WWE Programming...

So, after like 5 years of not watching any WWE programming, I decided to watch an episode of Raw on Youtube a couple of months ago. I think that was a horrible decision, as I now can't not watch an episode when it's on TV. Which is funny, because I don't particularly like WWE.

I hate fitness tests!

So, just remembered that I have a fitness test at the end of July for a rugby refereeing course that I was invited to. What I need to do for the said fitness test is get to level 8 in a beep test. Yeah, that's pretty easy you may say, but I SUCK at beep tests. The last one I did was about 6 years ago, and I wasn't all that great then. Oh well, time to get running, and running, and running.

Don't you just hate it when you're hungry and there is absolutely nothing good to eat in your house? This has happened to me several times and I honestly don't know where all my food goes. I'm sure I don't eat it all. I think there are little fairies that come in at night and snatch everything and leave the cheese. Like seriously, that's all there is. Cheese. Urgh.

Well, E3 is over, and I've enjoyed sitting on my computer seat like a potato and watching the E3 coverage here. Apart from a few streaming problems here and there, I think it was really good. Now, should I stay, or go? Hmm, I guess I'll stay a little longer.

So, I'm no where close to being as active on this site as I once was but I always find myself back on it for the E3 coverage. Guess it's that good, eh? Oh well, no different this year. Unfortunately, I'll miss a couple of the press conferences today (Microsoft being the main one I'll miss). Guess I'll just have to watch them later.

Finally got a Turtle Beach X1 headset.

Yeah, that's right, I was sitting at home yesterday infront of my TV with that crappy 360 communicator headset on and thought "Why haven't I got a Turtle Beach headset yet?". I've been thinking about buying a pair of X1's (because I didn't want to fork out the money for X3's or X4's, the former being a wireless version of the X1's) for quite a while now but haven't actually took out the money to buy a pair, until today.

So, I took the headset home, and I must say, the damn thing is overpackaged. I took a good 20 minutes trying to rip, bite, and cut my way through the plastic to get to the headset, which is diabolical. It shouldn't take that long. Once I got the thing out, the set-up was quick and easy. The thing does come with an instruction leaflet but if you use your common sense and glance at the diagram on the back of the packaging, then you'll find no need for the leaflet. After hooking it up, turning Call of Duty 4 on and entering into a Multiplayer game, I was impressed with the X1's. When you first hear the sound that comes out of the thing, it will sound weird, mainly because it amplifies the bass quite a lot which is a shock at first. The bass boost also affects the LIVE chat, which is mixed with the in-game sound. Speaking of in-game sound, you can hear everything. That's all I'm going to say. Lol.

So, all and all, I'm happy that I bought a pair of Turtle Beach X1's simple because they're amazing. Here's hoping they don't break for a while.

P.S - If any of that doesn't make sense, I was eating at the time of typing. It's very hard to eat, and think at the same time. Also, I realise I use the word "thing" a lot, I'll try to not use it as much in future blogs. XD

CoD4's Multiplayer ****

Over the past week, I've constantly experienced this:-

- Reverse Spwan Killing
- Everyone on the other team using an M16
- Frag x3 and random frag kills
...and more.

Now, okay, these things are common in the game, but I have experienced so many faults this past week it's getting to the point where I cannot stand the game. I used to love CoD4's multiplayer, but now I hate it....*Abrupt end*

It's Hot and Sunny Outside? Something's Not Right!

I have a feeling something really bad's going to happen weather wise soon. It's been hot and sunny (almost) all over the UK for the past couple of days and that makes me wonder weather this is an omen for something that's coming or whether the MET Office has got its August prediction completely wrong (like their July one). Part of me wants the hot and sunny weather to stay for the rest of the summer, another part of me wants the hot and sunny weather to disappear and be replaced by rain. Apart from the other two parts, there's always one part of me that doesn't really care and will take any weather. We'll see what happens over the next weeks or so.

Anyway, haven't done much gaming wise except play CoD4 on LIVE (GT below if you want to add me), so I'll skip onto my personal life subject. I mentioned in my last blog that I was heading to the doctors to see if the antibiotics I was on got rid of the pesky infection it was fighting. They appeared to have worked and the infection is gone, for now. Everything seems to be normal, but like any infection inside the body, there's alwats a possibility that the infection returns. Hopefully, it will be a while before it returns.

Yes, well, it's been a while since I last updated my blog (and my profile for that matter) so I thought I'd come on here and see what everyone's been doing. ANyway, I few updates on my life...

I decided I'd join a clan that's on both Xbox360 and PS3 simply because I'm sick of playing by myself in a team where there's no communication going on at all. I'm sure the majority of you would agree with me. I'm greatly enjoying being able to talk to my team mates and get at least one or two responses back, makes for less boring gameplay. As far as other gaming things go, I haven't bought any new games yet, which is shocking since I've seen many, many new, good looking games in gaming stores over the past couple weeks. I'll see if I can cough up the money to get one, or two.

As for me, personally, I'm currently on antibiotics because of a pesky infection which is causing trouble in my body. However, the antibiotics appear to be working and I'm going to back to the doctors on Friday to get an update. I'll hopefully be off the pills by Saturday. I'm also sick to death with the wrong predictions bt the MET Office here in the UK. They originally said at the start of April that the UK's summer would be hot and dry, apart from a small heatwave in late June/early July, it's been nothing but rain. They're now predicting a wet August for most of us. I really do hope they get it right eventually.

Anyway, that's it for this blog update, hopefully I'll post more frequent ones in the coming weeks.

'King of Pop' Michael Jackson has been confirmed dead at the age of 50. He suffered a Cardiac Arrest at his home in LA, he died in hospital shortly after!

Well, Pigs Do Fly ... Very Fast!

The title is concerning the Swine Flu outbreak(s). The virus is spreading like wildfire and it seems there's no good way to actually contain it, let alone stop it. Now, I'm mainly focused on the situation in the UK, where 11 cases have been confirmed so far, one of which was caused through 'human-to-human' transmission. This gives the WHO one more reason to raise it's threat level to 6, the highest level in the system. Hopefully, like Bird Flu, this will fizzle out after a while and all will be well within the next few months. Well, this gives a truer meaning to the old saying, "When Pigs Fly".
