tool that allows you to make your own songs (to sing with), tracks (to play instruments with), or if you just wanna create a music mash .

Hello everyone! Are you having a nice Friday? Well I am having fun . I've been absent from GS for a while

I've been doing, I rarely even get the time to rest! Sigh high-school's pretty tiring xD. But its alright cuz I'm a little more active in sports now, I play basketball and badminton frequently, then when I come home I take a nap... then wake up at 8pm then go WTF?!

In my gaming activities though, I've been playing a lot of Dissidia and a bit of Chrono Cross lately. In Dissidia I've finished the Shade Impulse mode and got Cloud, Sephiroth, Squall, and Zidane to level 100 . In Chrono Cross however, I've only just killed the mama komodo and got back to arni, and you guys know what happen already, right? So I'm not gonna narrate it anymore to those who haven't played it yet . But seriously, I'm a little pissed off, I've already been really far on the game when I was playing it on my PS1 before then it broke, now I have to start over .

Heya people! I just finished Final Fantasy IX minutes ago, and the time is? 2:06am UAE time O_O. Well I started playing 9pm and ended at 2am. Have you guys ever had this you-wanna-stop-playing-but-you-can't-get-enough-of-the-game feeling? Well I had that that's why I've been playing for 5 hours STRAIGHT. Ok... enough with the time issue... This is what I can say about FF9:

ITS EFFIN EPIC!

It's so freaking GREAT that I can't even say anything else! The story had me wanting for more, just like what SE did to me with all other FF games, but I dunno, FF9 has REALLY made me 500% more addicted to Final Fantasy... Its just so great! Story, soundtrack, story, gameplay, story, visuals... and oh did I say story? In my opinion, FF9 deserves a exaggeration with story, I mean, c'mon! You MUST know what I mean if you've been playing FFs! Because of that, this game deserves a nice score of 10/10... just like all the other FFs I played ^_^.

Oh and btw... I still haven't beaten Ozma, I'm gonna try fighting it tomorrow when I have the time.

But as they say it... All good things must come to an end . But now, I don't really know what to play next in the mainline FF... should it be Final Fantasy II, IV, V, or VIII? LoL I don't know what to friggin play next!

But despite my happiness on beating FF9... There's also a sad event that has happened in our family, my Auntie who is in the Phils has sadly passed away... Because of that my mom and dad had to go back to the Phils for 5 days while I stay here in the UAE. I know this is asking for much but, lets all pray for my Aunt's soul. May she rest in peace...

I don't know if my absence for a week is obvious, but ok, I'll say it now xD. I've been too busy to blog because of playing, I've been playing Final Fantasy IX day and night lately xD. And my work has payed off cuz now I'm in Disc 4 and doing some optional things before I face Kuja (dun dun duuuuunn). And while playing through the game, I can't help but think that this FF is as good as the mighty FF7, I played both, and I really can't decide now on which FF is better, so I'm putting them in a tie . I really liked FF9's shift to its cla$$ic gameplay (the inclusion of the different kinds of mages, especially) while still maintaining visuals good enough to be a PS2 game (I just can't get enough of the CGs! It makes me think that I'm playing a PS2 game minus the voice-overs. To show my love for this game, maybe I'll make a review of it soon ^_^.

Still in the FF topic, I think when I finish FF9, I'll play Final Fantasy V Advance which I said last 2 posts that I rented along with IV and VI, I returned it now and bought myself used copies and then returned my friend's GBA. Well now I downloaded an emulator (its legal, I think) for my PSP because I don't want to always bring my broken GBA and my PSP whenever we go out xD. And also, my sister bought a Nintendo DS, we made a deal that whenever she gets bored with it I'll let her borrow my PSP and she'll let me borrow her DS , so then I can play the DS remakes of FF3 AND FF4! My only problem now is looking for cartridges xD.

Ok... I said last post that I was gonna look for Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy IX copies, right? Well I got them both now ! I remember playing these two games back when I was, like, 7 or 8. Before, I can't finish Chrono Cross cuz the 2nd CD is broken and it just hangs , then I can't finish Final Fantasy IX coz I was soooo under-levelled and I got so frustrated and decided not to continue it lol (I was level 4 I think when I fought the 3rd Black Waltz ). But now.... I can finally finish BOTH! WOOT! *goes and calls everyone to come over for a party xD* I am currently in the 2nd CD in FF9 (in the Ramuh part) and I haven't started Chrono Cross YET. I decided to play FF9 than FF8 but I am gonna play FF8 too as soon as I finish FF9 .

