I'm about to go to sleep, but I cannot seem to log off. This always happens to me when I have a "free" week. I should be practicing since I'm playing piano with the Christmas choir. ~de arimasu

OMG! The recital is getting closer and closer every day! I think I will be able to learn everything though, I just need to finish that Schubert piece and a short Oscar Peterson one. This would be my playlist: ~de arimasu

- Invention No.7 in E Minor (J.S.Bach)
- Three Part Invention No.1 in C Major (J.S.Bach)
- Fantasia in D minor K397 (Mozart)
- Impromptu Op.90 N.3. (Schubert)
- Vals op.64 n.2. (Chopin)
- Fantasia Impromptu (Chopin)
- Jazz Exercises 1 & 2 (Oscar Peterson)

I finally started to watch K-On, and wow, I really love it. The characters are really lovable, the plot is good, and best of all is about music! (well, sort of). I, however, wonder why in almost every anime of this kind there has to be a beach episode (and this one has two, no less). ~de arimasu

Wow... 2:42am, I seriously have issues. Good night. ~de arimasu

Wed, 11 Nov 2009 10:34:39 -0800 I've been tagged. ~de arimasu D: http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25756243 Oh, come on, you knew it was gonna come sooner or later. ~de arimasu

Here is some stuff you should(n't) know. ~de arimasu

1. My favorite anime is NOT Shakugan no Shana, however Wilhelmina-sama IS my favorite character of all time. ~de arimasu

2. My favorite bands are L'Arc~en~Ciel and Alice Nine. I'm listening more to Alice Nine though, love their s t y l e. ~de arimasu

3. I'm studying music (that you probably knew already :3)... but what you may not know is that I moved to GA from FL to do it, and I decided to actually come the day before cl@sses started (I was accepted already, but I didn't know if I was going to do it or not). ~de arimasu

4. I currently have around 260+ games in my collection, including Atari X800, NES, SNES, Genesis, GB, PS, N64, Dreamcast, GBA, PS2, GC, DS and PC. I have a wish list of around 100 games I want to get for those systems before getting the current-gen ones. ~de arimasu

5. I'm often misunderstood by people. A lot of times I say stuff meaning one thing, and somehow the other person will get a totally different idea of what I'm trying to say. Many people have told me I'm arrogant in the way I treat people, and I have not the slightest clue as why I'm perceived that way, since I admire so much the talents of people around me. ~de arimasu

6. I love also to compose music (and lyrics). In my composition notebook I have around 70 ideas written, and around 30 of them became decent songs (I think). ~de arimasu

7. I'm a really distracted person. I can accidentally damage a lot of stuff, and when people talk to me I might be daydreaming about something. Maybe that has some relation to #5, but I don't know o.O... I know for sure I don't want to drive a car yet, since I'll probably have an accident in less than 10 minutes. ~de arimasu

8. I hate spicy stuff, and I hate being invited to a house where everything NEEDS to be spicy. ~de arimasu

9. I own three guitars: an acoustic one I bought in Uruguay, a Washburn WI14 and my newest Gibson SG Special. ~de arimasu

10. My favorite sports are soccer and tennis. ~de arimasu

I don't who I'm tagging, but if you are tagged I'll let you know. ~de arimasu

Did you miss me? ~de arimasuka

This is a short -but sweet- blog. I'm back (yay!) ~de arimasu

This is seriously messed up. I am posting here and there in a gaming site, yet I haven't played anything (like getting into it) since summer. Oh, well. ~de arimasu

I bought a Gibson SG Special recently (I'll post a pic later), so I'm happy about that. ~de arimasu

I have to play a 30-minute piano recital in less than 2 months... and I'm scared since I'm not prepared at all... yeah, this is required to graduate from my school. Nice, isn't it? ~de arimasuka

I started taking singing lessons, and wow, it makes a BIG difference... I hear myself singing three months ago and I get a headache! ~de arimasu

So... I have to practice some Schubert... see ya later. ~de arimasune

Thu, 30 Jul 2009 15:08:13 -0700 I guess this is another good bye for now. ~de arimasu http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25708144 Hello; ~de arimasu

