And I mean that in a positive way, cause I do enjoy this game but c'mon sometimes it's just plain cheap as hell! And i think the creater's did that intentionally. The f'n Space Eagles are usless as sh*t and don't work nearly as well as they've worked in past Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons, which is a shame considering they are handy if u get stuck. That seems like a bug to me that got over looked and kinda takes away from the fun. I'd hope a patch will come with a future update that improves the Space Eagles. Also, why is not enough of the game available? WTF?! I should'nt have to buy levels they should unlock after beating previous levels of the game. Overall it's a fine game and if you're like me and love the Angry Birds franchise then by all means pick this up, but just be prepared for a major frustration at times

Balloon Bomber

Balloon Bomber is a shoot-them-game from 1980. The player controls a tank that shoots balloons propelling on the tank's level. This video game makes for somewhat satisfying experiences.

This gameplay pretty much flows until the players' lives expire. With the beginning levels, the game turns out being challenging. Players should adapt by gunning the balloons depending on their direction. As the levels progress, there is a bomber constantly sending grenades around the battle-tank's surface. Advice here is that gamers need to become evasive, specifically depending on where the bomb aircraft's weapon forces impact.

Balloon Bomber pretty much gives simplistic quantities of enjoyment. Even with five minutes passing, the game becomes stiff with challenge. This game will mainly also barely satisfy serious shooter fans.

Thu, 29 Mar 2012 06:27:01 -0700 hhbc1 reviewed Mass Effect 3 for the Xbox 360... http://www.gamespot.com/mass-effect-3/user-reviews/791012/platform/xbox360/ ...and gave it a 5.5.

No other game has been so overshadowed by the blatant canyon forming between the consumer and the provider. Mass Effect 3 is a mediocre experience. You can dress up mashed potato in as many ways as you want, but at the end of the day, it's just boring mashed potato when you get down to eating it.

Mass Effect 3 depended on it's faithful following to run out and buy their copy day-of-release, unfortunately it hasn't quite worked out like that. Within hours of play many purchasers immediately flocked to the messageboards to vent their frustrations at what the developers failed to do on the most basic level. For instance: as soon as one loads up the game and prepares to import their "Commander Shepard" from his frolics in Mass Effect 2 they are greeted by a great big slap in the face. The "Face Import" issue stands as just one of many issues which directly penalise old-faithful players, and once you have an error and the immediate let down 30 seconds into the game it's hard to recover.
Yes, you can reconstruct your Shepards appearance, but the human mind is programmed to recognise faces, so there will be many moments where micro-movements caused you to realise that this is not "your Shepard".

The game mechanics are just as clunky as they have always been (yes there will be moments when Shepard will 'click' onto a flat surface and ignore your command of running forward away from the massing legions of deep space, leaving him to be pelted by bullets while the camera whizzes around like it's mounted to a drunk guy on a skateboard). There is a vast array of superior third-person shooters out there on the market. But this issue has always been overlooked in previous instalments, because of it's stellar story.

Unfortunately, Mass Effect 3 completely fails to deliver in it's most important selling point. I don't need to tell you that after your investment of nearly 100 or so hours (spanned out across all three games), the ending, which is so important to any videogame, goes so far as to ruin the entire series, to the point where you probably will not want to play any of the previous games again.
Mass Effect deserved better, and whether it was just down to lazy-writers or too much publisher interference, Bioware have let themselves down spectacularly. (An incredibly hyped game from a groundbreaking series, doesn't have to have an underwhelming conclusion, as demonstrated by 'Metal Gear Solid: 4')

With any other name, Mass Effect 3 would probably be confined to the nearest discount section of your store. It's a shame to see such a series bow out in a whimper and leave nothing but a trail of discontent and disappointment in it's wake.

Lunar Rescue is a shoot-them-up game within arcades. The pilot must land on platforms to rescue individuals then pilot upward taking them towards the player's headquarters. This shooter is workable but needs better game-play mechanics.

The game starts off supposedly easy but is actually stiff with challenge. Players should predictably utilize fuel when close towards asteroids. As the game progresses, spaceships become faster, fuel should become more conservative, etc. Often gamers need to make sure they very accurately land on the point platforms. Continuing, this is pretty much what gamers obtain from the game.

Its still good that Lunar Rescue functions well. The game often feels like its just a test of endurance. Shooter fans will very little feel passionate about this gaming piece.

Missile Command is a shoot-them-up video game within various consoles. The mission around this game is to shoot missiles rocketing towards the city. From this, gamers have a game that gets a little of the basics right.

Within the first couple of levels, the missiles drop around simple paces. Players should implement the middle weaponry more cause of their speed. As the video progresses the rockets also shuffling airborne enemies become faster. The players' weapons become more valuable as they should attempt to hit multiple objects. Even more, the adversaries start moving at light-speed. Competitors need to be skillful with their shots to easily score more lives.

Missile Command comes as being a minor gaming experience. The game-play does a minor good accomplishment of giving that retro vibeology. Shooter fans will barely enjoy this and then find more intriguing games.

Wed, 08 Feb 2012 22:30:19 -0800 Wensea10 reviewed Pac-Man World 2 for the GameCube... http://www.gamespot.com/pac-man-world-2/user-reviews/787374/platform/gamecube/ ...and gave it a 7.5.

