I caught a big one in a box and now I'm trying to figure how to kill it, deoderant doesn't seem to work, although it is now probably the freshest smelling spider I've ever known.

I also tried burning out the oxygen in the box with a candle, but with such a slow metabolism, I think it may take some time. Any ideas?

I would not make a very good Australian.

Update: Airborne insecticides also seem ineffective

Update 2: After prolonged exposure to insecticide, the spider appears to be on his death bed, he's belly up and twitching. I would have rather he just suffocated, but what must be done must be done.

Update 3: R.I.P. Steve the spider, I gave him an appropriate funeral. Out the window. It's what he would have wanted.

I finally got to rank 100,

I'm feeling rather chuffed, there's not many rank 100s out there, and so will take it upon myself to prove it to you

Didn't take too long, luckily I got most of it done when the exp. gained was around 30% more than it is now, the hardest bit was putting up with all the damn sawn-off shotguns.

So anyway, now that's all done, I should be able to post more, especially at the union, which I have been neglecting

Sorry lol.

However..........................I may not be around for about a week or so (starting now) since I may be away from my computer. This is especially annopying since I have not yet seen the new episode of MLP:FiM, and I probably wont get to until some time next week. I will try to blag another computer and post, but nothing can be guaranteed.

tl;dr: Gears 3, and I may not be around for about a week

Hit prestige 3 this weekend. But the real bunch of bananas for the week would be my computer crashing (again )

Another hard drive failure, I lost almost everything from the last six months. (since I had a Drive image made just in case, after the last failure I vowed to keep it up to date )

So I backed that up to one of the secondary HDDs that I have inside my machine. I slapped it over my linux install which I don't really use that much.

I still lost about 100 gigs though. and various pieces of software. Including MS office which I had just installed. ( I hope to god Office registers the software intelligently via identifying CPU serial number. Otherwise I will have lost one of my office licences, which I had plans for >_>

All of this at a time when I am drowning in overdue coursework.

Got to major grade 2, and played the hell outa firefight. ooh the boosting

But it just doesn't hold me. Forge world is great and all that, but there is nothing to make anymore, there is no real challenge to making anything and it all ends up as making castles on top of hills

As for matchmaking, well, I am not a fan of the DMR, much prefer the BR, the Magnum is OP. Along with the Energy sword + sprint.

Without skulls to hunt the single player is kinda dull, legendary wasn't absurdly hard and I had that done in < 10 hours.

I should be doing coursework but its kinda sucked the life outa me. I don't know what to play now, and I am really not enjoying call of duty: modern BS 2 (ohhh. the puns) So now I am looking to the future. And decided to check out some gameplay/previews.

First I took a quick peek at some black ops stuff. I'm reasonably exited. I like the no stopping power. the added recoil. and the more old school feel it seems to have. I am slightly woried however about

-the rc car being ridiculously OP and annoying

-Explosives (oh dear god theres so many)

-Balistic knife (fast travel time, very little drop)

-Lightwieght (why oh why oh why bring it back. this perk completely ruined search and destroy)

Its things like this, specifically the explosives i.e. "noobtubes" that worry me. If Treyarch/IW REALLY cared about there community they would have taken them out long ago. The opinion of them is almost universally negative...yet still they persist to exist IAS though They have no place in this COD. Unless of course (however ridiculously unlikely it is) They make the tubes balanced like in BF:BC(1/2)

But I doubt that

All I need from black Ops is for it to occupy me for 1 whole year. maybe with a teensy gap inbetween for GR:future soldier.

But why a year? I hear you ask. Oh, well, because in a years time Gears of war 3 will be released, thats why.

If THIS isn't enough to make you want to sell your soul for this game then...you are the spawn of satan. Thats right. I said it.

The guys at EPIC are undoubtedly some of the best devs out there. Sadly, the game was delayed by MS (due to a want to spread out exclusives) But that means a beta (I WILL KILL TO BE IN THE BETA......WHO IS THE TARGET h , which means a smooth initial launch. (which is far more than I can predict for black Ops)

Everything about this game seems so refined, so perfect. with rpg elements etc. and some of the prettiest visuals I have seen on any console or PC game for that matter. Although graphics themselves are limited by the 360, the visual s-t-y-l-e is beautiful and incorperating more and more colour (not like the ol' greys of war)

I honestly can't even describe how awesome it is, you'll have to just see for yourself. All I need is for Black Ops and others to keep me busy FOR A WHOLE GODDAMN YEAR