As I mentioned in a past blog, I'll be departing to GA to continue studying music. This would be my fourth semester (yay?). I have to show my ticket at 9:40 tomorrow. Hope I'm not late. ~de arimasu

So yeah, I guess I won't be active for a while (again), since I'll have a lot of work (taking extra classes, too) and practice to do. But... I'll be sure to be back by Christmas. And guess what? I beat you all to have a Christmas sig! ~de arimasu

I feel soooooooooooo lazy. ~de arimasu

I guess that's it, then. It has been fun to be around here this summer. ~de arimasu

P.S. To all my "family" members... beware of the X-virus I left behind. ~de arimasu

Sat, 25 Jul 2009 12:07:24 -0700 One week left... ~de arimasu http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25705475 Hello; ~de arimasu

These past weeks have been pretty relaxing... maybe too relaxing. I have literally found zero motivation to practice piano, while I can spend a lot of time with my guitar >_>... I don't know why, but I think that I need a big empty room (with a piano in it, of course xD) to be to concentrate. Here I have constant distractions with my relatives, and when I start practicing scales mosquitoes seem to appear from nowhere just to annoy me. ~de arimasu

However, I'm pretty satisfied with how I've improved my guitar playing in such a short time. I'm pretty grateful that I'm a fast learner. ~de arimasu

Next week I'll be going back to Georgia, since classes start on August 3rd. I'll be finally taking singing lessons besides piano lessons. And for those who read my blog a while ago, if you remember how angry I was because my piano teacher left the school, now I'm happy to announce that he'll be back. That is awesome, but it also implies that I'll have to get used to the way he teaches again. What a pain. ~de arimasu

So I've finally gotten some money to buy a new electric guitar... I'm thinking of buying a Ibanez RG5EX1, which is this one... but I might change my mind depending of the suggestions and the stuff available at Guitar Center... ~de arimasu

More news will come this week, so stay tuned. ~de arimasu

I'm happy, but kinda depressed... I'm turning 20 today... ~de arimasu

20... 20... 20... I hate that number. ~de arimasu

That means the end of a decade... and the start of a new one without the "teen" at the end... I feel old. ~de arimasu

Yeah, I hate 20, since 19 is my favorite number... at school (when I lived in Ecuador) I liked it better getting 19/20 than 20/20... 19 is such a cool number... ~de arimasu

So why am I turning 20? Is there no way to stop time? ~de arimasuka

Oh, well... I guess life goes on... ~de arimasu

This is pretty nice. I won't have to ask the church to let me practice there. ~de arimasu

In gaming news, I'm playing Lux Pain for my DS, and it certainly is much better than the GS score of 3.5 >_>... I algo got Trauma Center (the first one) but my sister is playing it now, so... ~de arimasu >.>

I'll blog a couple of times this month. Don't miss it. ~de arimasuyo

Ok, if you are not one of those random trackers I have, then you probably noticed my lack of activity. ~de arimasu

What are the reasons? ~de arimasuka

1. Christmas. ~de arimasu

2. Some lazyness. ~de arimasune

3. Classes re-start soon (the 12th of this month) and I'll be moving back to Atlanta, but to a different place, where I don't think I'll have easy access to the internet. ~de arimasu

So... I might still be around just to read reviews, blogs and stuff, and maybe even check out a couple of unions... but actively participating will be a pain if I use my DS Browser at school ~de arimasu

That's it. I'm not gone for good, I'm just taking some vacations until summer. Until then... ~de arimasu

Vexx88: You better keep TJEU alive >.> ~de arimasu

Kat: You better keep great grandpa in his track ~de arimasune

Angey: My lovely wife, don't kill too many people. ~de arimasu o.o

MM: Keep ranting in your blogs. ~de arimasu

Tue, 09 Dec 2008 21:31:13 -0800 16 things about me... yeah, 16 >.>... ~de arimasu http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25589381 A friend of mine inspired me to write this, so I'll just go ahead and say 16 things about me. ~de arimasu