Pac-Man World 2 is a platform video game for various consoles. There are around fifteen decent levels within this video game. This video game makes for a satisfactory choosing.

Starting with the video game, the world Pac-Man encounters is the 'Tree Tops.' Moreover, e begins in 'Pac-Village that could have been amore special. The next level is more satisfactory which bear 'Bear Basics.' The interesting portion of this area is to learn the controls. Enemies here include the Ghost that is strong and freely chases after Pac-Man and Pac-Cub which runs after gamers is they are close. The next level on the list is 'Canyon Chaos.' Advice here is that contenders will understand about massive adversaries. Rivals here include Pac-Bear that rapidly chases Pac-Man when in its space and RGB that breathes fire when Pac-Man is close in its vicinity. Pac-Man then travels to the level 'Pac-Dot Pond.' The standout piece here is Pac-Man must rev rolls as a stopping method at specific points. Modern enemies here are the Beetle that walks and uses its claws on Pac-Man around close distances. Eventually, Pac-Man travels to the level 'Blinky's Killer Frog.' Accomplishments here is Pac-Man must butt bounce his tongue and rev roll its mouth.

The next world Pac-Man explores is the 'Forest.' The introductory level here is creative and called 'B-Doing Woods.' What mainly is the standout here is Pac-Man must use b-doings to reach farther boundaries. The upcoming level now is deemed 'Treewood Forest.' Contemporary strategies here are there are b-doings that coerce direction changes. Pac-Man will encounter a modern enemy named Bat that flies back and forth within certain premises. The next level to progress towards is 'Butane Pain.' The steel power-up plays important roles here since it is needed to bypass the blue fire. The latest villains here involve Spider that walks toward gamer's location to bite them. The chief level here is 'Inky's Blade o-matic.' This boss can be affected by attack choices of rev rolls, butt bounces, etc.

The next landscape found is the 'Snow World.' To begin this boundary, Pac-Man starts in 'Ice River Run.' Tactful statements here are that the water looks breathtaking but if Pac-Man falls in the liquid, he is turned into an ice cube so it must be avoided. Nemesis types here are Rev Roll Rams that charge at players with rev rolls and Flying Fish that touching it likely means starting from checkpoints. Past this level onward is the large area 'Avalanche Alley.' Predictably, tactics here are players must create whatever acts necessary to sprint from rampaging snowballs. Going forward, the next level is 'Blade Mountain.' Strong tactics here is that contenders will confront several falling icicles needing evasion. With these places done, the boss level here is 'Pinky's Revenge.' Comical suggestions are attacks that are effective against the machine are rev rolls and butt bounces.

Now gamers find themselves within the 'Lava World.' Starting this world is the level 'Into the Volcano.' Modern enemies found here compose of Pooka who explodes when characters are close by them, Pooka Plants that devour Pookas nearby, and Stony who fires extreme-speed fireballs at Pac-Man. Players will definitely have to traverse the lava carefully as it burns contenders to crisps. 'Volcanic Panic' is the upcoming level gamers find. When traveling far in the level, there is a portion where contenders must jump rapidly as the lava rises. The latest villain here is the Neander-Pac who charges at heroes close by it. The next level coming up is 'Magma Opus.' Advice here is when close to finishing the level, players will travel on a rapid slope. Onward, Pac-Man travels to the chief level 'Clyde in the Caldera.' The very simple method to become victorious is Clyde will be in the position to become butt bounced after he attacks with his barrage of magma-balls.

Past the Lava World, Pac-Man is now positioned within the Ocean World. The introductory level in this land is 'Scuba Duba.' Identified adversaries here are the Shark who eats Pac-Man whole when close in the vicinity and Eel who comes from his hole in electric coverings. Advice here is to maintain powerful evasive actions when passing the minefields. Coming up next is the level 'Shark Attack.' Recognizable strategies here are evading the torpedoes efficiently as they pass at somewhat light-speed methods. The interesting level Pac-Man encounters next is 'Yellow Pac Marine. Suggestions here are to assemble endeavors to collect the power-ups such as the smart bomb. So then contenders find the boss level 'Whale on a Sub.' To become triumphant, players when available have to shoot their submarine arsenal at the mechanical whale's body parts.

As the expedition continues, gamers are now within Ghost Island. The place coming up is 'Haunted Boardwalk.' Tactics here is there are boardwalk pieces that progress toward the water when stepped on. The next intriguing level here is 'Night Crawling.' For the completion of the enemy list, Skeletons sprint toward Pac-Man with swords when close. Recommendations here is the rev roll must be used properly to reach the distant places. 'Ghost Bayou' is a level definitely needing more fairness. To complete the rest of the video game, contenders travel to the chief level 'Spooky.' Suggestive actions here is flip kicks can be implemented against Spooky when he creates minions as sidekicks.

Pac-Man World 2 makes for a decent video game. The game could definitely be profound with more levels. This is an exceptional video game for platform fanatics.

Game and Watch Gallery 4 is a video game arcade collection for the Game Boy Advance. Thankfully, majority of the video games seen here are outstanding. This video game compilation is excellent within the video game library.

