Taking Care of a Baby Simulator

Hey guys! For Child Studies, I'm taking care of a baby simulator from today till Wednesday morning. It was either this or do an alternative assignment. The alternative assignment consisted of doing interviews and stuff, and this sounded so much easier. This would be a good way to learn what being a parent could be like, and I'm hoping to be a parent someday. Has anyone else ever done this? If so, I would love it if you shared your experience . I will share mine sometime later this week or so.

I would say this Christmas, as far as presents go, was quite a bit better than last year's. I got:

$50 Gift Card to Wal-Mart

$50 Gift Card to Future Shop

$50 Gift Card to GameStop

I've already spent most of my Future Shop gift card (I got about $15.50 left on it). I bought the Monster Hunter Tri Bundle for $20, and I bought Metroid: Other M for $10. Really awesome deals . With the Wii Points Card, I bought Cave Story and Driift Mania. They're really good games . When I registered Metroid: Other M on my Club Nintendo account, I got 50 coins, and enough coins to buy Super Mario Kart. Man, I've gotten 5 games so far since Christmas . I can't wait to spend the rest of my gift cards .

Finally Got my New Wii!

I just got my new Wii last night, and I love it. I'm finally able to catch up on the games I've missed out on. The only thing is that I got the newer Wii, which means I can't play my gamecube games, or use my gamecube controllers . If I want to download N64 games, I gotta go buy a Classic Controller. I'll live though lol. I will later add my new Wii number and put up friend codes for any games I have in this blog post.

Doesn't seem so bad, especially compared to last year. The only bad thing here is Chain Letter (which I heard really sucks). I'm pleased with my gifts , especially GTAIV .

Well I gotta start Fable III all over again.Sigh.

I beat Fable III and I had almost 20 hours put into it,only to run into a game breaking glitch.It was the glitch at the end of the side quest "Gone But Not Forgotten".Basically the glitch is that one of the characters may not show up,and you can't complete the quest,nor can you leave the quest and fast travel somewhere else.So you're stuck there and you can't do anything about it.I love the Fable games,but this is just unacceptable.I am pretty pissed about this,although it's not as frustrating as my memory card corrupting my GTA San Andreas save file(it only corrupted mine,no one else's).Still,this is unacceptable in this day and age,and it bothers me how they fixed a bunch of little glitches,but haven't bothered to fix this game breaking glitch.If you want more info on the glitch, here's the link http://fable.wikia.com/wiki/Gone_But_Not_Forgotten.

Hopefully this gets patched.If I do this quest again,I'll be sure to save before getting to this part.

Finally got a new Xbox 360 :).

Our previous Xbox 360 got a corrupted hard drive,and we don't know whether it was the hard drive or the 360,so we bought the new Xbox 360.I think the improvements are very nice,and it came with five games(one of which we already have).It also has a 250gb hard drive.The games were Fable III,Halo 3,Halo Wars,Gears of War 2,and Alan Wake.We have to download the games,which is unfortunate because our internet is slow,so it can take a day to just download one game.If anyone wants to add me,my gamertag is residentWii.I can't play online since I don't have Xbox Live Gold,but I can chat and such if you want .

My Top 3 Anticipated Wii Games of 2010

1. Metroid:Other M-I've loved every Metroid game I've played,and this looks to be pretty epic and awesome.

2. Conduit 2-Sounds like it's going to be much better than the first game.Of course I haven't played the first game yet.Hopefully it lives up.

3. Goldeneye-Looks a lot like Call of Duty,which I don't mind,cause I like Call of Duty.The shooting also looks intense and fun.

My Thoughts on the WiiWare Demos

It's about time Nintendo put some sort of demo service on the Wii and some WiiWare demos are a good start. They currently have Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles:My Life as a Darklord, World of Goo, Pokemon Rumble, Bit.Trip Beat and NyxQuest Kindred Spirits. I'm gonna post my thoughts of the demos

FFCC:MLaaD: At first I didn't think I was gonna like it after the first level, but after a few more levels, I really started to enjoy it. Sure it started off slow, but it got fun and I wanted to keep playing. It lasted like 4 or 5 levels which is a good enough length to get a taste of what the game has to offer. I plan on getting this sometime. Blocks=269

World of Goo: I loved it, it had like 6 or 7 levels to try which is good. I loved it and I'm going to get it soon. Blocks=165

Pokemon Rumble: I didn't know what to expect from the game,I thought it was going to be a repetitive beat 'em up which it is, but it's also fun and addictive. I think 1500 Wii Points sounds like a good price for the full game. The demo lasts until you get a Pokemon that has 100 power which I got after playing 3 stages. There's also multiplayer in the demo and there's a good variety of Pokemon in the demo. Blocks=187

Bit.Trip Beat: You get a good taste from this demo. You keep playing until you finish like half of the first song or until you lose. It's challenging and fun, I'm going to get this and it's only 600 Wii Points. Blocks=165

NyxQuest Kindred Spirits: If you loved Lostwinds, then you'll probably love NyxQuest, I haven't played Lostwinds yet, but I'll probably love it as well. I loved this, it looked stunning, had nice pleasant music, flawless controls and tight gameplay. The slow gameplay may turn off some people, but I didn't mind it at all. It was one level long and I wanted to keep playing. Fortunately, it's only 1000 Wii Points and I will be getting this. Blocks=224

I just beat Onslaught on Ultra, it was actually pretty easy . You just had to be careful not to get hit cause you die in a couple hits on Ultra.I also now have all the weapons unlocked. So feel free to comment.