I'd love to see your versions too. ~de arimasu

Here we go... ~de arimasu

1. I must mention this before I forget xD... one of my most obvious "problems" is my lack of attention to what is happening around me. In fact, the building could be on fire and I wouldn't notice unless it was like REALLY obvious. That also contributes to the fact that I don't remember people's names easily (I need to ask them 2 or 3 times when they are already calling me by my name >.>). I forget where my keys are ALL the time. I forget my homework at home. I forget I left something in the kitchen getting burnt. I forget that I should be doing an important hw right now. And... I forgot the book I need to do my homework at the school (for real)... ~de arimasu

2. So, why am I so distracted? Think about it as me having a big imagination and being able to daydream all day long >.>... I could be talking to you and nodding to everything, and at the end of our conversation ask you "so what did you say again?"... ~de arimasu

3. I often talk to myself while doing whatever (and I answer myself too)... Oh, once I was in a place where people rent internet (a cyber-cafe, in Ecuador it is pretty common), and when I was about to leave the manager called me and told me to stop talking to myself like that since I was "scaring" customers. ~de arimasu

4. If you didn't know this by now... I love J-Music. It is just way different from whatever I could ever hear in the US or Ecuador, and in this case, different = awesome for me. ~de arimasu

5. My favorite bands (tied in first place) are L'Arc~en~Ciel and Los Iracundos. L'Arc~en~Ciel is a Japanese group from Osaka, currently on hiatus, but they've planned to return in 2011. Los Iracundos, in the other hand, is a group from Paysandú, Uruguay, and were pretty active from 1960-1994, when they released their last original album. Now you get the idea of my influences while composing =O ~de arimasu

6. Some people tell me that I laugh too much, while others ask me "why so serious?" all the time... who should I believe? Actually, I think that both of them are right. When I'm not doing anything involving people or I'm concentrated doing stuff (that means, I look so "serious"), people ask me "are you ok? you aren't depressed, aren't you?"... but I laugh pretty easily at lots of things (sometimes I get this weird look when I'm the only one who laughs at the bad joke of the teacher)... ~de arimasu

7. I HATE having to get a haircut. When I was in school I HAD to get a haircut like each month because of the rules and all that. Nowadays I get one every 5 months or so. I'm getting one this month (last one was in August). ~de arimasu

8. I started getting into web design just as a hobbie, when somebody stole my msn group from me. Now I'm doing a couple of different works here and there (including my school). And what if that person had not stolen that msn group? ~de arimasuka

9. I don't like hot weather a bit. Cold>Hot any day for me. My luck is that I get to live in a hot region of the country, however >.>. ~de arimasu

10. I've been using my hotmail account for 6 years now (since 2002). That is why, at the moment, my msn list holds 519 contacts, and usually between 30-50 of them are online every day. There are many people I have NO idea of who they are or where they came from xD ~de arimasu

11. I usually do things when I need to do them. Actually, that was a lie xD... I need constant pressure to remember to do something, but that is when I do it with the best quality =O ~de arimasu

12. I've visited 8 different countries in my lifetime: Ecuador (duh!), Uruguay (wow!), Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Brazil and of course the USA... xD ~de arimasu

13. For some reason, I don't like to take the easy way out of anything. I'm always taking on challenges that seem pretty difficult to manage (AP Chemistry, I'm looking at you!). While this may seem like a good thing (and it is!), sometimes it gets in my way when I need to do really simple stuff and I end up making it difficult, losing lots of time which I could use to play videogames >.> ~de arimasu

14. About videogames! I don't quite remember the first game I played (must've been Mario for the SNES), but my first system was the NES and 11 games that an uncle gave me (Punch Out!, Super Mario Bros 3, Mickey Mousescapade, Batman, Goal!, Days of Thunder, Dick Tracy, Peter Pan and the Pirates, Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout, and two others I can't remember) ~de arimasu

15. My favorite dessert is cheesecake... can't resist! Second place is the pumpkin pie (which I only get to eat on Thanksgiving >.>) ~de arimasu

16. I don't recall to this day having ever copied in an exam. I have, however, let other people copy from mine numerous times... is that as bad? =P ~de arimasu