In 'Fire' players send characters jumping from the blazing building towards the ambulance. Tactics here is to worry about the characters closer to the pavement needing to be propelled higher. With the 'Boxing' game, it could have been produced better. In the game 'Rain-shower,' contenders have to protect their property from falling water. Advice here is that on higher difficulties, other characters will willingly move the player's property possible in the water's direction so it is best to stay alert.

Continuing with video games in this collection, 'Mario's Cement Factory' sees players controlling Mario as he does work efficiently within his workplace. Advisable situations here are to work from the bottom towards the top. In the game 'Donkey Kong Jr.' gamers control the aforementioned character as he saves Donkey Kong from Mario. Suggestions here are to implement the fruit to quickly annihilate enemies. In 'Donkey Kong 3,' players control Mario or Stanley as they compete against Donkey Kong. Tactics seen here involve keeping the three sides at bay within each other. In the game 'Chef,' contenders control a cooker that uses a pot to cook the descending provisions. Strategies seen here are obviously reaching the food closer towards the pavement. 'Mario Bros.' is another game in which players control Mario and Luigi while they carry packages in upward directions. A tactful action here is that at times the boxes may suddenly go towards where they came from. In 'Donkey Kong,' Mario must save Peach from Donkey Kong's possession. Recommendations here are that rapid movement is needed here as the faster Mario rescues Peach, more points become rewarded. In the game 'Octopus,' players go underwater to collect gargantuan amounts of treasure. Advice here is when the octopus's tentacles are inbound, players can use the treasure as an attack.

So continuing, in 'Fire Attack,' players control characters protecting their vicinity from attacks. Suggestions here are that gamers should attack enemies in order based on speed. In 'Manhole,' contenders control a serious character as they place bridge pieces for the citizens to walk. The advice piece here is that players should move according towards who is close to falling. In 'Tropical Fish,' gamers control a grandpa catching his jumping fish. The recommendations here are that players should lean toward the left or right depending on what boundary is more populated. In 'Mario's Bomb's Away,' contenders control Mario as he carries the bomb towards Luigi. The obvious saying is that more fire is around the topmost part so players should keep the bomb in the ground parts more. In 'Parachute,' contenders must rescue parachutists from falling within the ocean. Basically, parachutists closer towards the water need rescuing first.

Continuing, in 'Bombsweeper,' players must control the protagonist trying to reach the bomb in time. Being tactful here is within most segments, contenders should make endeavors in finding different methods towards reaching the exploding objects. In 'Climber' players control a character that consecutively meets the bird at the topmost floor. Gamers must be careful of the floor segments they hit as they might be forced to wait a while until new pavement portions are assembled. The upcoming game is 'Safebuster,' which sees players controlling a person disposing of bombs thrown by some creature. Suggestions seen here is to put bombs downward the pipe if any are in possession immediately. There are more games to announce; so in 'Lifeboat,' contenders control two characters saving ship passengers from the left and right premises. A simple advisability inbound is that both sides are intertwined so if the left side moved, the right side follows a recognizable fashion. There is no need to mention the game 'Zelda,' which sees Link reaching the Triforce from the adversary's possession. This brings us the games in this collection.

Game and Watch Gallery 4 is a magnificent compilation of video games. Some of the standout titles include Safebuster, Fire Attack, and Climber. An amazing video game collection for arcade fans who enjoy varieties of a specific genre.

Sun, 29 Jan 2012 17:28:34 -0800 Wensea10 reviewed Mario Kart 64 for the Nintendo 64... http://www.gamespot.com/mario-kart-64/user-reviews/786660/platform/n64/ ...and gave it a 9.0!

Mario Kart 64 is a racing video game for the Nintendo 64. Some modes seen within this video game include Grand Prix, Time Trial, and Battle. This game is mostly outstanding when racing on the 16 tracks seen in the video game.

Grand Prix and Versus Mode are familiar in which players race on the tracks in each cup. The characters compose of Mario who is the most balanced, Luigi who handles a bit better than Mario, Peach who has outstanding acceleration, Toad who has the strongest acceleration, Yoshi who is the most powerful of the lighter characters, Wario who has superb top speed, Donkey Kong who has the better steering of the heavy characters, and Bowser who is the strongest character in the video game. The Mushroom Cup tracks comprise of Luigi Raceway, Moo Moo Farm, Koopa Troopa Beach, and Kalimari Desert. In Luigi Raceway, players should concentrate on drifting to finish the race quickly. In Moo Moo Farm, racers need to be aware of the Monty Moles that hop often from the holes. In the stage Koopa Troopa Beach, if players drive fast enough up a specific ramp, they will discover a shortcut. In the interesting stage Kalimari Desert, competitors need to be careful of the train that passes along the track often.

The Flower Cup is composed of the racetracks Toad's Turnpike, Frappe Snowland, Choco Mountain, and Mario Raceway. Racers in Toad's Turnpike will have to race around the numerous vehicles leisurely driving. Competitors in Frappe Snowland will have to be careful of the snowmen placed along the track. In the stage Choco Mountain, when having items like shells, players can use it to their advantage at certain areas to make other racers have a longer time to complete their lap. On the track Mario Raceway, players need to avoid driving in the sand as this drastically alters their position.

