ABC's The View program was very heated today following SHOCKING and IGNORANT remarks from well-known media personality and Fox News looney 'Bill O'Reilly' who stated that 'Muslims killed us on 9/11' and everyone especially Joy Behar and Whoopi Golberg were stunned and infact they couldnt take the intolerance anymore so they walked of the set in a understandable rage.

((( MY THOUGHTS )))

I am DUMBFOUNDED that someone can make such Bigoted and IMMORAL remarks, What a Ignoramus! How could someone judge a whole religion from the acts of these so called 'Muslim' extremists. Their are close to 2 Billion Muslims worldwide, We make up a quater of the world's population, 99.9% of Muslims are Moderate peace loving people who are just like everyone else, but some people are just too Intolerant and Ignorant to believe that's the fact.

Remember, Extremists were responsible for 9/11 not a Religion and there are Extremists from ALL Religions.

I applaud Whoopi and Joy for walking off set and standing up against this Bigot, they seem very passionate on issues such as these and so they should be.

I used to think O'Reilly had some decency and respect towards others, but i defintely think of him very differently now.

Fox News personalities are famous for feeding on Hatred and Propoganda 24/7, anyone who watches Fox News regulary is probaly suffering from ISLAMOPHOBIA and pretty much fear on eveything.

Frankly, this isnt 'Free speech' it's 'Hate Speech' and Joy Behar agrees.

What do you think?

Brian Kilmeade

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/10/15/brian-kilmeade-all-terror_n_764472.html

Fox News host Brian Kilmeade claimed Monday morning that "all terrorists are Muslims."

In a follow-up discussion to Bill O'Reilly's appearance on "The View" Thursday - in which Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar walked off the set after O'Reilly claimed "the Muslims killed us on 9/11" - the "Fox & Friends" co-host both dismissed the "View" debate as elementary and made the shocking claim.

WOW!!! This guy is even more Racist than O'Reilly.

GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT:

Timothy McVeigh

Andrew Joseph Stack III

Ted Kazinski

The Ku Klux Klan

Scott Roeder

Rev. Paul Hill

Hutaree Militia

Eric Robert Rudolph

Jim Adkisson

James Kopp

and alot alot more.....

Were all these terrorists Muslims? NO!

Get your facts right Brian, Stop spreading Lies and Propoganda!

Bigots like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity (The biggest Douche), Glenn Beck and the whole Fear Mongering Fox News Clan of Looneys are all narrow-minded idiots who have no facts behind their defence.

Eid Mubarak!

2 days ago, the Holy Month of Ramadan ended after 30 days, Now the Worldwide Muslim population of almost 2 Billion people are celebrating the Joyful holiday of EID-UL-FITR for 3 days!

WHAT IS 'EID-UL-FITR' AND HOW IS IT CELEBRATED?

Eid, meaning "happiness" or "feast" in Arabic, is one of the most important dates on the Muslim calendar.

Ramadan, which ended on Thursday night, marks the month in which the Quran was revealed to the Prophet Mohammed. Muslims observe a strict fast and participate in pious activities such as charitable giving and peace-making. It is a time of intense spiritual renewal for those who observe it. At the end of Ramadan, Muslims throughout the world observe a joyous three-day celebration called Eid al-Fitr (the Festival of Fast-Breaking).

Before the day of Eid, during the last few days of Ramadan, each Muslim family gives a determined amount as a donation to the poor. This donation is of actual food -- rice, barley, dates, rice, etc. -- to ensure that the needy can have a holiday meal and participate in the celebration.

On the day of Eid, Muslims gather early in the morning in outdoor locations or mosques to perform the Eid prayer. This consists of a sermon followed by a short congregational prayer.

After the Eid prayer, Muslims usually scatter to visit various family and friends, give gifts (especially to children), and make phone calls to distant relatives to give well-wishes for the holiday. These activities traditionally continue for three days. In most Muslim countries, the entire 3-day period is an official government/school holiday.

