Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is the third iteration in the Guitar Hero season. Guitar Hero III was released after the huge success of the first two games, and tried to distinguish itself and take the series in a new direction.

The music "peripheral" genre was at its peak when Guitar Hero III came out, and I was skeptical from the beginning about one aspect of this game, the Boss Battles. Instead of trying your best to hit the notes of the song, you would be trying to get your enemy to mess up as often as possible, play the song horrifically, and in the end make them fail the song. This right here, is what turned me off from the entire music peripheral genre.

At its core however, Guitar Hero III is more of the same that everyone loved from the first two games. You have your plastic guitar, there are notes scrolling along the screen, and your goal is to perform the songs to the best of your ability. In the end, the game is the exact same as the first two releases, except with new tracks.

I can say that this is the last peripheral music game I will ever purchase (would not have ever bought it if didn't' find it for $1 at a Half Price Books). The market became too saturated with developers pouring out version after version with no core gameplay changes or innovations. Sure there were new instruments, but in the end it's just another piece of plastic with buttons that you're hitting colored orbs with.

Guitar Hero III is a fun game, but by no means a game that has lasting appeal if you have plowed hours into Guitar Hero I and II.

I normally don't write reviews for Zelda games, because I'm a huge fan of the series, and to me every game is great. There's not much of a point to writing a glowing review for a game that has already received hundreds of them. Well, I'm sorry to disappoint the negative people out there but Wind Waker is just as good as any other Zelda game. It's a Zelda game after all, if you've played one then you know what you're getting with this game. What made me want to write this review, and what gets me excited about this game, is the fact that this is a very different Zelda game. To me the best Zelda games are the unique Zelda games, and the most unique Zelda game in my opinion is Majora's Mask. Wind Waker rivals that game in its uniqueness.

So what makes this game so distinctive? First of all, the art style. This is what put people off about this game when it came out. At the time of it's release, the cell shaded (or bright cartoonish look) was very popular, but everybody was expecting the new Zelda game to have a more "realistic style". This game came out 8 years ago, and while the art style was criticized when the game came out, it seems to be embraced by Zelda fans today. The reason for this is that old games that are made to look "realistic" tend to age very badly, while a game with a distinct art style such as this will retain it's charm. Just look at Link's facial expressions in this game and you'll see something the developers wouldn't have been able to achieve with a more complex art style.

Secondly, the overworld needs to be mentioned. This is the first Zelda game to use a nearly all water overworld. I know there are islands, but the islands are tiny and the overworld is almost entirely water. This is a very interesting concept which introduces sailing into the Zelda series, but if you don't like sailing for several minutes between islands, it may not be a welcome concept. I myself was not a fan of the amount of sailing early on in the game with nothing to do along the way, but it does get better later in the game and I would never want to discourage people from playing this game simply because of the sailing.

Thirdly and finally, is that there seems to be a slight deviation from the typical Zelda formula of "dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, climax, temple, temple, temple, fight ganon", with very little time in between doing anything required. Wind Waker spends a lot of time in between dungeons doing required side quests (which technically doesn't make them side quests I guess). In addition to that there are A TON of optional side quests. I personally don't look at this as a bad thing, since I think side quests add variety to the traditional Zelda formula. I could be imagining this "deviation", but Wind Waker certainly feels different.

Even with these differences, you know what you're getting if you've played any other Zelda game. If you haven't played a Zelda game before, then you can't go wrong with starting with Wind Waker or any other Zelda game frankly. Just don't let its style turn you off.

From what I can get from this game is it's a WWE Wrestling game that can be Fun but also Frustrating at time and that is if your going for the Platinum Trophy, which of course there are easy one and then there are harder Trophies.

Like for example "The Man of 1,004 Holds" was one of the final one I got other then the Platinum Trophy, and then there is the The Magic Number Trophy which is where you pin your opponenet to win it, but that enough about the Trophies.

WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2011, is a game that is all about Story lines and Wrestling, there is alot for you to do but honestaly I don't ever see a WWE Game going to be a perfect game but I must say that they are getting closer and closer to it.

But let me talk alittle bit about this game, I like for a few reason ofcourse the Create-A-Superstar, or Diva is always fun to do, but I think the other reason this game is so fun I gives you challenges as you progress through the game especially the Road to Wrestlemania is the funest thing to do, but I think the one RTWM that is the most thoughest is Vs. The Undertaker.

But other then that, that is the Review of WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2011.

I like GH 3 just for the simple reason that I know what was coming since Ihad this game for the Wii First. but now I have this Game for the PS3 and I got it just for the certian songs that I like, and my Favorite song on this Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover, but that is just one of my favorites on theis game, I like alot of these song, so other then that I hope you enjoied this part of the Reveiw.

Now on to the Ratings, and such:

Sound: 9.5 - I love this games sound how well it does with it is amazing, but also I like that it's doesn't overwhelm you.

Controls: 8.5 - I know that this does sound a little bit low for this certian game but unless you can really rock it and understand every last thing it throws at you then you it's really hard to control it, and yes it was very confusing to me at first.

Graphics: 6.0 - This is where this game really starts to hurt it's self is in the Graphics, I know it's a very low score, but still this game is for the PS3 not the PS1.

Fun Factor: 7.0 - Unless you know what your getting yourself into your won't have fun , plus you can't even win Trophies on this certain game.

Fianl Thoughts: I really think that this game is a lot of fun it is hard though to find a middle if you can Rock then I say Rock your heart out but you don't need to play on the Hardest level unless you think that you can.

I must say that Bowling games should be more about Fun then Frustration but this game is alot of fun at certain times it will not respond to everything on the Move I think it could be alot better but then again, you never know it it will work or not, but I can say this game gets better once you do get the Hang of it, the way I won mostly all of the Trophies was by Winning Vs. Rivials, but I think it will become funer, as the Game advances on.

It's time to rate this game.

Sound: 7.0 - This games Sound like it should I mean it, sound like a bowling alley, but I think it could be better.

Graphics: 6.0 - There are these Video that come up that do get very annoying, and the worst part is You can't turn them off, but the Other Graphics on the Game are decent enough but not Extraordinary.

Controls: 4.0 - These Controls are ok but they could be alot better, The Move is fun to use, it's still not enough.

Fun Faction: 6.5 - This Game like I already said is Fun to a certain point, you will get upset withe everything at first.

Final Thoughts: This game is fun but, It could be alot better,. I like the Game but it could be alot Better.

My PS3 died a couple of months ago and instead of spending money to get a refurbished system, I decided to sell all of my PS3 stuff and buy a Wii. I enjoy the games on the Wii so this for me was a good decision. Unfortunately though, I knew that if I wanted to get my Call of Duty fix I would need to hope that the Wii versions of COD are just as addictive as the other versions. I was worried about the motion controls and how that would work, but after playing through the campaign and the multiplayer I feel it was all done very well.

The Good:
It's Call of Duty 4. The gameplay and story is completely unchanged from the other versions of the game. With the exception of the controls and graphics it is the same game. If you've played COD4 then you know what this means, if you haven't then read one of the many reviews on it. The controls will take some time getting used to but I believe that the campaign was more enjoyable for Reflex than for any other version. There's something satisfying about using the motion controls to shoot. It's different and it's fun. Plus the customizable controls and aim assist helps cut down on the learning curve.

The Bad:
Nothing beats using a traditional controller. While the controls were great for the campaign, the multiplayer just demands more precision. It can be very challenging to move around and aim in the multiplayer. Plus, since Nintendo doesn't have the best online service there is a tremendous amount of lag. You'll have to spray a lot and lead your shots if you want to have any success in the multiplayer. It can certainly take some time to get used to but I believe that the multiplayer is still very addictive.