Uhh... And we don't have school until September 23. Word has it that someone in my c.l.a.s.s. is positive with 'the' flu. Yep, the friggin swine flu, I don't know yet if its true but it sounds like it. So because of the loooong vacation... I STILL HAVE MORE TIME FOR MY GAMES! Yay! .

Yep! ^_^ I finally got *it*! I've been waiting for this game for a year already! And its FINALLY in my hands! Oh maaaaaan I'm so happy! I can't stop jumping up until now due to absurd happiness . Now who's the first character I used? I used the Warrior of Light first then when I had enough PP i bought Sephiroth and played several quick battles using him xD. All hail Sephiroth! Master of Villains! xD

In another note, I felt pretty nostalgic playing as some of the Dissidia characters so I dug up my old PSOne CD case and got Final Fantasy VIII. Then I went to borrow my friend's unused GBA and rented Final Fantasy 4-6 (which I played before on my now broken GBA). Ahh, feels SOOOO good to play the cIa$sics ^_^. Then, while replaying the other FF games, I am currently looking for old Chrono Cross and Final Fantasy IX copies which I can play in my PC emulator too ^_^ (that's legal, right? I had a PSOne before). Now all I need to play are FFT DS, FF3 and FF10 and I had completed playing all the FF games I need to play . BTW... I KNOW I'm a geek, you don't need to tell that to me anymore :p.

As for my absence, I haven't been able to blog because of internet problems and my cIasses, its really a bummer because the internet is so laggy and cl$$es are a bit hectic. But now until Sept. 3 we are on vacation :p, but the reason is pretty scary. The heck! 7 of my cla$$mates have fever! daym! That's why the school decided to suspend the cIasses and then they gave us a TON of homework xD.

I'm back here in the UAE and I just arrived from school a bit earlier, we arrived just the other day. And on the airplane back here, I watched Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li unfortunately. Honestly, its one of the crappiest movies based on a game, I watched the 90s' Street Fighter (the one where Van Damme acted as guile) and that the latter was actually better! What I hated so much in Legend of Chun Li was the actors/actresses, I mean, C'MON! CHUN-LI IS OBVIOUSLY ASIAN! And BISON WAS SUPPOSED TO BE, like, AWESOME! But what hapened? No Psycho Crushers, no Psycho Drives, no special moves (except Chun Li's "fireball" which looked like a pink beachball). Vega was in the movie, but seriously, Taboo? AFAIK, Vega was supposed to look French and he was supposed to be one of the quickest characters in the series, but Chun-li pwned him! LoL! Oh and Balrog, Gen and Charlie... I don't even want to talk about it anymore o_o. This movie COULD have been good, IF it WASN'T a Street Fighter movie... Now who's with me?

Just as the title says, me and my brother finished Mirror's Edge earlier this day, we didn't get all the optional items but to me finishing the game was enough . It really is a good game which kept me thrilled all troughout the story, its like a hollywood movie already and the graphics are just TERRIFIC. The main story cutscenes are all made from cartoon art and they all move smooth too. But the main thrill of this game is really the gameplay, it is the first FPS that I played which actually needed the player to RUN and RUN and RUUUUNNNNNNNN! Unlike other FPSes in which you just keep shooting and reloading, this game gives a refreshing feel to players who always wanted to run and jump while keeping a great thrill factor. I recommend this game to gamers who want a new feel to FPS games and players looking for a CHALLENGE .

Hey guys, do you know a game pretty similar to megaman that I can play on the PSP? I can't seem to find a good 2d-scrolling game as good as the 2 MM games for the PSP... Meanwhile, I got my copy of DJ Max Portable from a friend thru a trade xD. I'm enjoying it now and I almost can't hear people around me cuz I am wearing my headset xD xD xD. Its actually a really great game (and a REALLY difficult one too) and the tones are mostly catchy! I like foreign Korean and Japanese songs and this game really suits my music taste :p. If you want a challenge, I suggest you get a copy nowwwww!!!! o_o......