-----------------------------------------------------

There you go. It's been a long blog, but I hope you enjoyed (?) reading it as much fun that it was to write it. ~de arimasu

No bragging about the band and all that today. ~de arimasu

Sun, 23 Nov 2008 19:21:03 -0800 Recording in the studio... there is this girl... got lost and... ~ de arimasu http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25580220 Hello there. ~ de arimasu

This past couple of weeks have been pretty interesting. I've been in the studio at the school trying to record all of the compositions I consider decent enough to make demos and maybe produce them professionally later on. In average, I've spent like 3-4 hours each time I get in there. ~ de arimasu

The average time I take to record all the instruments and sing a song, and mix everything in a decent way is about 10-12 hours. ~ de arimasu

Wait... do I play all the instruments? No, I'm not a genius >.>... however, I can make some drum loops, imagine what the base would sound like and play it with the midi keyboard; and about the piano, guitar and voice... well, I do play those myself. ~ de arimasu

So yeah, so far I've recorded 4 songs, have 3 half-way through, and another one I haven't started yet. ~ de arimasune

With that said, one of those compositions is my homework for my composition subject, and it has to be related to Christmas. So I wrote my first jazz song. I never though I would get to this point in life. ~ de arimasu

My composition teacher would be singing, one teacher the base guitar, and two other teachers would be playing the alto sax... all just to help me. I would be playing the piano, and I just need to confirm the person who'll play the acoustic guitar and the drums.~ de arimasune

The problem, which is not so much of a problem, is that now I'm helping 3 other people with their own compositions so they can get it done. ~ de arimasu

Anyway, one of those three people is a girl, who... ~ de arimasu

Wait, do I want to share this now? It would make this blog really long. If you guys want to read the story, tell me though, and I could dedicate the next blog to it. ~ de arimasu

-------------------

Yesterday I was really sick. I woke up at 8:00am feeling really bad, and I was supposed to get to the school to help with the cafeteria at 8:30am. I finally made it and got there at 9:12am. All morning all I wanted to do was to return home and sleep. Obviously, I couldn't do it since I was in charge of the cafeteria =_=... so I was there all morning, and later they told me they needed help with some tech stuff for the devotional time in the afternoon, so I stayed there until 3:00pm. ~ de arimasu

Then, I felt the urge to go to the studio and record [evil: yes, go and do it! ~desu]... and I basically did something (like an hour) and then slept all afternoon in there xD... ~ de arimasu

------------------

Today was pretty "interesting"... we (the school band) got lost trying to get to a church to play. I would blame the leader, who got directions in MapQuest although I told him to get them in Google Map. ~ de arimasu

So anyway, we made a 2 hour trip which was actually 40 minutes long (the time it took to return), and missed the food they were offering before the service. You can't imagine how hungry (and happy) I was when I finally got to eat at 4:56pm in Wendy's >.> ~ de arimasu

Also, we obviously didn't make a sound check or anything, and they told us "don't worry, we'll make it while you play the first song"... that first song was horrible! I couldn't hear anybody, and in the part of a guitar solo we all got lost! ~ de arimasu

The rest of the playing was fine, I guess... and tomorrow we are playing along a Brazilian band (pretty famous in Brazil, I heard), so we really need to rehearse a couple of things (like our drummer putting the wrong loop in a song ) ~ de arimasu

I think that is all for now. Have a good night. ~ de arimasune

Ok, here are a couple of pics of my trip to Alabama with the school band:~ de arimasu

I usually play the piano, but I played the acoustic guitar in this concert. I received pretty good commentaries though. Seems that I've improved a lot (I'm the one in the far right) =O ~ de arimasu

This Saturday (11/01/200 was my presentation in the recital. I had to present an original composition (obviously that implied forming a band with some friends), so I gave it a try. The thing went pretty smoothly and I had tons of fun in only 5 minutes, so I'm really happy about it. People told me that I should copyright my songs, so I won't be giving a public youtube link. However, for those who want, you can add to your friends my youtube account Link3F (just look for it in youtube), and I'll share it with you, provided that you promise not to do anything more than watch my video and comment it. ~ de arimasu