Conclusion:
Campaign is great and may be better than the other versions of COD4. Multiplayer is laggy and takes some getting used to. It's not the best version of Call of Duty 4 but if you own a Wii than it's definitely worth playing if you're a shooter fan.

I'm just joking I don't care about Hogan and I couldn't think of another saying. :P

But I do like this game, it was one of the better Wrestling game with an Arcade sort-of feeling to it, I like this game for other reasons too.

But first I would like to give some advice, if you ever are in need of a finisher or need Energy, you can Fight with the Chain Stuggles, the way to do a Chain Stuggle you first have to get your Opponent groggy, and then you either got to pick your opponent up by pressing the X button + away from your opponent, then once he is up, press the X button then just press the button that flashes on the screen, this should get you going on the way to getting closer to your Finisher, and to get health back you can taunt by pressing down button + triangle + O, that should help alot too, and the only thing is that will Take away some of your finisher enegry bar.

But that is all for the tips, but now on to more of the review, I liked all 20 of the trophies for this game, I will say that the hardest trophy to get was the Hidden one called King-of-Kings trophy.

I like also this game cause of they have Classic Wrestlers in matches that WWE has now, like the Hell in a Cell.

Thank for Reading my Review.

Well let me first off by saying I got one of the thougher Trophies, in the frist few day's and that was Yatta! (Gold Trophy), for Dr.Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, and I thought it was very easy to me, but also there are so many other games too, for this game, when you first get into the game, it shows you all of the games there are, and you can veiw a museum that has videos that have stuff about the Creators of that certain game you can watch for certain games, like if you play a game and get so far and then a box comes up in the Bottom Right corner that you've unlocked this video, and then also in the museum, you can veiw a games box art and games cartridge out of the games box.

But now back to the games on the main page alot of these game are alot of fun, but if your not fimilar with all of these game then your going to have to get used to them, because I was going for my final few trophies, and I haven't ever played Kid Cameleon and I was having some trouble with the Part where you have to climb up the wall with the Knight like character, and then that was my real only trouble with that game.

But alkot of the games are alot of fun if you can just rememberhow you used to play them.

Now to the Scoring an 8.5 is a great score for this game, but I think it desevers it, I see alot of good things for this game and even though i'ts been like since Feb. 10, 2009, this game still is and will always be an awesome game. :)

I first must say I wasn't too, too, much into playing this game until my brother showed me some steps to make this game fun to play, I think if your not sure if you want to Step up to the plate and bat or be on the mound, then I suggest you will want to play, Manager maode where where it's just like being a a MLB Manager for your favorite team, and that is how I got used to the game, I really enjoy MLB 10: The Show, but then there is some other stuff.

Like for one if your up to bat and you are playing on Level Pro instead of Rookie, your will get very, very, upset with this game very quickly, thhere is is other things like the Updates are mostly the main thing that upsets me, I know it need to be updated but I think after a while It gets repetitive.

Now on to what I think of this game, the announceing does get repetitive, if you do toomany things the same then they really get on you, so I useally turn on some music, and turn down my volume on my TV.

But I must also say the Graphics a awesome like a PS3 game should be, and finally I like just how much fun this game is.

Other then that I think this game is alot of fun I give it a 8.0 overall.

I mainly played this game so that I could move on to Uncharted 2, and I was hoping for a game that would really pull me in and make me want to play the second one. Let's just say that this game didn't disappoint. It's a character driven, movie style, action game that has a good story. It reminded me of Tomb Raider with similar platforming elements to that of Prince of Persia. The story is an interesting take on the life of Sir Francis Drake and the legend of El Dorado. I have to admit that I enjoy historical fictions like this that take some old legends and spin it a way that most have never thought about before. This is what Uncharted does and it's probably the biggest reason I enjoyed this game. It of course helped that the voice acting was superb and the visual effects are some of the best I've seen in a video game.