Do you know the Korean girl band "Wonder Girls"? They are the ones that sang "Nobody" which is REALLLLLLLLLYYYYYYY popular here in the Philippines now, even as I speak, some jeepneys outside are playing this song and some kids are dancing to its tune, I admit that it is REALLY catchy and I even have its MP3 even though Im a guy! o_o

One thing that my classmates last year noticed about me is my physical and mental maturity, they said that I looked and had a brain like a 14-year old. Well, that's actually really explainable. I am the youngest of my 2 siblings (and we have a HUGE age gap too; my brother is 24 now and my sister is 32 this coming August 16) and I am always with them, my younger cousins though... I am not that close with them because we stay in the UAE and I only get to meet them when we come back here in the Philippines for a vacation.

Well, I don't want to bore you all with my life so here comes my game progress:

There are also ghost stories uploaded by users and some news of the paranormal. Helpful site if you wanna creep yourself out. (I always do it when the lights are off... maximum effect! :lol

Top 10 (REAL) Boredom Killers

Alright, I'm gonna end this post with the top 10 REAL boredom killers, not like the ones above xD

1. Gaming

You can never go wrong with gaming, there's a lot of games for a lot of consoles, there are a lot of genres to play, lot of levels to finish, and more! Gaming is my #1 boredom killer, really.

2. Learn to Use an Instrument

Guitar, Piano, Bass, Drums, etc. Its up to you to find the instrument that will suit you, who knows? Maybe you got the skill to be the next mozart or the next Darell?

3. Review Lessons for School

This may sound pretty lame, but it works sometimes! Especially when you have that over-tough lesson that you just can't understand. Reviewing will not only kill your boredom but it may also keep you smart .

4. Socialize

Be it with family, friends, ****ates, or a form of social networking site, its up to you. Share your stories and listen to theirs, make friends with anyone you trust, the more friends the merrier ^_^. (Hey guys, if you have a friendster, YM, or facebook you can PM me to add you ^_^)

5. Surf the Net

The net is one powerful thing, you can browse games, listen to music, read the news, socialize, research, you can do almost anything! Don't just stick with one site, go to google and search what you want! You WILL find what you're looking for. (Well, not everything, though. Try searching for your missing cat, that won't work)

6. Go Malling!

Go to malls! Either alone or with family/friends. I always go to malls with my family, and that bonds us more. If you're alone, its not that fun, so go with somebody, its always fun to go everywhere as long as you have the cash .

7. Download things

Ringtones, Wallpapers, Freewares. Anything as long as its legal .

8. Listen to your favorite music

Listen and sing with it, then get a guitar and play with it for maximum results! ^_^

9. Go to Forums

You can learn a LOT of things in forums, be it here in gamespot or other sites (i recommend GS, though :p). Don't be afraid to post if you have an answer to that question or if you're the one who wants to be answered, who knows? Maybe you'll make friends along the way.

10. Do What You Need To Do

Be it household chores, going to school, doing that specific errand, etc. that you need to do, you NEED to do it. The reason why you're getting bored is that you're not doing anything (hmmm, I may be wrong there xD) so do what you need to do and do your leisure time later .

Its a good day thats why I decided to make Top 10 Lists of everything I want to make a list in ... Here goes!

My Top 10 Favorite Games:

1. Final Fantasy VII (PSX)

Comment: I've never played a game as memorable as this. And I never liked a villain as I idolized Sephiroth! For those who still don't know, Sephiroth is my favorite character in gaming... ^_^

FF7 really changed how I think of games, it made me realize what a video game is, and still, up to now, it is still the best game that I played... I wish Square Enix would remake this and put voice actings, better graphics, etc. so that the people who don't want to play games with not so good graphics will think of playing this... Who agrees? ^_^ But still, the graphics are good enough... For me that is...

2. Breath of Fire III (PSX)

Have you guys ever played this great game? This was my first RPG and the first one that I finished, I remember back then that our PSX only supports PAL and the game was NTSC so we had to play it in black and white xD. But that didn't stop me from playing it, me and my brother finished it, then after a few months I got a new PSX which supports both PAL and NTSC and I played it again!

Really, this game is memorable, Ryu, Rei, Teepo, Nina, Pecco, Momo, Garr... really memorable characters, it was a shame that you can't control Teepo anymore after *that* scene... DAMN BALIO AND SUNDER! LOL

3. Tekken 5 (PS2)

Tekken 5... not a surprise to see this game in somebody's fave list, no? Tekken 5 was and still is fun, enjoyable, and really great... an excellent game and by adding the Arcade version (in which you try and get the character you use or even everyone to the Tekken Lord rank by defeating a LOT of AI players) and the Devil Within mode (an action-adventure mini-game featuring Jin in his quest to find answers to his devil gene) along with ****cs such as Time Attack and Survival... Oh and don't forget the Story Mode! haha.

