Anyway, I bet your wondering what I mean by the topic. I want to see this movie called Number 23. It looks amazing. My brother said it is the best movie he has ever seen. However, back to the topic. I can prove that "What to do." is a sign of 23. "What" has 4 letters in it. 4 times 2 ("to" has 2 letters in it) is 8. 8 times 2 ("do" has two letters in it) is 16. 16 plus 8 ("What to do" has 8 letters in it) is 24. 24 minus 1 (minus 1 for the period) is 23! This is real! Go ahead... Tell yourself it's just a number.

1- Own one system from each Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo (handheld counts)

2- Own at least one handheld from Nintendo (come on... if you don't have at least a Gameboy, that's sad)

3- Have thought about at least one idea for a game that you would like to design

4- Have a Gamespot account (If you don't have one... All I have to say to you is "GET OFF" or "GET ONE")

5- Have at least one Next-Gen system

6- Have gone out and bought a game one of the first days it came out, or have pre-ordered a game before (I pre-ordered Halo 3 a loooooooooong time ago... I can't wait till I get it!)

7- Own at least one of the four games that have scored a perfect 10.0 on Gamespot (Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2, Soul Caliber, or Chrono Chross)

8- Have beaten a game in less than one day (Mario 64 for me... it took me about 3 hours)

9- Have played Halo or Halo 2. (Sure... why not... I'll count Halo 3...... If you've already played Halo 3, then you deserve a big, giant, kick-awesome medal)

10- Have played a game (sometime in your life... it doesn't matter when) that has taken you aver a year to beat. (When I was about 6-8 years old, it took me over a year to beat the following games: Donkey Kong Country, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario 64, Donkey Kong 64... It's hard to believe that I can now beat them in a couple hours or days)

11- Have completely owned in a classic game (When I used to play these games when I was little, I owned in them all. I don't mean to brag, but I was really good. I would love to see how well I can play them now, but I do not own them anymore in an unfortunate accident due to one of my siblings. The games are: Super Mario World [SNES], and Battle Clash [SNES and Super Scope attatchment])

12- If you own a Mario game (If you don't own a Mario game, then you don't deserve to live)

IDEAS

        Many fans were excited to hear that Bungie officially announced that there will be an ATV (Mongoose) in Halo 3. This vehicle was supposed to make an appearance in Halo 2, but things just didn't seem to work with the overall gameplay. Now, gamers everywhere are coming up with their own rediculous ideas for Halo 3. For example: playable Hunter (multiplayer only), playable grunts (why in the world would you want to do that?!), and interactive prophet chairs (.... why?... don't ask me). None of these ideas are even worth explaining. They are just flat out dumb. I admit, I have thought about some ideas too, but just leave it to the creators at Bungie. I'm sure anything that they will come up with will be a hundred times better (if not a million) than any mindless ideas that obsessed fans have to offer.

RUMORS

        There have been so many rumors about Halo 3. I don't think anyone could even count the number of rumors spilled out of the minds of morons. I know the anticipation is killing you, but just quit making pointless rumors that you spent all night thinking of. For example: The "X" button rumor. This is probably the biggest and most annoying rumor of all. The button was used in the past installments of Halo for interacting with the invironment around you (weapons, vehicles, etc.). Now the developers are saying that the "X" button will serve a new purpose. There have been a few logical rumors for its function, but most of them have just caused anguish to the many fans who are patient enough to just wait and see. Another ongoing rumor is the Arbiter. In Halo 2, there was a seperate  story line in about half of the levels as you played as the Arbiter. Many fans disliked these parts of the campaign. Most gamers didn't want to be separated from their favorite spartan. Some people are worried that we will play as the Arbiter again. I'm sure that Bungie will make it a whole lot better this time around if they do decide to keep that role in the game. Again, just be patient.

DEMANDS

        Well... I think I'll just have to quote this one for ya. "Release the game sooner!" Why in the world would players want Bungie to release the game sooner. If the developers released it sooner, they would screw the game up again. Now, I'm not saying that Halo 2 was bad, but I am saying that it was very disappointing. The game could have been a lot better. The developers even said it themselves. Halo 3 is a game that should take a long time. This is the game that will either make the franchise historic, or a tremendous failure. Halo 3 has some major competition on the 360 now. Gears of War was a lot better than a lot of people expected. Bungie has a whole new opponent. Epic Games has prooved that they can make terrific games.