The gameplay is very solid. The controls work very well especially the cover system, which is good since you'll be using it a lot. One of the downsides to the game is having to shoot through wave after wave of enemies. You'll constantly wonder where all of these guys are coming from, and since you can only carry two weapons at a time you'll be scavenging for extra ammo at any chance you get. None of this is too terrible though as it gives you plenty to do between the cutscenes.

The other piece of gameplay involve the platforming mechanics. While it's very easy to do jumps that make the main character, Nathan Drake, look superhuman it can sometimes be difficult to tell which way to jump next. You'll die plenty of times trying to figure out if that piece of rock is a ledge or not. The camera does point you in the right direction most of the times and there are hints that pop up from time to time but it can still be hard to judge distances. With that said it still works well most of the time, and since you'll restart very close to where you die it doesn't get too frustrating.

If you're looking for about 10 hours of enjoyment and a good story that'll keep you hooked for the rest of the series, I highly recommend this game.

God of War II can't be truly appreciated if you haven't played the first God of War game. God of War II feels exactly like the first but has a great story that makes it feel original.

God of War II picks up right where the first left off and throws you right back into the bloodbath that is God of War. The controls are identical to the first game which is great for those who are continuing the trilogy. You can pick up the game and be right at home slaughtering your enemies just like you did in the past. With that being said, I would have liked to see some of the moves changed and a lot more moves added with the blades, however, the game makes up for that with the addition of some new weapons.

This time around you acquire two new weapons, the Barbarian Hammer and the Spear of Destiny. These new weapons were nice, however I felt myself using Athena's Blades even when fully upgrading the two new weapons. It was simply easier and more effective to slay enemies with. On a second go around I will probably dabble more with the new weapons to learn how to better use their powers.

This time around the magic attacks are back, most remain the same and there is a new Quake magic attack that can be pretty effective. The magic attacks often allow you a huge advantage over enemies and are well worth leveling up.

God of War II will have you moving along nicely taking out your enemies and once and awhile puzzles are thrown in the mix. At times these can be very frustrating as you are given little clue about what to do, and often times you won't even know you are supposed to be solving a puzzle. This becomes frustrating and often times will leave you wanting to just continue on with the story instead of having to solve the puzzles.

Another minor beef I have with this game is when you apparently have finished the objectives in an area, and are just looking around for awhile to figure out what you have to do next. Often you will have missed a scalable wall, or something along that nature so look out for those if you happen to be stuck in an area. This just took away from the flow of the game and could have been avoided with subtle camera angle changes to hint at what areas should be explored next.

God of War II contains many great boss battles that will challenge you. Many of the boss battles require you to defeat the boss in a puzzle like fashion and many of the boss battles include on-screen prompts (Press X, rotate sticks, etc.) that will keep you on your toes. This is different from other games because if you miss the prompts you don't die automatically, you simply lose a little bit of your health. This eliminates the frustration that can occur in other games where you almost defeated the boss yet missed an on-screen prompt and have to start the battle over.

God of War II will engage you in the game from beginning to end killing everything from mere warriors to huge bosses to, well, we won't give away too much here, you'll have to play the game yourself. God of War II is a fantastic game for the PS2 and I would highly recommend both I and II to fans of the Action Adventure genre.

Animal Crossing: City Folk is the Nintendo Wii's version of Animal Crossing. The Animal Crossing series debuted in 2002 on the Nintendo Gamecube, and Animal Crossing: City Folk brings many of the familiar features from that game, as well as Animal Crossing: Wild World to the Wii.

In Animal Crossing you are living among animals in a town where you are free to live at your own leisure. There are no strict goals or storyline, you play the game at your own pace. To the avid gamer you may be thinking, then what's the point? Honestly, there really is no point to this game except to build up a great town, become friends with your fellow townspeople, and upgrade and acquire items to make your house unique.

City Folk has a vast variety of items for your home and offers enough items and item sets to allow you to customize your house and make it fit your personality. Also new in City Folk, if you are using WiiConnect24, Nintendo will send you new items to celebrate events (New Years, Fourth of July, etc.)