4. Megaman Series (different consoles)

Did you ever play a Megaman game? maybe you did, but forgot, but try to recall that little blue-armored guy who fights enemies as big as buildings... Did that ring a bell? No? How about the uber-difficult game that made you throw your console outside the window? Yes, that game is a megaman game ...

One of the most notable things in the series is its difficulty, which makes it frustating sometimes, there was this point in Megaman and Bass in which I didn't play it for a week because I can't get through that Jelly guy x(.

I put the whole series in rank #4 because I can't decide which was the best one (*_*).

5. Guitar Hero 2 & Guitar Hero 3 (PS2)

No comment on this one, I just like them both ^_^

Wheeeeee! Another Reason for video games! The chicks! The chicks here are mostly from the Tekken and FF series, though.

In Crisis Core, however, I finished it when me and my family were still in the Phils, and now I'm playing it again because I accidentally formatted my Mem. Stick (yeah, I'm stupid, if thats what you are thinking :p) and I repeated CC... But now, though, I'm currently on Nibelheim after defeating Sephi and my current stats are:

With OTHER things though... I decided to learn piano for the vacation through self-teaching as I am doing with guitar now, I learn through the internet... And that's one reason to love the net! ^_^ No study fees, learn the music you want to learn, and best of all... ALL INSIDE THE DOOR OF YOUR HOUSE! :LOL:

Maybe I shall begin with a secret, then? Well everyone... I'm gonna tell the truth but PLEASE DON'T BAN me from GameSpot... I am only 12 years old... I know that GameSpot requires the user to be 13 years or above, right? But I joined gamespot when I was only 10... And I joined in to download patches and game downloads which I can't find anywhere else, but then, a year ago... I decided to log in and make use of the social networking features of GS... I did then, and DarkNeoBahamut (yo man! ^_^) was one of my first friends and he helped me out a lot when I was just starting out, my friend list grew, and nobody knew that I was 12... Until now...

But in the gaming industry... No one cares how old a gamer is, as long as he is good in those games... I bet you know Davee right (I respect him from the bottom of my heart) - the guy who found a way to enable homebrew for the PSP Brite aka PSP 3000... I waited for his HEN for a week with patience and perseverance, and when I downloaded it on May 10, I was amazed at how smooth it went on. Sure, I admit that it was a bit tough to start the ChickHEN but it worked out really fine! Up to this day I'm using it and playing homebrew programs on my PSP 3k. Davee, if you're reading this... THANK YOU VERY MUCH MAN!

Ok then, back to the topic bout my age, I know a lot of you now are planning to ban me but MY BDAY IS COMING SO AFTER THAT DAY I'M ALREADY LEGALLY A GAMESPOTTER! please guys... let me remain here in GS... GS was one of the few sites that I learned A LOT of things, not just about gaming, but a lot of other things too, in fact, I learned a lot of things here that I even applied it in school (how to write fluently in English, for example).

Well everyone, I love gamespot and I want to remain... That was a reason why I didn't post for a long time, I know its no big deal but I don't wanna get banned so I wanted to wait till August 1 this year so I can legally post about my age, but because I was missing my megatonB page... I decided to spill the truth and tell my age so I can keep on posting...

Well, back to gaming, when we were still in UAE, my dad bought me a copy of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, and I have to say that its **** Its a great prequel to FF7 and has really good gameplay, I love the game and I finished it last week, for those who didn't know, CC: FF7 was one of the games I was wishing for ever since I got my PSP. ^_^ I was soooo happy when I got the game ^_^

Well, thats it for now, I'll level up my chars a bit ^_^

Ok, enough with my personal life that no one cares knowing about.On my gaming records, a new game was added to my collection - Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, it is a good stealth-kind of game and I recommend it to gamers who like stealth games and looking for a good one on the PSP, I still don't know if it is as good as Splinter Cell because I never played that, is it good? BTW, does anyone have suggestions for stealth games for the PSP/PS2? I would really appreciate suggestions and thanks to those who will post a reply ^_^/m/

MP40, my favorite weapon in Medal of Honor Heroes - the most recent game I've finished, I just love shooting enemies with the MP40, not allowing them to have a shot at you, LOL! Whenever I have the chance to change my weapon to an MP40, I change it, I think that's the reason of my success in the campaign mode, haha.