Today is the last day of Eid-ul-fitr and so far it's been incredible, The best bit is the big gatherings between family and friends, also the Massive Morning Prayer which is held in many various places from Parks to Mosques, to streets and other centers. And ofcourse how can not forget the Food and presents. FOOD FOOD FOOD, As im writing this Im so stuffed, So much delicious food and ofcourse the amazing tasting sweets which i havent stop eating. Combing everything, Eid and Ramadan is such a REFRESHING time! Smile LaughingSmile

PARK 51 >>>

'Sad Day For America' If Cultural Center near Gound Zero Plan Is Canceled - Michael Bloomberg, NY Mayor.

______________________________________________________

((UPDATED NEWS)) -- Scroll down

___________________________________________

Islamic Cultural Center (FOR GOD'S SAKE - IT'S NOT A MOSQUE!)

First let me begin by stating the real truth about this proposed building, It will be an inter-faith cultural center which will be open to EVERYONE from all faith's, it will include an auditorium, swimming pools, cafes, restaurants and alot more. There will be programs to educate people on Islam and there will obviously be prayer rooms and centers but It is not technically a Mosque.

And to honour all the victims of September 11th 2001 attacks, their will a Memorial site which will remember them.

While attending the Ramadan Dinner at the White House, President Obama threw his support for the center BUT he has been under attack from people who oppose it.

I can understand the emotions which are running high for some people but i have been seeing too much intolerance and propaganda being spread about Mosques and specifically this proposed Cultural center.

I have the upmost respect and admiration for those innocent victims lost on that catastrophic day, but why are Muslims being Shut out? like we are aliens of some sought - Let's not also forget - over 300 Muslims also died in the attacks. Aren't they considered innocent victims aswell?

I feel so very deeply saddended and heartbroken to see my religion under attack constantly, Islam stands for peace and equality for everyone. Propaganda and ignorance that is being continually spread about Islam is shocking.

I live in a mostly Anglo-Saxson area here in Sydney, the way me and my family are treated is depressing, I get Ridiculed, sneer at, disparaged, verbally abused, neglected and questioned continually about my religion and frankly i am absolutley sick and tired of this sought of attitude that surrounds me. I'm not trying to victimise myself here but this is the attitude i face and many other people face on a day to day basis.

Sometimes i feel like im not even a part of society even though i was born and raised here, it's extremely disheartening and disappointing.

Let's get it right here, most people who have such negative views of Islam are opinions based on ignorance, they educate themselves through the media who fill intolerance and misinformation constanly to uneducated people.

And i understand it goes both ways, we should all stick together, i just wish everyone would start respecting each other, talking to each other, understanding each other, our differences in Religion should not divide us from uniting.

Please understand, Islam is like nothing what you see on your screens, it doesnt stand for violence or anything that segregates people apart. There are to many misconceptions out there. Islam stands for peace, goodwill and harmony for everyone, Islam is very similar to other religions. There are over 2 billions Muslims worldwide (2nd biggest Religion) and growing continually, are we going to spread our intolerance and judge all the Muslim communites by what we hear and see in the Media and other outlets?

Do we judge Evangelical Christians by a very minor number of extreme Evangelical's who Bomb Abortion clinics, Now we don't and We should'nt. One thing i always keep in mind is never be judge or treat someone of the basis of their Culture, Colour, Religion and so fourth, it's just not right, always get to know someone and consider them with respect before judging them by their appearance.

THE REAL FACTS: Islam Already Lives Near Ground Zero and the Pentagon >>

In this Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2010 photo, seated next to portraits of her son Mohammad Salman Hamdani, who was 23 when he died attempting to save lives at the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, Talat Hamdani sits during an interview in New York.

The fact that Islam is already very much a part of the World Trade Center neighborhood. And that Muslims pray inside the Pentagon, too, less than 80 feet from where terrorists attacked. So the fact is Muslims are already praying near Ground Zero and the pentagon, so why all the hatred and intolerance now?