The Star Cup tracks include Wario Stadium, Sherbet Land, Royal Raceway, and Bowser's Castle. In Wario Stadium, players can use items strategically as they make big jumps by using them to make others have to jump from the ramp more. In Sherbet Land, players will have to be cautious when driving past the penguins. Competitors in Royal Raceway need to acknowledge that Peach's Castle is just scenery. In Bowser's Castle while racing, players will definitely have to take caution of the Thwomps.

As the Special Cup Comes, the tracks seen here are composed of DK's Jungle Parkway, Yoshi Valley, Banshee Boardwalk, and Rainbow Road. In DK's Jungle Parkway, racers will need to steer clear of the grassy areas because a spiky object will change their process. Drivers in Yoshi Valley will mainly have to steer clear of the giant Yoshi Egg. Within Banshee Boardwalk, driver's necessity is circling around Swoopers seen. In Rainbow Road, racers will constantly need to drive past Chain Chomps.

In Time Trial Mode, players pick a track and race as fast as possible. The top-tier five scores are saved which lead toward ghost data. With ghost data, contenders compete against the current best time on the track. Time Trial is just a d-level experience.

The Battle Mode stages seen in this game includes Donut Hole, Block Fort, Double Deck, and Skyscraper. With Donut Hole, players compete against each other in a circular environment. In Block Fort, players should strategize in implementing the upper parts of the stage. In Double Deck, players compete in what really feels like a labyrinth. In Skyscraper, players compete and can make tactics easily with the items because of the stage size.

Mario Kart 64 is such an outstanding video game for numerous reasons. It is easy to see that the kart racing is the recommended portion. This video game is an excellent choice for racing fans.

9 rating!

Back to PS2 era, I was play some of their series like Driv3r and Parrallel Lines, I can say that games was fun and good.

Once I got this game what do I expect is the content and storyline should be better and the combat mode should be more better.

What do I got is full of disappointment.

You can only driver the car, and shift to another car by some sort of flying as because you are in coma (part of the story).

Yeah, you can't get out from the car and do other stuff like previous version.

Besides the storyline is super short and is almost worthless. Why?

In real world you (John Tanner) are going to chase Jericho (Who have jailed before by Tanner) which runaway from prison and potentially to make chaos in San Francisco city. Unfortunately accidents happen to Tanner which make him coma. Well after that you'll want the answer and the end of the games right? Trust me, you going to feel disappoint too.

By the way, eventhough the storyline and expectation is a bit let down, the games still deliver some fun factor of racing games.

Plus, some part of the story have some jokes which not making you bored.

There's alot of license cars and you can discover a huge San Francisco with some racing or even challenges events.

The graphic is very well done but still with the "yellowish" color abit annoying. Well, it will go back to normal once you finish the career though.

Final words, this games is a bit let down as previous version has some better features. But still you can enjoy driving cars in San Francisco and fight with traffic, trucks and police :)

Time to finish : Approx. 6 hours
Gameplay : 6/10
Graphic : 8/10
Storyline : 5/10
Overall : 6.5/10

Pac Man is a puzzle video game that was released in 1980. The game-play revolves around Pac Man clearing the board of Pac Dots and Power Pellets while avoiding the ghosts Blinky, Inky, Clyde, and Pinky. The game makes for an okay experience since all players have to do is collect the items mentioned.

World one obviously gets you used to the game controls. With the Cherry stage, players should worry about getting the ghosts to follow you close to the Power Pellets for big points. In the Strawberry stage, the ghosts have gotten somewhat faster so you must use the shortcuts skillfully.

World two further picks up the game-play elements making the game harder. With the two Orange stages, the Power Pellets need to be strategically used. The two Apple stages come next and Pac Man must go around the board creatively.

World three more so contemplates on the actions to input. The two Melon stages come next and game-element tactics have to be greatly better. The two Galaxian stages show how much faster the ghosts have become. The Bell stage continues to show how stronger the ghosts have become. From this point, it is easy to identify the pattern seen.

Pac Man makes for and okay video game experience. It is easy to figure out the obvious routine after the first level. It is best to obtain this game in a compilation.

Sun, 27 Nov 2011 03:22:04 -0800 NFS77 reviewed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for the Xbox 360... http://www.gamespot.com/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-3/user-reviews/781607/platform/xbox360/ ...and gave it a 6.5.

Call of Duty:Modern Warefare 3 is now the eighth installment in the COD series.Although many people seem to like this game and get hyped, it's not as good as it looks.Anyway to start of with, here's the good and the bad...

The Good:
Campaign
Survival Mode

The Bad:
Online
Special Ops

COD:Modern Warefare 3 has no way even improved since the last installment, and we want a game that would keep us glued to our Xbox 360/PS3 but COD does not do that,HOWEVER...Battlefield 3 does.Anyway back on topic. The only good in this game was the campaign and the survival mode.Otherwise everything else was either boring or a waste of time, and even the survival mode gets boring soon or later.

Campaign:
The campaign is great and has great action packed missions, there are 3 acts just like in most of the COD games, and there is always a great story line ready for you to see.Although it is very easy to complete on any difficulty, the game only takes several hours and then you've completed it,but that's what you would get from all the COD games in it's series.

