In the meantime, I have been reading through Tom Clancy's novels in chronological order. Currently on "The Sum of All Fears" after finishing "Clear and Present Danger." "Clear and Present Danger" was possibly my favorite Tom Clancy novel following Rainbow Six. I also read through the "Mistborn" series, which is written by Brandon Sanderson. I highly recommend that series, it provides a unique science fiction world and engaging characters. Also, I'd recommend "The Passage" written by Justin Cronin. "The Passage" represents a science fiction world that involves condemned criminals that turn into vampirish beasts that ultimately ruin the world.

Lately everyones been talking about the movie "Avatar". It seems interesting, but after hearing the insane cost it was to make the movie it seems destined to flop hardcore. What I don't like is how all these movies are starting to push the 3D crap on customers. I personally can't stand 3D movies, they kill my eyes and produce bad headaches due to my astigmatism in addition to other eye related failures associated with my eyes. It's disappointing when I want to go see movies such as "Up", "Coraline", etc are in 3D and I can't go watch them.

Anyway, otherwise I've been working roughly 8 hours a week at a holiday job at Macy's. It's a super easy job, and the nights go fast during 4 hour shifts. My last final is Thursday and I'll finally have some time to relax for a while until next semesters hellish schedule.

I was at my friends house watching the Penguins win the Stanley Cup a while ago. Been busy failing organic chemistry to have time to blog about it. Should've took the ****during the regular semester but oh well I'll worry about it after next semester. Haven't really been doing much, just sitting around the house or doing chores. I plan on creating some new video game reviews, with World of Warcraft being on of the new ones I just made.

On a sports note, I watched the Penguins defeat the Capitals yesterday at home. My man Manny Ramirez is a cheater. The Pittsburgh Pirates are still a mediocre team. Might go down to a Pirate game sometime in the next couple of weeks. I really need to see another Pens game in person. The last time I went to a game was back when Martin Straka and Alexi Kovalev were still on the team. I also found it amusing during the Philly vs Pens series that everyone kept mentioning back in the 90s when Darius Kasparitus injured Lindros. It's amusing because I was at that game, sitting about halfway up in the first section on the side of the boards where Lindros got destroyed.

Also I came back to my room today to find everything cleaned up. It seems my roomate got motivation and cleaned stuff, at first I thought somone broke into my room and robbed me. So I logged onto World of Warcraft and played for about an hour and a half before I realized that my fridge was off. So much for eating that frozen pasta meal I had been craving all day.

I've been busy this semester trying to improve my grades. I'm doing better in all my classes except Chem again. I'm struggling in Chem for whatever reason. I'll be taking two organic chemistry classes over the summer and I'll be looking for a job around the area this weekend. I'm thinking about trying Lowes, Home Depot, Kmart, or something else.

I haven't been home to go on my Xbox for like the past 4 weeks. However, I'm heading home this weekend although I'll be busy studying for a Bio exam and a Chem retake exam.

In addition to hockey, I went home to watch the Daytona 500 last weekend. My obersvation: Dale Jr. drove like a moron, red flagging was lame, I'm glad Logano wrecked (tired of everyone talking about him during the race), and Tony Stewart is still fat. I'm in third place on my fantasy nascar league, woopie.

I'll probably be renting or purchasing Left 4 Dead. I've been dying to play the game simply watching gameplay videos on youtube. If you want to play Left 4 Dead with me send my gamertag, FrigidFire22, a message.School is going so much better this semester. All of my classes are more enjoyable and slightly easier. When I'm not studying I'm here playing Warcraft 3 TFT, Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, or World of Warcraft (I think I'm gooing to get another subscription card since I miss playing).

Now for Updates About Me

I've been busy with school. Celebrated my 5th anniversary here on gamespot with a private party, which consisted of me, myself, and the voices in my head. I'm almost to level 45. Purchased Gears of War 2, the game is alright. I'm a little disappointed with EPIC, and it seems that I won't be purchasing another game from them after experiencing the lag tastic glitch filled Gears of War 2. And to top it all off, EPIC goes and slaps us on the face by charging us for a map pack before they've even patched the game. There's no way I'm paying $10 for 3 maps when they should've been free to begin with and they come out for a broken game.

On a side sports note involving the Pittsburgh Penguins, I don't think they'll make it to the stanely cup this year. Sure I could be wrong and Fluery is coming back from injury, however we have no defense and the offense isn't performing. The Penguins just can't survive on Crosby and Malkin alone. Sykora, Satan, and Fedetenko need to start picking up their weight and perform like they were supposed to. Our defense men need to start hitting people in the front of their net too. How many times are they going to let easy goals in from the paint? Feel free to discuss.

The game went into extra innings and it didn't seem like it was ever going to end. Here's the time when it ended:

As I'm writing this now I've reached 5,000 posts. It's taken me over 5 years to reach this mini-milestone, but I've been increasing my post count within the past couple months. I might pick up Battlefield Bad Company tomorrow, the demo was alright, but compared to past Battlefield games it didn't seem as fun. Sure destroying the environment is fun, but the rest of the game just seems odd. Anyway, the weather in western PA has been rather stormy and cold lately. I was surprised that the Pirate game was as nice as it was considering it had been storming pretty much that entire day. Speaking of storms, I better cut this update short before the thunderstorm outside cuts off my power again. Keep in touch guys.

Anyway enough of my rant, here's some updates about what I've been doing lately. I'm now a Sophmore in college, my gpa my first semester was 3.1 and, the second semester gpa went up to a 3.42, so my overall gpa for the year is somewhere around 3.2 something. I'm currently taking 6 credits of spanish this summer so I can get that lousy language requirement out of the way. Other than that I don't really have much of a social life since I have to go to work right after class. I purchased my Sony camera a while back and overall I'm happy with it. I'll have to upload some pictures of the project we are doing to fix our basement so it isn't caving in. I'll try to be a little more active over the next few weeks so feel free to hit me up with some messages.