Protesters opposed to the center

A emotional Michael Boomberg and supporters of the center approve the way for the building.

Proposed plan for the community center.

____________________________________________________

.................................................................. MY OPINION

It's caused massive controversy and debate in the past months, But yesterday New York Mayor, Micheal Bloomberg approved the Islamic Community Center and Mosque to be built in Lower Manhattan, NY close to Ground Zero.

First let me begin with stating the propsed plan for this 13 story building is not only a mosque, it is a inter-faith Cultural Center which will be open to all people from all faiths, it will include a auditorium, swimming pools, cafes, prayer rooms and so on.

It will also include a Memorial site which remembers those who lost of their lives on that tragic day of September 11, 2001.

SO WHAT'S ALL THE FUSS?

Look, i'm going to be sensitive here, i can understand the emotions which are running high in the families of the victims of 9/11 and let's not forget multiple Muslims also died on that day, I have the up most respect for all the victims and families but this is not a threat.

I am a Muslim with Western and Islamic values, One thing i always in mind is to be tolerant, respectful and considerate towards eveyone and not judge someone by their race, religion or colour.

In my opinion this a question of freedom and Moving foward. Freedom should be flaunted in the US and around the world, not stripped away.

It would be exceptional to see people joined side by side from all races and walks of life and i think this a step into the right direction.

DO YOU THINK THIS ISLAMIC COMMUNITY CENTER SHOULD BE BUILT?

Thu, 17 Jun 2010 05:29:00 -0700 OUR 6 FAVOURITE 'FRIENDS' >> Where are they now? http://www.gamespot.com/users/abdullah2220/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25836260 WHERE ARE THEY NOW? >> THE CAST OF 'FRIENDS'!

Let's take a in-depth look on what the cast of the most popular sitcom 'Friends' have been up to since the show ended.

"Friends" made its mark in sitcom history, dominating television for a decade. But since the hit NBC show ended six years ago, most of the "Friends" ensemble has faced an uphill battle reaching the same pinnacle of success.

"'Friends' was a hit immediately," said Lisa Kudrow, who starred as Phoebe Buffay on the show. "It's almost like we kind of ruined it, in a way by hitting so fast, that that became the new standard."

The women of "Friends," including Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and Jennifer Aniston have cultivated noteworthy careers since the show ended, while their male co-stars, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry, appear to have had a harder time finding work and staying in the spotlight.

There has been speculation that the "Friends" cast will reunite on the big screen, but there is still no official deal. Until then, Let's take a look at what they've been doing since the show wrapped.

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

LISA KUDROW - 'Phoboe Buffay'

The quirkiest member of the "Friends" cast has followed her hunches in the years since the show went off the air.

Her latest gig is a comedy web series, where she plays Dr. Fiona Wallice, a psychiatrist who listens to exasperated people's neuroses in the three-minute, improvisational therapy sessions.

"People kept asking do you want to do a web series and my answer was no. Absolutely not. I don't want to do a web series. Why, would we want to do a web series? I don't understand the question," Kudrow said.

It seemed like a silly idea for an actress who spent 10 years at the pinnacle of sitcom success, but "Web Therapy," which started as a lark, now has an iPhone app, a best-comedy Webbie Award, and landed Kudrow a deal with Showtime.

Post-"Friends," Kudrow showed her range in a number of indie films. But it was her first foray back into comedy with the HBO series "The Comeback," that brought the biggest sting of her career.

Kudrow, who was also a writer and producer of the series, starred as a has-been sitcom star, trying for a comeback. Though she earned an Emmy nomination for her role, the series was cancelled after just one season.

"I didn't take it personally...I just felt injured that you have no control over perception and the perception was, 'Oh, so you failed. You tried to do your own series and it failed,'" Kudrow said.