Survival:
Survival is a new mode which is quite fun,it more or less reminds you of Zombie mode, although i would prefer that, this is also good, but soon or later it gets very, very boring.Survival is basically pushing against diffarent waves of soldiers, your objective is basically to kill everyone and stay alive. You can buy weapons and weapon attatchments, explosives, perks, air strikes, predator missiles and you can even by freindly's,who rappel down out of a helicopter and give you a little back up,you also fight against juggernauts, the juggernauts are much more easier to kill than they were in MW2,and there are new juggernauts now who carry riot shields.

Online:
The online mode is just a waste of time, just like all the COD games, you will be playing with diffarent, diffarent noobs and campers every match. But that's another thing to expect from this game. Also rank 80 is now the highest rank, where as it was 70 in MW2.Also there are new perks and kill streaks, like juggernaut, you can now play as a juggernaut online, but you have to get a high kill streak first. There are some other new kill streaks, but there not really any good. But I never really liked COD game's online.Except for COD 3 and 4.Because the online is always the same, and there are always the same modes to play, which soon or later gets very boring.

Special Ops:
The special ops mode is also just a waste of time,it's only fun sometimes and thats if your playing split screen or with a freind online.I'ts no fun because it's just like MW2,do a mission witha timer and collect stars, and it would be better if it was more campaign like,so no timer and stars and then it would be like Co-op in Battlefield 3.

Graphics:The graphics have barley improved, and it's just the same cartoony game we played every other year.

Overall:Do not buy this game unless you are going to play the campaign.Because it's a complete waste of time and money. And my advice would be getting Battlefield 3 which has better Online and graphics.

Ratings:

Campaign:9.0/10

Survival:7.5/10

Online:5.0/10

Special Ops:5.0/10

Graphics:5.0/10

Sound Effects:7.5/10

Overall:6.5/10

Battlefield 3 is just an awesome game, and really does actuelly beat COD: Modern Warefare 3.

To start off with, here's the Good...And the Bad.

The Good:
Great Campaign
Awesome Online
Lot's of online things to unlock(Weapons,Equipment, etc)
Huge Choice of vehicles(Jets,Cars,Tanks,Boats,Helicopters,etc)
Awesome Graphics which are more or less crystal clear
Great sound affects
New Online Modes(Team & Squad Death Match)
Great Gameplay

The Bad:
Not many Co-op missions
No way to practice to pilot jets online
Can not use vehicles any time you want(Campaign)

Battlefield 3 has really changed compared to the previous games. And here's why...

Campaign:
The campaign is just awesome, and there are some great missions that you will really love to play. Also the graphics are just amazing, and you will really find the graphics as clear as anything. There are diffarent missions you can do,like in some missions you control a Tank,in one mission you control a Jet,and Battlefield 3 there are pleanty of great weapons threw out the whole game,a lot of them which are from the Bad Company games. Also the sound effects are just awesome, and make the game really realistic,as well as the graphics. But the bad thing about the campaign is that you can only use a tank in two missions and a jet in one,and you sit in a Humvee while you team mate drives, but then apart from that then thats it,your on foot for the rest of the game.

Co-op:
The Co-op is also really fun,and it is great that they had added this to the game, and it's great to play, especially if you are really bord and want to play with a freind on some campaign missions, but the only thing that spoils it is that thre are not many missions to play in,but apart from that the Co-op is just awesome, and would really keep you and your freind really entertained.

Multiplayer:
Now here's the best part of the game. The online mode is just awesome, and beats every single Shooting game, including Modern Warefare 3.There are 4 kits you use,Assault,Engineer,Support & Recon,You abviouslty start at Rank 1.With the standerd weapons, then you keep on playing and get higher ranks, and unlock new weapons and attatchments. Also you can unlock camos for your soldier's clothing, and when you get a higher rank you will unlock special weapons.but other wise you have to use a certain kit to get new weapons.Like assault,if you keep on using assault you will unlock assault weapons, and if you keep using a certain weapon, you will unlock attatchments.Like sights, lasers, tactical light, bipod, etc. And you can get all the vehicles that you can see in the campaign, and when you use certain vehicles, you can get unlocks for them as well.Like for the jets you can unlock flares, and with tanks, you can lock rocket autoloader, machine gun etc.

Weapons & Attatchments:There are many weapons to choose from, and there are many attatchments to,some attatchments can come in very handy, for example, the tacticle light, this can be used in dark places, but it can be a distraction because if you point the bright light in your enemys face,in shines all over there face and they cannot see anything, but it can also give away your position,so it is also a risk, also the laser sight,it is more or less like the tactical light, except a red light shines in your face. There are many sights like acog, red dot, etc. And there are now bipods you can use,so you can place your weapon in a certain place, you get bipods for all support weapons, and can unlock them for assault rifles to,but with support weapons they are already available.

Graphics:Frostbite 2 have really impressed me this time, the graphics are just amazing, and they make the game much more realistic. And they icture clear, also i don't even think I've seen a game with such amazing graphics before.

