Sat, 11 Jul 2009 04:45:16 -0700 finish the fight - again - http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25699174 I don't know when, but I'm sure it happened someday, that I finished 3 games what I started ages ago...

The first was Star Trek: Elite Force. It was the same situation as in the knights of the temple. I was young and powerless to defeat the last boss... but this time it wasn't the same. At first the monsta powned me, but second I wasted the motherfu*er. Say goodbye to galaxy domination sucker.

A deep voice in my head echoed and told me to Return to Castle Wolfenstein!, because new adventure is close. So I said ok, why not? I was determined enough to go all the way and stop the N' world domination. Looks like domination is the favorite toy of bad guys.

Giant mechs haunted my dreams till I stood up and kicked their robotic gears. Freedom was almost in my grasp, but new enemies rose up to stop me. Though everything went fine thanks to Freedom Force...

Sun, 22 Mar 2009 15:27:50 -0700 Finished games nowadays http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25644040 Shade: Wrath of Angels

The game got a nice story with multiple endings. Our duty is to save our brother with the help of a demon and the guide of an angel. 4 Worlds waiting to be explored...

Wanted Dead or Alive

Old enemies from the past return to get revenge. Reverend Devlin takes up his gun for the last time. A western shooter and a very short one indeed with minor glitches...

Sacred

The evil necromancer Shaddar summons a demon, which goes berserk and the land of Ancaria needs a hero in these desperate times. Six choosable character from Gladiator to Seraphim in an almost never ending RPG. Tons of subquests with 4 main chapters. IMHO the game gets very boring after 12 hours of playing. The subquests offer not much variety...

Full Spectrum Warrior

Southern Zekistan, September 24. 2004 - 05:00 hrs. NATO forces invade Zekistan to remove Al-Afad from power. We command two fireteams from the 159th light infantry. We take part in the first twelve hours of the ground war. This is a very good tactical game...

Warhammer 40,000: Fire Warrior

The Imperium of Man wages war on the Tau. We control Kais young fire warrior who starts his first mission. The story tells 24 hours of the fighting from the first shot to the very last one.

Chicago 1930

The mob in Chicago takes up the business in 1928. Don Falcone and his fellow gangsters starts their carrier to conquer the city district by district (10 missions). First we control Jack Beretto the right hand man to conquer the city then in 1930 Edward "FBI" Nash to retake it all. The game is very similar to the famous "The Untouchables" movie...

The good old Knights of the Temple is a real son of a bit**. When I first played the game I went all the way to the top. But I wasn't able to defeat the final boss "The man of God, the Devil" Bishop. Yesterday I installed the game and the Infernal Crusade started again, but this time I was determined to put and end to this madness.

Our Hero Paul is a knight of the temple whose childhood friend Adelle got vanished and her mother asks us to find her. The crusade begins from Belmont through Jerusalem to the lost city of Petra all the way down to Hell and above. The game is a typical hack&slash action adventure with great music and sound.

Our mighty sword, axe, mace and bow crushed the hordes of evil and kicked Bishop's *ss down into hell. Ohhh holly yeah...

I finished Enter the Matrix on Ghost's side very long ago and now on Niobe's. The game is shorter. There are only a few places when we can act on Niobe's side and not doing the same with both characters. So its basically the same not giving too much into the whole... We can drive the Nebuchadnezzar in the last chapter not just shooting...

Mon, 11 Aug 2008 04:30:22 -0700 Codename: Panzers - Phase One http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25501262 Finished this piece of art. It's a WWII strategy game with lots of fun. The aspect is simple we have to fight are way through Europe on different sides. There's at least 30 missions and few bonus missions that waits to accomplish like capturing cities, villages, key points, convoys, defend etc. lot of different tasks. There are 3 campaigns with 3 heroes and 3 different stories. German, Russian, American . Our German hero Hans Von Grobel is a real bulletproof monk along the story he lose his tiger tank 3 times and still breathing air. The gameplay is simple we buy our units in the base what we want to use in the next mission. They got experience points while they fight and level up.

I'll take a break and start the second phase of Panzers...