But Kudrow has bounced back: "Web Therapy" is one example and the show "Who Do You Think You Are," which takes is a different celebrity on a journey to trace their roots each week, is another. Kudrow was so moved by the British version that she bought the rights, brought it to America, and set off on her own voyage of discovery, tracing her roots back to Belarus. She learned how her grandmother's village was destroyed by the Nazis and met long-lost relatives in Poland, who recognized her from "Friends."

"[My uncle's son] said, 'I can't believe Phoebe is in my living room and not on my TV,'" she said. "They didn't ask me to sing Smelly Cat, so that was nice."

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

JENNIFER ANISTON - 'Rachel Green'

Post-"Friends," Aniston has had her share of box office hits, "Marley & Me" and "The Break-Up," and romantic comedy misses, "He's Just Not That into You" and "Rumor Has It." She has successfully made the leap from the small to the big screen and has frequently made Forbes' lists for her fame and earnings.

There has been much buzz around her new movie, "Horrible Bosses," where Aniston will reportedly play a sex-crazed dentist -- a vast departure from her "Friends" character Rachel Green. Aniston's rep told People magazine that the role requires "an aggressive sexuality that many folks have not seen from Jennifer on screen before."

For Aniston, it's her personal life that has seemed to eclipse her professional life. Aniston, now 41, has made headlines for posing provocatively on the covers of magazines. When she appeared nude on the cover of GQ in January 2009, she told the magazine she feels more comfortable with herself now than in her 20s or early 30s. "I'm healthier. I'm more at peace in my mind and with my body," she said.

She also seems to have made peace with her breakup with Brad Pitt. After their five-year storybook marriage ended, Pitt began seeing Angelina Jolie. While Pitt and Jolie may or may not be ensconced in domestic bliss, with their six children, Aniston has been linked with several different men, including "Bounty Hunter" co-star Gerard Butler, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer, and model Paul Sculfor.

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

DAVID SCHWIMMER - 'Ross Gellar'

Schwimmer has spent much of the last six years out of the limelight, working with his small theater group, the Lookingglass, in Chicago and trying to launch a career as a movie director.

He has had limited success as a director. His 2007 film "Run, Fat Boy, Run," a British romantic comedy, bombed at the box office, but USA Today said Schwimmer possessed filmmaking finesse "having wisely chosen strong comic material for his debut behind the camera." He also reportedly met his soon to be wife during the making of the film.

In front of the camera, Schwimmer, 43, hasn't seen much action besides guest starring roles on "30 Rock" and "Entourage," where he played himself. Ironically, in the "Entourage" episode, agent Ari Gold tries to steer his career back to television.

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

MATTHEW PERRY - 'Chandler Bing'

Perry, 40, has been unable to find his groove since playing Chandler on the hit sitcom.

His attempts to repeat his "Friends" success on the small screen have fallen flat. His 2006 series "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" was dropped by NBC after the first season because of poor ratings. Last year, he tried again to return to television as a radio talk show host in "The End of Steve," but the dark comedy was scrapped after just one episode.

Perry has had equally bad luck on the big screen. In his first film role after "Friends," Perry played a man a chronically depressed man in the 2007 movie "Numb." The film flopped at the box office. His most recent role in "17 Again" was better received, but he played second banana to star Zac Efron.

In the past, Perry has admitted to struggles with depression and alcohol and prescription drug addiction. Production on 2002's "Serving Sara" had to be shut down for three months while Perry checked into rehab.

"Your consciousness has to change and, I was very lucky and smart enough to realize that at that moment, it was life and death time, and movies, acting, dating, sports and everything just have to take a sideline to this," he told Film Monthly at the time.

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

COURTENEY COX - 'Monica Gellar'

Cox, 45, turned her focus to family following the end of "Friends."

After trying for so long to conceive, she was finally pregnant with daughter Coco when "Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry wanted to cast her as Susan. The role went instead to Teri Hatcher.