Oh! People also told me that my singing has improved a lot, and that they loved the arrangements I made for the guitar and piano. ~ de arimasu

For those who don't want to go through the trouble, I've uploaded some pics of it, so you can get an idea of what it was like. ~ de arimasu

I really need to take a break. October has been a frustrating month, if also a lot of fun and learning. ~ de arimasu

Tomorrow, I'm going to play with the school band in Alabama, it's like a tour. I'll come back on Monday. ~ de arimasu

[evil: it is just a week, jeez! >.> ~desu]

Wed, 15 Oct 2008 12:09:00 -0700 Update on my life (finally!)... you guys asked for it! ~ de arimasu http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25555632 Ok, guys, here is the update you've been asking for. ~ de arimasu

Where could I start? ~ de arimasuka

Oh! Ecuador won its match against Chile for the World Cup qualifications =O ~ de arimasu

Ecuador 1-0 Chile

It was a pretty violent game from Chile's players, who received two red cards >.> ~ de arimasu

Still, a victory is a victory, and Ecuador will be playing against Venezuela today. If we win, we can go up to the 4th place (the first 4 qualify, and the 5th plays against some other team to decide who goes to Sudafrica)... ~ de arimasu

-------------------------------------

Oh, let's talk a little bit about my new teacher. Well, I know one thing for sure: he is different, like... totally. He says that some things that my previous teacher taught me were wrong, so I need to learn his way. Fortunately, he is good (not as good as the other, but still), and I think I can learn a lot from him, and take the best of each teacher. ~ de arimasune

By now, I'm almost finishing the Chopin Valse op 64 no 2 (I found his technique interesting, though I don't think I want to play like that) >.>... ~ de arimasu

-------------------------------------

I'm really excited. For my composition c l a s s (this is getting annoying >_>) I need to present (in a recital) one of my original songs. So I got already the people who'll play with me, and next week we'll start to practice, because I like to experiment and the song got out of my hands with so many chords and stuff like that. I really, really like it, though, and I'll make sure I record a video for all you guys when I perform it. ~ de arimasu

Oh! I know why many of you are here today! You want to know how the presentation I did last week went! ~ de arimasu

Ok, here you go. I made sure that somebody would record the whole thing (actually, I was just lucky that that person did it ), and I really want you guys to see it >.> ~ de arimasu

TRUE LIGHT (PIANO COVER BY ME) ~ de arimasu

Oh, yeah, that is me >.> ~ de arimasu

I was really, really, really nervous. I felt I hadn't practiced enough, but I think I did alright, even though a couple of mistakes happened toward the end. In the end I feel satisfied with it, and in the future may try to play it like when I practice alone (funny, when I practice alone the song is perfect, but in front of other people...). What is even weirder is that I usually lead the songs in my church, and I don't ever feel nervous. ~ de arimasu

Well, playing in a band is way easier than playing alone. ~ de arimasune

--------------------------

Also, I finally got to see The Dark Knight, and I must say that I'm really impressed that they've managed to make two awesome Batman movies in a row >.> ~ de arimasu

That's it for now. I need to do some stuff now. ~ de arimasu

P.S.: I'm level 29, almost getting to level 30. ~ de arimasune

Mon, 29 Sep 2008 15:21:50 -0700 I'm pissed off... like, seriously ~ de arimasu http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25545175 Hi guys >_> ~ de arimasu

I'm really pissed off today. As I've commented in previous blog posts, I'm dedicating lots of time at my institute (college, whatever you want to call it), practicing like crazy and that stuff... ~ de arimasu

Gotta say, a lot of my incentive has been (besides how much I love music), my piano teacher. He is incredible, a monster with the instrument, and very patient with his students. I saw him play in a concert and I was like... amazed... Check out the site of this band of his (he is the first one on the right): http://www.igcmusic.com/ ~ de arimasu

Turns out that today a teacher told me she wanted to speak to me in private, and I wondered what could I have done =O. So then she tells me that my piano teacher wanted to talk with a couple of his favorite students (a couple of guys and me) to apologize. He won't be working at the school anymore. ~ de arimasu