Sound Effects:The sound effects are just awesome to,and make the game really realistic as well as the graphics.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is just awesome, and the controls are very easy to use,but if you are not farmilliar with them, then you will get used to them within minuites.

Overall:
I think BF3 is an awesome game, and cannot be beaten by any COD game, including MW3,the graphics and sound effects are just amazing, and the Cmpaign,C-op and Online are just awesome, especially online. And there are many vehicles to choose from and many weapons to.

And finally, here are my final ratings:

Campaign:9.5/10

Co-op:9.2/10

Online:9.9/10(Would of been a 10 if you could do a bit of training before flying the jets)

Graphics:10/10

Sound Effects:10/10

Gameplay:9.5/10

Overall:9.5/10

Modern Warfare 2 was something special when it was released 2 years ago. The multiplayer was great, but was diluted thanks to exploitable hacks and glitches and players just being a******s on there camping and whatnot. But it was still a great game. Black Ops wasn't really that great, to be honest, besides the zombies mode, gun game, and one in the chamber. So what do they do for modern warfare 3?

I haven't played the campaign yet, so I'm not going to critique it since I haven't played it. So that leaves the multiplayer. So tell me; did I spend $60 on a brand new game, or a system update? There's something to be said for keeping things the same (if it ain't broke, don't fix it), but this is a video game. You don't have to drastically overhaul the gameplay, but why not add some things to it, like destructible environments, larger maps, vehicles, the like? Oh wait, Battlefield 3 has done all of that, so Modern Warfare 3 keeps just about everything the same from Modern Warfare 2, save for adding in some new modes and some new guns and some other small, unnoticable things. But I'm telling ya, the first time I played the game, I said out loud "is this modern warfare 2?" because the multiplayer gameplay, the graphics, the sound, all sound like Modern Warfare 2. Those who say this game has great graphcs obviously hasn't seen Battlefield 3's amazing graphics. They look so dated, like, perhaps, 2009 dated? Its quite dissapointing that more people will buy this game just because its Call of Duty, rather than because of the quality of the game. if you look at popularity, this game has that in spades. But as far as gameplay quality, its about as dissapointing as Duke Nukem Forever, simply because its like the developers were lazy and just wanted to make money, rather than make money and a good game. You can have both, its not that hard, guys. Modern Warfare 3 does its job making some profit, but at the expense of gameplay eerily similar to Modern Warfare 2.

As the world knows so well, the Battlefield series has been known for its fantastic multiplayer gameplay, ranging from Battlefield 1942 on the PC to Bad Company 2 last year. I said Bad Company 2 was one of the greatest multiplayer games of all time. I now reserve that title for this game.

While for most veteran Battlefield players who played on the PC, vehicles like jets and helicopters were natural, but for those who had never played those, this was a great way to make the battlefields more larger, and more intense as well. Multitude of guns, classes, vehicles and strategies makes this multiplayer have some very large scale battles. Which is not a bad thing at all. From the large Caspian Border map to the close quarters subway tunnels of Operation Metro, there's a map for everybody's likes, these maps are fabulously designed for full scale battle. Tanks, humvees, boats, helicopters, jets, etc. to name a few vehicles. There's also alot of guns, and what makes this game better than Bad Company 2 is that there is more room for customization. Want a flashlight attachment and a foregrip? Go with both. Lasersight and silencer suit your needs? Go with them! There are so many ways to fight its counterproductive to list everyway. The game looks fabulous, and the sound is great. Sure, there are still some minor bugs and glitches, but other than that, this game runs very well. The multiplayer is so damn good, its hard to put into words how good it is. Even with Modern Warfare 3 already out, I'm sticking with this game. If you haven't played this game, do yourself a favor, and go buy and play this game. You will not be dissapointed. The campaign is forgettable, but then again, you probably didn't spend $60 to play the campaign, did you?

Gears of War 3 is an amazing game, with an awesome story line, awesome online & horde mode, and some amazing graphics and sound effects that you will surley love.

GoW 3 is definatley the best in it's series,it's changed a lot from the previous games, and has improved as much as possible.

With new team members by your side, thinks are a little bit diffarent than usual, also there are many new and ugly aliens for you to destroy, and there are new one's which have a yellowie glow in there bodies.

Also horde has changed a lot, with new improvements which make the game much more awesome to play.In the new horde you can use supplys to help you fight those aliens, like spike traps, machine guns etc.But before all that you need money, and how do you get that? By killing all the aliens, also you get higer levels which allow you to use better weapons.

The multiplayer is just awesome, and is as fun as ever, and so is versus, where you can play split screen with your pal and see who is GGtruly the GoW professional.

Age of Zombies is a great PSP Mini game,it's fun, entertaining and would keep you playing it again & again, although it does have a really short story line...

The game is basically about a professor who sends zombies back in time to destroy mankind, and you go back to save mankind by destroying every single zombie excisting.

Also there are some cool Boss fights that you will face during the game. And there are many diffarent levels you play in,like egypt, china, etc.

Also there are many weapons to use, like the Pistol,SMG,Shotgun,Chaingun,Grenades,BOOM(Grenade Launcher) & Mines.

There is also very easy controls in this game, you press Triangle,Square,Circle & (X) to face each direction and when you face a direction the bullets of your weapon come out of the way you are facing.