Blade done a great service for Freeport City ... again. In the first game we fought against Elexis Sinclair, SinTEk's CEO who wants to change mother nature so badly that she developed a drug called U4 what mutates people drastically. His minions tried to poison Freeport's water supply, then tried to nuke everything and etc... In the end she disappears without a trace and the story goes on... In episode one at the very beginning we get so close to her like never before and we see a new face called Radeck. We got captured again and get an injection again... after that the fast paced shooting will begin through out 3 major areas. Docks, U4 lab in an oli tanker, and the Sintek Supremacy Tower.

In the beginning Ritual planned 9 episodes and 8 is still yet to come. Although the development team disintegrated. But, there is still hope...

Sun, 08 Jun 2008 06:35:04 -0700 Chaser http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25435308 After this, I can say that that game is based on California's best - "Total Recall" 8)
We wake up on a space station which is under attack by unknown forces, of course to kill us. We don't remember a thing and the sure is that everyone wants us dead. So the chase begins around the globe and after on Mars I think this is the longest FPS game ever created... The game maps are really huge to the extent of frustration, stacked with hordes of enemy. John Chaser is not the bullet proof kind as we expect it to be. 3-4 shots and we are killed by the weakest. It's recommended to move into cover after we open a door which is not as safe as it seams. The enemy can shoot through walls which can be a problem a few times. But we are not going down without a fight. Lot of weapons can be found around dead bodies. IMHO most of them are totally useless... The Music is quite good I liked it very much. And of course the ending...

Aftershock...
I'm quite happy because after the RoL ending this was another nice one. And I'm quite sad because I had to stop playing Genesis Rising after starting with a good story because of it's inconvenient bugs which are not corrected by the 1.44 update. I have to wait until a new one comes which is not expected so far...

Sat, 24 May 2008 09:09:43 -0700 Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25421387 When technology, magic, and fate meets each other legends start to rise. This was surely an interesting game. I don't know when was the last time I played with a RTS. I liked the story very much, although it's very simple. A shuttle fell above the sky changing everyone's fate under it. The plot goes around our hero Giacomo- Inventor of Miana- who's role is to take revenge for his brother and save the planet from the evil false gods. And the clock stops ticking. We have to conquer the lands on the strategic map to get points for our investments by completing missions in the areas in real time. 3 nations with different units, buildings and abilities of course not much of a complication. The music is totally awesome. Bugs are still present in ROL, our units can stuck into the environment or get lost by not finding the correct path.

The end is a big-huge one 8) I hope this is just the beginning of this franchise and the journey of Giacomo continues. I have a few ideas how to do that

Wed, 30 Apr 2008 01:50:16 -0700 Tom Clancy's: Rainbow Six - Lockdown http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25398791 On this week I also finished TC's: Lockdown. IMHO it was very refreshing that this game of the series go to arcade. Lesser tactics more action. We control Chavez the squad leader and 3 more will company us on most of the missions. The story is good as always. Terrorists seize different places, police, castle, bank, ferry and so on and our job is to disarm, rescue, neutralize... There is always a connection between the missions which will show us the outcome of the tale.

It's a good game still bugs are located. It's not very decent that the coordinator shouts "Alpha 2 you are injured!" after when we died and loaded. Our team mates stuck into the environment very often, which is very detailed and pretty. Sound and Music is good. The only problem is that 16 mission is slim when it comes to Tom Clancy and Rainbow...8)

It was an interesting game though it was filled with bugs. The story goes on after the disaster... Floating islands, pirates, master builders, bugs, and in the center is you fighting to rescue you friends. SPOILER

---Interesting that whatever you do your friends will die at the end. Although we can read dialogues in the folder of the game what speaks about rescuing them from the evil insects but these missions will never come.---

We can choose from 3 characters at the beginning of the story. Not much of a difference which you pick. You have to do only a few things to survive the game. Build your own island and kill the enemy as they charge. You have to fight them in the sky, on the land. This game is more likely a simulator and a shooter combined.

I really hated when I get stuck in the terrain and the enemy killed me or when I run out of firepower and the only option was to run. Sounds get very annoying after a time. Our hero will only speak up at the end of the game, then fly into the sunset.