A few years later, in 2007, she launched her comeback playing a tabloid editor in the FX sitcom "Dirt," which she and husband David Arquette produced. The show was canceled after the second season because of poor ratings. A long guest appearance on the NBC series "Scrubs" led to Cox's current role as a 40-something divorced real estate agent re-entering the dating scene in ABC's "Cougar Town."

"I think Courteney Cox is great at playing the comedy of discomfort," executive producer Bill Lawrence said.

Lawrence, who also produced "Scrubs," approached Cox with the sitcom after he heard through the grapevine that she was looking to do comedy again. "She's a fearless comedian."

Apparently, the role couldn't have come at a better time. According to the Daily Mail, Cox had applied for a license to work as a real estate agent in real life too. With the series off to a good start, Cox has intimated that she'd like to have more children. "We're not trying yet. We're revving up the engines," she told OK magazine. "I'm only ready 'cause time's a-ticking."

In a recent interview, Cox said that she would love to reunite the "Friends" cast on the big screen, but is doubtful a movie would pan out.

"I wish we could do that with 'Friends,'" Cox said. "I don't think it's going to happen...a lot of things would have to break just right for it to work. But we've daydreamed about it."

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

MATT LeBLANC - 'Joey Tribbiani'

After his ill-fated "Friends" spin-off "Joey" was cancelled after one season in 2006, LeBlanc, now 42, had few callers. Four years later, he has finally landed a role on "Episodes," a new Showtime comedy series created by one of the producers of "Friends."

In the new series that spoofs the TV business, LeBlanc will play a version of himself.

"I am so glad I got the part," LeBlanc told The Hollywood Reporter. "Seeing someone else play Matt LeBlanc would have been devastating."

Even so, it hasn't been easy being LeBlanc lately. His marriage to British model Melissa McKnight failed around the time "Joey" did. According to People magazine, the couple was dealing with daughter Marina suffering seizures shortly after birth until she was 2. Then as the couple's third anniversary approached, LeBlanc suddenly moved out and began seeing his "Joey" co-star Andrea Anders.

abcnews.com

_____________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________

Well, it's looks like the female stars of 'Friends' are still hitting it big time in the small screen and the big screen but it's not the same for male stars.

Matt LeBlanc has been the unluckiest in scoring roles since 'Friends' but hopefully we will see all of them back in the Big Screen, i hope all these speculations are true, the stars have mentioned that they want the movie to happen, hopefully it happens.

Still my no.1 show and the re-runs are not going anywhere!

_______________________________________________________DEBATE

.......................................'BURQA / NIQAB BAN' - FREEDOM DEBATE?

Recently, Politicians and officials have sparked debate and controversy around Europe and other parts of the world to ban the 'Burqa' and the 'Niqab' in public.

In Belgium, the ban has gone through and in France the debate is still raging as French president Nicola Sarkozy said, 'The Burqa is not welcomed in France'.

In 2004, France and Turkey banned the Muslim head scarf (Hijab) and all typed of religious symbol's in schools and colleges. With France having the highest population of Muslims in Europe, Is this the right moves?

Recently in Italy, a woman for was fined for wearing a 'Niqab' in public.

____________________________________________________________________

................................ ......................... ...MY VIEWS>>>

A Politician or anyone else should not have the right to ask someone to be stripped of their freedom, We live in a Liberal society and Freedom should be flaunted around the world, not Questioned.

-- If these types of barbaric laws continue, It will only shut out the Muslim Community even more than now.

It's imperceptive - These laws will only Segregate the Muslim community even more than now and by the looks of it, that's what these laws will do.

It's like banning the 'Habit' (Catholic veil), Jewish 'Kippah' and so forth, Are we also going to ban these types of religious clothing aswell? Does that stand for Freedom? - NO!

I know a woman who wears the 'Niqab', She is extremely concerned where these debates in Australia will lead to, She's not married nor she has not been forced to wear it, It was her own personal choice.