        Overall, I think this game is going to be a huge success. Bungie know that they have a lot of eager fans awaiting the arrival of this legendary game. We need to ease off the pressure. Just be patient and the game will turn out better than you will ever expect.

The trailer starts out with two kids lying in the grass looking up at the stars. Who are they? Well, the boy is John. John is Master Chief, for those of you who have not read the novels. Yes, that is the first picture anyone has ever seen of Master Chief without his armor. But who is the girl? The girl is one of John's friends. Again, that is information from you can only find from the novel. They ask the question, "Do you think we'll ever meet them?" "Them" refers to the covenant, but they don't know that. After their short chat, John looks over only to see that his friend is missing, but in her place is his MIV helmet (his new helmet). He hears a scream from his friend in his head. Her scream refers to her death. John's friend had died in the past. A wraith had fired a shot which blew up near him as he was still lying on the ground. John looks at his hand to find that he is now wearing his new armor. He picks up his helmet and puts it on to prepare for battle. Ever since he saw the helmet, the trailer had switched to a first person view of Master Chief. Once he puts on his helmet it returns to third person. Most people are confused about that whole first part of the trailer. It was all a flashback, which brings up the question, "Why did he have that flashback in the middle of the battle?" Well, after he puts on his helmet, he sees his assault rifle and picks it back up and straps it on his back. That shows that there will be a new feature (some of you might already know about this). You will be able to see the players second weapon strapped on his back. If it's a small weapon like an SMG or a pistol, it will be strapped to the side of your left leg. Anyway, back to the trailer. When he picks up his rifle, you see a dismantled warthog in the background. Master Chief, most likely, was blown off his warthog by a wraith's shot, which must have put him into a quick, temporary unconscious state. The blast from the shot must have knocked off his helmet, which is why he finds it later. After he stands up, the camera zooms in for a close-up on Master Chief's face (not real face... it's with his helmet on). You can see the wraith shots in the sky from the reflection off his visor. That indicates the real time reflection you will see in the game. He pulls out some sort of device which looks like a new type of human or possibley covenant grenade. He throws it on the ground right in front of his feet. It sticks on the ground and activates a shield around Master Chief which protects him from the oncoming wraith shot which blows away the new ATV (Mongoose) that will be in the game. But wait! What's that?! If you look at the pistol that Master Chief is holding, (it's not very close, but it's close enough to see some familiar qualities) it looks very similiar to Halo 1's unusually strong, but stunning and popular pistol. It looks like it had the same barrel, mussel, and a small glimpse of an extended clip that the Halo 1 pistol had. Could it make a comback? We can't really tell from just the trailer. Anyway, bakc to the trailer again. Master Chief's force field deactivates as soon as the aftermath of the shot was over. He straps his pistol on to his leg and takes off into a SPRINT!!!! This could be what the X button might do in Halo 3. The X button (as some of you might know) holds no purpose as of right now, but Bungie said it will not release that way. We have all seen Master Chief run, but we have never seen him sprint. He was running at full speed, and there was no stopping him or getting in his way. The sprint mode might be something like the Gears of War sprint. It would be an amazing new feature. Anyway, he sprinted into the battle field to come to a short cliff. He jumped off the cliff (about a 20 foot drop) into a sea of brutes and wraiths. The brutes had armor on though. We've seen some with a little tiny bit of armor on, but they had tons of armor on this time around. But the thing that confused a lot of people was that all of the brutes and wraiths and brutes had dived and moved out of the way of Master Chief. They must have finally figured out that he is a force to be reckoned with. However, there was one brute in the middle of the pack that stood his ground. He was wearing almost full body armor and he had a hammer just like Tartarus! It is not Tartarus if that's what you're thinking though. It is someone else. He also had a helmet on that had a red mohawk on it. A mokawk which strangely looked liked Tartarus' mohawk. The trailer ended before Master Chief landed, so we did not get to see the ending of the battle. In the background, (I forgot to mention this) there was a storm cloud with a circular rotating gap in it, just like the storm cloud above the Ark in the first Halo 3 trailer. I assume they were very close to the Ark. There is one giant question that has spawned in my mind after I saw the trailer though. Where are the elites? There were none in the trailer at all. The Prophets must still only trust the brutes. That is all the information I could squeeze out of the trailer. I hope you found it of mush use. Thank you for reading my longest blog.