And the game is very short and would only take 1 or 2 hours, mabie less,it depends how good you are at shooting zombies, and if your good it will be a piece of cake, but if not then,it may take a bit longer...

Mon, 03 Oct 2011 21:00:45 -0700 Wensea10 reviewed Mario Party 4 for the GameCube... http://www.gamespot.com/mario-party-4/user-reviews/776036/platform/gamecube/ ...and gave it a 7.0.

Mario Party 4 is a party video game for the Nintendo Gamecube. Every mode is good if the mini games are produced properly. There are around 55 mini games.

There are 16 4 player mini games. Manta Rings involves players going through as much underwater rings as possible. Players need to be careful of the sea creatures in that they will lose points on contact. Slime Time sees players tapping the A button as fast as possible to escape from the slime ball. If they do not press the button hard enough they have to start the whole process over. Booksquirm shows players trying to not get flattened by the moving book. Players should do their best in not trying to be on the same space with others. Mario Medley sees players in a swimming triathlon and being the first player to win. It is best to go at a normal pace. Avalanche! shows players skiing as fast as possible from the big snowball. Players should try to jump ramps for added speed. Domination is similar to Slime Time. However, you are not penalized if you are a slow button presser. Paratrooper Plunge is a competition in which players get as much coins as possible. If they are hit four times they are out. Toad's Quick Draw is unfair in that whatever flag color Toad puts up its basically shows whoever cursor is on the color Toad has, they get a point automatically. Mr. Blizzard's Brigade sees players avoiding snowballs from the Mr. Blizzard family. Big Mr. Blizzard's snowball covers a wide area. Bob Omb Breakers puts players in roles of creating puzzle combos. As more pieces are placed its easier to create combos. Long Claw of the Law is unfair because some players may find the wanted character faster than others. Stamp Out shows players stamping out a paper more times than the others. The best way to win is to overtake another player's stamp color. Mario Speedwagons shows players pressing the A button when necessary as quick as possible to shift gears. If you misstep once you basically have no shot at winning. Take A Breather involves players alternating at pressing L and R to hold their breath as long as possible. Obviously, when players come back on to the ground you know you are out. Three Throw involves players making as much basket shots as possible. Shooting in the middle rows gives the players two points. Photo Finish shows players recreating a picture that was shattered. Memorization is the main point to know for this mini game.

There are nine 1 vs. 3 mini games. Candlelight Flight shows three players extinguishing the single player's fire. The group of three should do their best to surround the lone player. Makin' Waves shows three players trying to flip the lone player on the shell. The single player should move from where the waves are coming from. Hide and Go BOOM! Is a cheap mini game because the three players can greatly come up with ways to win. Tree Stomp is similar to Candlelight Flight. The players should work together to surround the single player because their machines are slow. Fish n' Drips is a boring mini game because the single player moves at a faster pace than the three players. Hop or Pop shows one player trying to pop the three balloon characters. The three players should separate from each other to come out the winners. GOOOOOOOAL! shows three players kicking balls into the goal 10 times against the single player. The single player should act according to where the balls are coming from. Blame it on the Crane shows one player trying to catch the three character team that is in balls with a crane. The three characters should hang around Shy Guys to make the single player have a difficult time capturing them. Money Belts suck because the single player will end up getting the majority of the coins on the conveyor belt.

There are nine 2 vs. 2 mini games. The Great Deflate shows players deflating a water block Thwomp. Teams should time their jumps in sync to make the pace faster. Revers-a-Bomb shows players changing the direction of the Bob Omb if it is coming to either team's side. Players should look forward to reversing the closest Bob-Omb. Cliffhangers show teams being the first to climb a mountain. It is risky but to move faster teams should press the A button at exactly when the snowstorm comes. Team Treasure Trek shows teams finding a key and chest in a labyrinth. The skill here is to read the map carefully. Pair-a-sailing shows the boat teams trying to get as much coins as possible. Boat drivers should drive according to where the coins are. Order Up is unfair in that it shows players lifting boxes according to what Toad wants and players have advantages depending on luck. Dungeon Duos shows players trying to get out of the first. Teams need to work accurately or they will have difficulties completing this mini game. Cheep Cheep Sweep is dumb because to get the most Cheep Cheeps you have to move through the water slowly.

There are six battle mini games. Trace Race sees players tracing a line on paper as accurately as possible. Precision is the key in this event. Chain Chomp Fever shows players surviving as long as possible against Chain Chomp's attacks. Also, players have to beware of the fire. Paths of Peril show players going through a path trail as quickly as possible. Players should pick paths according to how easy it is for them. Bowser's Bigger Blast is wasteful because you do not know if you are out or in the game because of the button you pressed. Butterfly Blitz sees players gathering up as much bugs as possible. It is best for players to swing their net sideways. Rumble Fishing involves players lifting their fishing pole up after hearing the controller vibrate. Players are ranked by fish weight according to how fast they pressed the A button.

There are 3 Bowser mini games. Darts of Doom is stupid because your cursor does not let you pick where to throw the darts. The Fruits of Doom mini game is unfair because the fruit you pick Bowser may not like. Balloon of Doom shows players pumping the balloon according to when it will pop. As the balloon grows, players need to ground pound the balloon as little as possible.