Another new feature in City Folk is the ability to travel to the City. You can go to the city to get a Mii Makeover, bid on and sell items at the Auction House, get your fortune told, visit Redd's shop, go to the theater, and buy high end items at Gracie Grace's fashion boutique. With that being said, Nintendo could have done more with the city to make it more interesting, however it's a nice feature to be able to leave your town for awhile.

Nintendo makes use of the Wii's online capabilities by allowing you to visit other people's towns, or have people over to your town. This is a good feature if you know other people with the game, however if you don't you can't use the feature. Nintendo once again chose to use Friend Codes which limits your ability to show off your town to other people. Don't get me wrong, it's great to go to another town but let's be honest, the City should have been used as a MMO-style meeting ground where you could go meet other players and then head to a town from there. But, this is Nintendo and they were once again way too conservative and really missed a great opportunity with the Wii's online capabilities.

Animal Crossing: City Folk brings back all of the great features from previous games and adds a few new wrinkles that make it a very good game. With a few more additions Nintendo could really have made this game a masterpiece, however it's well worth picking up if you've never experienced the world of Animal Crossing.

If you go back to the start of this series on that little purple console it's amazing how far this series has come. The Gamecube versions were great games, and Metroid Prime 3 takes the series to a whole new level. With the new functionality of the Wii Rare was able to develop a beautiful environment and use some intuitive and spot on controls to cap off this great trilogy.

Metroid Prime 3 uses what the Wii has to offer to its advantage, and using the Wiimote to control Samus feels much smoother and easier than using the Gamecube controller. Pointing and shooting at your enemies has never been easier than with the Wiimote. Rare also uses the Nunchuck nicely, which is a rarity for Wii games. For example, you can rip debris out of your way by lunging forward with the Nunchuck, then ripping back to literally throw the debris out of your way. Another new feature added to the controls are the mini-puzzles you will be using the Wii remote to solve. These are as simple as rotating locks back and forth, but it's a nice feature added to take advantage of what the Wiimote is capable of doing.

This game is one of the better looking games developed for the Wii, right behind Super Mario Galaxy. When you look out into space, or are battling the many Space Pirates you will face, or are watching a cut scene every area of Metroid Prime 3 looks beautiful. This is something we just aren't seeing on the Wii, and it's refreshing to see that Rare didn't skimp on graphics and use the excuse that many other developers are using.

Another new feature added in Metroid Prime 3 that wasn't available in 1 or 2 are the unlockable items. Along the way the game will keep track of your kills, boss defeats, etc. and will allow you to cash in your "tokens" earned for new features (e.g. the ability to take snapshots and send them to the Wii Photo channel) or you can trade them in for things to put on your ship (Mii bobblehead is my favorite) or for other items such as dioramas, stickers, etc. I would compare this feature to the 360's achievements and the PS3's trophy's. Just another bonus to come back and play the game over, not that you will need these extra bonuses anyways.

Metroid Prime 3 was a fantastic closing to the Metroid Prime Trilogy, and is a must-play for any Wii owner.

So let's first break down the game, there are of course Trophies and alot of them, and alot of people think that is the only real reason to buy this game, but that is not the case, I like this game for alot more then just the Trophies, but to get back to what I was saying the Trophies are fun to get and everything, but if you worry about the Trophies then it may not be as fun, but I will say this, that if you just do all the modes, and stuff a few times, then you will really enjoy yourself.

But like I had already said, Trophies are not the whole story of this gmae, there are also Create-A-Wreslter, and of course that is alot of fun, you make to up to, at least 30 wrestler, it could be more I'm not fully sure though.

But then there is also Create-A-Story, which is really most like GM Mode only your in full controll, of the WWE for Raw, ECW, and Smackdown, but the only tough part is getting through it all, and getting ideas.

There is also Create-A-Finisher, which does need alot of work with the Diving move, but other then that I think that Ground moves are great, also in there is Create-A-Move Set, and Create-A-Enterance, which were in last years, I'm not 100% sure, but I'm 80% Sure it was.