If a woman made a decision to wear the Burqa/Niqab of her own personal choice and that makes her feel comfortable, Then how does that effect anyone, why should people have to question her, i dont care if someone wants to dress like 'Captain Kirk' or whatever, It shouldnt concern us. It's Quite ignorant.

If a woman in France is allowed to sunbake in the nude with NO law against that, then why should'nt another woman be allowed to dress the way she feels comfortable.

____________________________________________________________________

............................................................... YOUR SAY>>>

WHAT DO YOU THINK? IF YOU HAVE ANY CONCERNS, DON'T BE AFRAID - PLEASE EXPRESS THEM!

_____________________________________________________________________

_____________________________________________________________________

TYPES OF TRADITIONAL HEADSCARVES>>>>

HIJAB:

The word hijab comes from the Arabic for veil and is used to describe the headscarves worn by Muslim women. These scarves come in a myriad and colours. The type most commonly worn in the West is a square scarf that covers the head and neck but leaves the face clear.

AL-AMIRA:

The al-amira is a two-piece veil. It consists of a close fitting cap, usually made from cotton or polyester, and an accompanying tube-like scarf.

SHAYLA:

The shayla is a long, rectangular scarf popular in the Gulf region. It is wrapped around the head and tucked or pinned in place at the shoulders.

KHIMAR:

The khimar is a long, cape-like veil that hangs down to just above the waist. It covers the hair, neck and shoulders completely, but leaves the face clear.

CHADOR:

The chador, worn by many Iranian women when outside the house, is a full-body cloak. It is often accompanied by a smaller headscarf underneath.

NIQAB:

The niqab is a veil for the face that leaves the area around the eyes clear. However, it may be worn with a separate eye veil. It is worn with an accompanying headscarf.

BURQA:

The burqa is the most concealing of all veils. It covers the entire face and body, leaving just a mesh screen to see through.

In Islam, it states that a woman should dress modestly and encourages the Hijab.

--- To clarify: The 'Burqa' and the 'Niqab' are not mentioned in the Quran, it just a form of clothing that was developed in the Middle East Centurie's ago, it is no means a form of religious clothing.

Thu, 11 Mar 2010 14:35:48 -0800 NOT SO PRECIOUS >> Howard Stern's vicious attack! http://www.gamespot.com/users/abdullah2220/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-25803590 GONE TOO FAR?

He's earned a living attacking people in some of the most vicous ways but One of America's most popular Radio presenters, Howard Stern has simply gone too far launching a sickening attack on Oscar nominated actress and star in the film "Precious", Gabourey Sidibe.

Quote:

"There's the most enormous, fat black chick I've ever seen. She is enormous. Everyone's pretending she's a part of show business and she's never going to be in another movie," he said

"And Oprah's lying and saying you're going to have a brilliant career," said Robin.

"Oprah's another liar, a filthy liar," said Stern. "She's telling an enormous woman the size of a planet that she's going to have a career."

But he doesnt stop their, he goes on bullying this amazing and talented actress that has won the hearts of many people.

BUT THE LAST LAUGH IS ON STERN - It looks like Gabby will prove Stern wrong. She is lined up to appear on the new Showtime series 'The C Word' and her next big-screen appearance will be opposite Zoe Kravitz in the drama 'Yelling to the Sky.'

A messege Howard Stern - You should hang your head in shame, Apoligize and next time think before you open that big mouth of yours because you really have hurt alot of people.

((( MY THOUGHTS )))

I was quite surprised to see 'The Hurt Locker' win best picture, i dont think it deserved 6 awards especially for Best Picture, Avatar was my pick.

For Best Actor, Jeff Bridges deserved it all the way, he was brilliant in 'Crazy Heart' and Sandra Bullock was my pick and she won it finally!

Overall, An excellent Academy Awards, one of the best presentations i've seen, Excellent hosting by funnymen Alec Balwin and Steve Martin! They were hilarious!