Sun, 20 Apr 2008 15:08:34 -0700 Enclave http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25389374 In the evening I finished both sides of the Enclave. Not much of a story to tell though. Just the usual. Two Sides - Light and Evil. First we have to complete the Light campaign, then we can play the Evil. Simple missions one after another plus few bonus chapter. We have to travel a lot to find a way to stop the invasion of the dark then kill the mastermind and then the demon, end of story. Dark side is the opposite of everything. Help the mastermind then kill it then help the demon to rule the land, end of story... As we go we unlock new characters which we can use on the new missions...

Graphics are very clever and the sound and the music. The gameplay is so so. We have to find different amount of money on the maps and after we die we are resurrected in a portal what we activated before. Every activation costs 10 dollars. And if we have a lot of money then victory is in our grasp and everything is only just a matter of time. This is the point where it starts to get really boring on every single map. No challenge at all every victory is only just a matter of time...

Sat, 12 Apr 2008 09:34:48 -0700 Gorky Zero: Beyond Honor http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25381058 Today I finished the first episode - in chronological order - of the Gorky Saga. Cole Sullivan got a mission from his commander to infiltrate a base beyond the Ukraine border. Our mission is simple go in plant the bombs and get out. But its not going to be as simple as it sounds... I liked the story but it ends before it really starts

Everything is based on stealth though if we get enough firepower we can really start acting like the demolition man. Kill everyone armed or not... Speaking of firepower there is not much of a variety. Knife, Gun, Uzi, Shotgun, Sniper Rifle. And a lot of gadgets most of them are useless IMHO. The game bugs a few times, get stuck or some totally bull*hit that you can't hit the target from 1 meter and so on.. That really destroys the groove.

Next up will be Soldier Elite where White Fox will have a new mission...

Wed, 26 Mar 2008 11:50:23 -0700 Project IGI: I'm Going In http://www.gamespot.com/users/high344/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25362429 Today I finished the first episode of IGI. I remember when I first started playing it eight years ago. Played it for a month at least and only got to the 3rd map. And now 2 weekends was enough to play it through on normal difficulty. finish the fight - 3 - Time sure changes...

The story involves a nuke and every hassle with it. Find this man. Free that man. Upload this virus. Capture that man. Run... Kidnap this person. Find that persona. And finally kill and disarm. Lot of fun. Only 14 missions but one mistake and you die or get injured badly. And of course there is hardly any medicine around, and if you find some its only enough to fill up a little of your health. This is very close to a real life situation. But it totally gives the shiver when the last man kills you and you have to start everything from scratch. FPS game without saving... Ohh man what a crazy idea this was. Music is fine, voice is not the best. Jones should have used a nice shakeup though.

Now there is nothing in my way to start the next episode, Covert ops here I come...

I started hell knows when, deleted it because of a formatting. Saved my save games and few days ago I installed it and rushed all the way to the end. Basics are the same as the last time (A Road Adventure). Point, Click, and Hallelujah...

This episode was much harder IMHO. The story is not as great as in the Road Adventure, but it's worth a try. Music is cool just like in the first episode. We have to do a lot of crazy things to advance forward to the "To be continued..." sign. I'm really hyped now. Hardly can wait till the next episode if it's coming at all.

Nice Tactical shooter, far more better then the last episode... We should not give too much attention to the story. There are hardly any connection between the missions. In the exPack we can only imagine how the missions will connect because of the Stetchkov Syndicate name. They sell weapons to anyone who willingly wants to veil it. We have to stop them and their bad mannered customers. That's all. No more no less. Not even a twist. Our missions deplete in rescue civilians, neutralize bad guys, and sometimes disarm bombs. Its still a nice game if we want to slow down tha pace in FPS mode. After I finished it. I got the urge to start playing Rainbow Six again

Stopped playing Matrix: Path of Neo. Bugs and freezes all the time maybe later...

Well, I think this game is far more the best brutal game I ever played. Violence is intense, Gore is guaranteed. Our antihero is sentenced to death by lethal injection before wide public, but behind the scene he got into a hide & seek play. He will became the hunter & the hunted... Our main strength lies in hiding in shadows and executing. After we get real fire power the pace of the game will rise. From then we can fight face to face, until we reach the mastermind of this plot.

IMHO Until we get our first gun the game gets more and more boring. So the first head shot is a refreshing one Sounds are good. Respect for "The Director"