There are, I believe 5 or 6 Road to Wresltemania, Create-A-Wreslter, Edge, Brand Warfare (which has Cena and Triple H on the front), Mickie James, and one more or so, of those, and then there is also Season mode, which is like anything else a SEason mode where you are trying to fight your way up the ranks to a WWE World Heavyweight Chamip and the WWE Championship.

But then there is the modes lkike One on one and Tag Team, and so on, and all of them are really fun, to play.

And now on to why I gave it a 8.5, well the Sound and music is great, Controls are a little confusing unless you play it for a while this is not a game where you just Pick up the Controls and play, you have to learn the games movement, the Graphics are Great I love hove they look, but I just remembered that in this game there are afew flaws, and then the Fun Factor is really great too, I love making wreslters Bleed, and being in ECW Extreme Rules match, and that is what I love most about this game.

Graphics are intense, But it is not what you expected all this time. A little confusing to play the game. It is a game that little kids would like to play more than us grown ups. Hard levels to beat the boss on the stage you play. Difficulty and strategies are to be expected in each boss level. Ways of energizing is hard to come by, but there is always a way to energize back up. It is just hard to figure it out. Using the arm or hand as a weapon add on is great and helps you kill the enemy faster with better moves and awesome way of killing the enemies. Graphic wise is really intense but, all the hype about the game is just trash. It almost got me interested in to continuing playing the game, but It do not seem to catch my intention much at all. A fan of Devil may cry might rate it better than me or say better things than what I said about it. But not me I had no interest in this game at all. Good luck to all those who buy the game.

A very active activity that is fun with the family at all times at any time of the day. Keeps you moving in every sport, have plenty of fun doing the sport is kind of hard to master the sport perfectly! You also open up more boards and activities if you do the first stage really good. One bad out come but I guess is for Nintendo to make more money on the system. You have to buy the Wii motion plus which is sold separately I think. Maybe it comes in a bundle. I bought mines separately. It worked out better for me that way. The only problem is the Wii motion plus, I had to buy two of them to play a two player game or I would of been the only one playing by myself. And it is no fun that way. Some game are similar to the Wii sport but different rules to play and different way of playing the game.

Graphics are intense and and the story mode is incredible, but intensive and mature for kids under sixteen year of age. Online fights are incredible and awesome And new maps plus new guns and new upgrades plus new ranking. Looks like the real thing when you play the game. It is very intense and cool. Russia is a cool mission. A must get game especially for online fights. Online battles are incredible and fast paste. Aiming with sniper guns are incredible. And hip to hip two gun use is in the game to use two guns at the same time. Avatar are shown for online players. Stages are insane and very brutal not for little kids to play, unless is online battles. Stages are not easy to pass and very difficult to beat. A must get game to stay playing for hours and hours achievements are not easy to get!

The game sucked big time! The graphics was incredible, but not enough to keep playing the game never kept me interested in playing the game. traded it in first place who would take and the value was really low cause of its age and its grading! be advise its not what you think and its a short game at that! Other games I get won't be this boring as boring as this game is every castlevania game I ever play was never this boring. Demond and draculas you fight are really easy and does not get you anywhere. you stay in the same level all the time. Boring game! Be advise is not worth buying. Only fun to play versus mode against someone else or the computer. Not like other castlevania games I ever played. New characters in the game but it does not make the game better. Special moves are given to each characters. makes it seem like it's street fighter, but it is not. it is just a wanna be street fighter game.

graphics is amazing like always! Lots to think about in this game, but since it is Xbox 360 you can not die because you have an achievements to accomplish. And one of those is to not die more than 99 times. Lots of hidden places and lots of magic power by both good and evil. you also got a helper following along and she saves your life when you are about to die. whole new technique of fighting and brand new weapons from the last game that came out called the two throne which by the way was a good game also. lots of mission in this game. It is very addictive to play and put the game down. It also gets harder the further you go. Good fighting skills. Game recommended to buy if you like one player RPG games that rocks and keeps you on your toes at all time. Not a very easy game and its a long game to beat the map shows a lot to do when you start playing. lots of wall crawling and pole climbing and demonds to destroy

Fri, 25 Sep 2009 11:08:04 -0700 seifervii reviewed Shin Megami Tensei: Persona for the PSP... http://www.gamespot.com/shin-megami-tensei-persona/user-reviews/683250/platform/psp/ ...and gave it a 7.5.