So yeah, I was really sad. But when the director of the institute told me the reason he left, I could barely resist how angry I was. Guess what: the other piano students (with the exception of the people he wants to have a talk with) have been way too lazy, have not practiced at all, and obviously for a teacher, that is really frustrating. I heard he [the teacher] had some problem because one student (a good friend of mine, but don't really agree to what he did) didn't want to study c l a s s i c stuff (yeah, the **** word problem again), but what he likes. So yeah, because the other people at school don't study as they should, I have no longer the opportunity to learn the way I was learning till now. ~ de arimasu

Yeah, the director told me there is person who will replace him, but seriously, I don't like the change a bit. I really hope he is good, though. ~ de arimasu

Past tomorrow this bassist is coming to my institute, and I'm going to play True Light (piano version) and see what advice he gives me o.o... wish me luck! ~ de arimasu

Thu, 25 Sep 2008 19:10:10 -0700 So I continue buying games... and don't have time to play! ~ de arimasu  http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25542410 Hi guys. ~ de arimasu

So I continue buying games... and don't have time to play! I'm almost getting True Light (piano) done, to play before a bassist called Olivier Gatto next week (he is going to give a 'master c l a s s' or something along those lines, where he teaches me in front of the other students). I also have to record 3 of my own songs for my technology and production subject at school. ~ de arimasu

This is crazy. I found somewhere near my home these games SEALED selling for $5 each. Obviously I had to buy them ~ de arimasu:

* Magical Starsign (DS) - trying to play this one ~ de arimasu

* Contact (DS) - bought 2 copies ~ de arimasu

* Elite Beat Agents (DS) - I already have one, but bought one to keep sealed and one as a gift to my little sister ~ de arimasu

I thought that maybe these games wouldn't work or something, but I opened Magical Starsign and one of the Contact copies, and both work wonderfully. I'm shocked. ~ de arimasu

And then, this friend sold me his Luigi's Mansion (GC) used copy and Star Fox Command (DS)... $16 for both of them. ~ de arimasu

I got from Goozex Robotech: Battlecry (GC) and Spectrobes (DS), which I just tried on my systems to give the feedback

What is wrong with me? ~ de arimasuka

In other news, I'm really mad with the emblems showing in my profile... I want the old-school gamer and serious collector ones to show up ~ de arimasu

I just watched August Rush as homework for my composition subject (can't say c l a s s ), and it was a little... not realistic ... I have to write an essay about it, though >_> ~ de arimasu

My legs hurt from the kicks I received while playing some futbol (soccer for you Americans >_>)... but I guess I'll be ok ~ de arimasu

7 more episodes to go before I finish Shakugan no Shana Second. ~ de arimasu =D

Mon, 08 Sep 2008 19:33:43 -0700 So I'm a piano teacher now... why am I so busy lately? ~ de arimasuka http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25529352 Hi guys. ~ de arimasu

So the director of the institute has finally done it. I'm a official piano teacher ~ de arimasu

It is kinda interesting. The usual piano teacher had to go to a conference or something and asked me to teach the students for him. I did it because he is my friend, you know? ~ de arimasuka

At the end of the 3 periods I taught the director asked me to give another one in the afternoon to the "teens" who wanted extra stuff. It just happens that they know nothing about a piano, but at least they are all at the same level, so it should be easier. This would be a regular period I would be teaching every Saturday.

But don't get me wrong, it is fun to teach music. The time just... flies. And it feels satisfying to be called "teacher" ~ de arimasu

Oh, the director of the institute also asked me to take charge of its web site! I'm excited and yet not that excited, since I have so much stuff to do every day (3-4 hours of piano practice, 1 hour of guitar, 1 hour of Japanese, plus school all morning )~ de arimasu

I just bought Robotech: Battlecry, but I haven't even played it for 30 minutes yet ~ de arimasu

Oh, I just printed out the sheet music of the Fire Emblem theme (Melee version), so I'll be practicing that along with the other stuff my piano teacher has left me. I'm almost through True Light from D.N. Angel too. ~ de arimasu

Oh, join me at Tales Brigade. ~ de arimasu

Mon, 01 Sep 2008 08:27:06 -0700 10 most played games in my life ~ de arimasu http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25522506 I just saw this thread in the Legacy Platforms board, so I thought I would put my answer here for future reference... ~ de arimasu

Hmm... let's see:

1. FIFA 2005 (GC) - Each match takes at least 20 minutes in the way I've configured the game... I'm now in the 7th or 8th season of the career mode (not counting when playing with friends)... that would be at least 30 matches per season... more than 320 hours ~ de arimasune

2. Super Smash Bros. Melee (GC) - Since I got it in 2002, I organized little tournaments at home, and the disc says it has been powered on like 400 times (with a memory card I got in 2003), so multiply that times at least 30-45 minutes I played (not my friends )... That would be around 200-300 hours... ~ de arimasu

3. International Superstar Soccer (SNES) - Hmm... I used to play this one and Deluxe a lot before I got FIFA 2005... between those two there must be easily 150-200 hours of game time... ~ de arimasu

4. Mario Kart: Double Dash (GC) - I got it and in about a week had unlocked everything... then started making countless time trials, tournaments and so on ... 100-150 hours would be a safe bet... ~ de arimashou

5. Elite Beat Agents (DS) - I have S rank in almost every song in every difficulty... I played each song countless times to do such a thing and get the "Lovin' machine" rank overall... definitely more than 100 hours in this one. ~ de arimasu

6. Goal! (NES) - My favorite soccer game before I got International Superstar Soccer (SNES)... I beat the World Cup with almost every team (16 in total)... I think I should've played around 75-100 hours. ~ de arimashou

7. Killer Instinct (SNES) - Yes, another fighting game... I beat the game with every character (just to see the endings ) and with Combo I could beat the game at the hardest difficulty using only 2 continues (Spinal... it is your fault )... and playing with my friends was the best part... I think I played this one about 75-100 too. ~ de arimashou

8. Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES) - Yup, it really was a challenge to get to the last level playing all the way through (no flutes >_>)... and being my favorite Mario game, I think I put some 60-70 hours of effort on this one. ~ de arimasu

9. Final Fantasy VIII (PS) - Almost at the end my timer was marking more than 50 hours... awesome game. ~ de arimasu

10. Tales of Symphonia (GC) - Same as the last one. ~ de arimasune

That's it. ~ de arimasu...

Care to share yours too? ~ de arimasuka

Sun, 31 Aug 2008 10:27:37 -0700 I've lost count of PMs praising/complaining the '~ de arimasu'... it is a hit! http://www.gamespot.com/users/cfamgcn/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25521645 Hello and welcome yet again ~ de arimasu

I'm surprised... I've seriously lost the count of PMs I've received in this last week saying...

"I love your reference to Wilhelmina" *hug* ~ de arimasu

or

"Just stop that abuse of the expression!" *smack* ~ de arimasu

or

"What the heck does 'de arimasu' mean?" ~ de arimasuka

Hmm... Wilhelmina will be proud of me (I hope) ~ de arimasu ... for those of you who are still wondering, "~ de arimasu" has no "real" meaning. It is just like Kenshin saying "Oro" [Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X series] ~ de arimasune

Thank you all for sending all coments via PM... and no, I'm not a cat girl for the last time úú ~ de arimasu

In other news, I've increased my piano practice time to 4 hours, since my teacher is pretty strict and makes me learn a lot of stuff (I'm happy about that ) ~ de arimasu... currently I'm learning Chopin's Valse Op.64 2 (waltz op 64 #2), which is pretty good for my technique, he said ~ de arimasune

Tomorrow I have no school, yay! ~ de arimasune

For now, my obsession seems to be Wilhelmina from Shakugan no Shana ~ de arimasu

She is so... like how do I explain it... my first impression wasn't "wow" or anything ~ de arimasu, but after getting to know her and seeing her in action, I can't say anything else but... Wilhelmina rules! ~ de arimasu