Glad to see such a unique and challenging game remade for the Sony PSP. I've played the original PSX game and also the sequel (Persona 2: Eternal Punishment) and we quite taken by there challenge and interesting stories.

My review is based on this port and my time played thus far (roughly 20 hours). I'll break it down by the following categories: Gameplay, Presentation, Challenge and Changes/Additions.

Gameplay:

If you've played the past two Persona games on the PS2 then be prepared for a setback in regards to how the entire original was played (graphics, pace of moving through the game and to me challenge. The only "true" similarities besides the witty humor and dark story are the actual Persona's. There are however many different ones although it is due to the Persona names being the original Japanese names. Omitted from the latest games are the use of guns (besides the guns used to call your Persona in P3). This game has them in spades and I really enjoyed having an alternative to the Persona magic or just basic attacks. I also enjoyed even more the ability to use multiple persona's for each of the character's (not limited to one Persona for the other team members).

You'll find that most of the game consists of moving from location to location and combating various demons while gradually moving the story along (new animated story sequences are a nice touch). The story is actually pretty deep at least I thought so after playing it back in 1996. It consists of the more than used Japanese RPG apocalyptic story, but has the common Shin Megami theme of school children, plot twists and demon interaction.

Combat is actually quite refreshing this time or I should say moves quicker (give it a chance people). For me I had to wait through long PSX loading times and the occasional freeze just to enjoy this game back in 96-97. The new PSP game changes all of that and even has the SKIP feature to move it even faster. Battles are quite frequent. Also has the "new" AUTO features that allows for previous replays of using any magic, guns, etc.

The enemy layout is diverse in certain areas, but you'll fight the same 1-5 various enemies throughout each dungeon. The main component of the combat is the ability to converse with with the demons (and they with you). Believe me I'm playing this on expert and at times when you're getting beat down it's a good way to try to save your team. Battles can be quite brutal with the occasional enemy that can wipe out your ENTIRE party! Weaknesses and Strengths play a HUGE part in your success in this game.

Presentation:

Will keep this short and sweet. Menu's great (put some more recent RPG games to shame). Graphic's nothing to sneeze at, but it's from last decade. Nice scene animation's though and you can replay them from the start menu.

As stated before the game moves at a quick pace. Battles are 3 times quicker, animation's for the Persona's can be sped up. I like the new town map which looks like the layout of the Devil Summoner or Nocturne...even P3 or P4.

Challenge:

Really like that they have the easy, normal and Expert. Gives people the chance to enjoy this game. As I mentioned before the game doesn't hold back with the difficulty. It's a little easier the first 15 hours, moves up in difficulty the next 20 hours and gets downright crazy the last 15 (this being from me playing it through last decade). Be sure to fight a lot (you really have no choice), but also get used to conversing with demons earlier on. They start to get really snarky and cheap with fighting and conversations late in the game.

Changes/Additions/Final Words

Great package - 2CD's and a revamped game. Much quicker and easier to work through this time around. Love the new cut scenes and new map layout. Nice trip down memory lane.

Funny what a generation's difference of gamers can show these days. Wasn't too impressed with the Gamespot review. Seems like they don't understand Persona 3 and 4 were evolutions from the first two games. They're actually more contained then the first two with being centered on dungeon crawling and limited places to go. The original Persona games had it all and made for more diverse exploring. Look at Jeff Gerstmman's review of the original game. Amazing he is no longer there, but like I said before...what a difference a generation makes!

Enjoy!!!!