There are six story mini games. Bowser Bop shows players competing to hit the most Bowser related springs. Players should do their best to try to hit the big Bowser Springs since they are two points each. Mystic Match 'Em is not cool because you never know what the card will be when you flip it over. Archaeologuess shows players ground pounding buttons that resembles the center shape. Players should analyze the shape before starting to ground pound. Goomba's Chip Flip sucks because players ground pound chips to show numbers that will hopefully help them. Kareening Koopas shows players tilting shells in to holes at the gameboard. Players should tilt shells carefully to avoid making shells pass the gameboard. The Final Battle shows a player traversing around Bowser's many traps. Players need to carefully jump around the lava because it will be a game over.

There are six extra mini games. Barrel Baron is not a great minigame because the rumble feature does not work accurately. Mushroom Medic shows players choosing the character that has a different heartbeat compared to the others. Players have to listen very closely to find out who is not similar to the rest of the characters. Doors of Doom is not a superb minigame because it resolves around picking doors with random results. Bob-Omb X-ing shows a player surviving as long as possible around Bob-Ombs. Running around constantly and far from Bob-Ombs is exceptional. Goomba Stomp shows players trampling over as many Goombas as possible. It is best to go after the Goombas in groups. Beach Volley Folley shows players playing a game of volleyball. Players should do their best by hitting with the spike technique.

Mario Party 4 comes out to be a decent game. The luck factor in the party mode brings the game's performance down a bit. Regardless, here is a decent variety of good minigames.

Tue, 27 Sep 2011 20:47:20 -0700 Wensea10 reviewed Pikmin for the GameCube... http://www.gamespot.com/pikmin/user-reviews/775475/platform/gamecube/ ...and gave it a 9.5!

Pikmin is a real time strategy video game for the Nintendo Gamecube. There is a single player mode in which Captain Olimar must collect his 30 spaceship parts after crashing on a planet. Challenge mode involves you growing as much Pikmin as you can in a day.

During the single player mode you start off at The Impact Site. The Impact Site is mainly special after you find blue Pikmin. The Main Engine is the first part you find in the game. It is obtainable after getting 25 red Pikmin who love fire. The Positron Generator is found with yellow Pikmin who can be thrown high and can carry bomb rocks and blue Pikmin whose specialty is going through water. It is found inside an enemy known as the Pearly Clamclamp which attacks by opening its mouth and smacking down. The enemies at The Impact Site are mainly Goolix which harms other Pikmin besides blue that touches its blue body.

The Forest of Hope has almost eight parts to get. The enemies here are Dwarf Bulborbs who attack by slowly eating Pikmin, Spotty Bulborbs that eat few Pikmin at fast paces, and male Sheargrubs that always eat one Pikmin at a time with its claws regardless how much times it is attacked. Continuing, Burrowing Snagrets that eats at the most three Pikmin with its beak and the Armored Cannon Beetle that attacks Pikmin with big boulders. The parts found here are the Shock Absorber, Eternal Fuel Dynamo, Extraordinary Bolt, Geiger Counter, Nova Blaster, Radiation Canopy, Sagittarius, and Whimsical Radar. The Shock Absorber is protected by a Spotty Bulborb. It requires 30 Pikmin to carry it. The Eternal Fuel Dynamo is protected by some Dwarf Bulborbs. It requires 40 Pikmin to carry it. The Whimsical Radar is protected by some Sheargrubs and needs yellow Pikmin. 20 Pikmin are required to carry the part. The Extraordinary Bolt also requires yellow Pikmin. 30 Pikmin are required to carry the part. The Nova Blaster is protected by a Spotty Bulborb and some Dwarf Bulborbs; yellow Pikmin are also needed. 30 Pikmin are required to carry the part. The Saggitarius requires blue Pikmin as they build a bridge. 15 Pikmin are required to carry the part. The Geiger Counter requires yellow and blue Pikmin including taking down a Burrowing Snagret. 20 Pikmin are needed to carry the part. The Radiation Canopy requires blue and yellow Pikmin. 30 Pikmin are required to carry the part.

The Forest Navel also has almost ten parts. The enemies here are the Breadbug that kills Pikmin by taking them in with the object its dragging, Shearwigs that attack like Sheargrubs but can also fly, and Fiery Blowhogs that attacks with fire. Continuing, there are Wollywogs that jump on top of Pikmin, Puffstool that releases spores to brainwash Pikmin, and Beady Long Legs that steps on Pikmin. The #1 Ionium Jet needs blue Pikmin. It requires 15 Pikmin to carry. The Automatic Gear can be reached by building a stick pole. You need 15 Pikmin to carry this part. The Space Float is obtained by killing the Breadbug. 25 Pikmin are required to carry the Part. The Analog Computer requires red and blue Pikmin. 20 Pikmin are needed to carry the part. The Libra requires every Pikmin color but mainly blue Pikmin because they can activate the water geyser. The Libra requires 15 Pikmin. The Anti Dioxin Filter is protected by Wollywogs. The part requires 40 Pikmin. The Gravity Jumper can be reached with yellow Pikmin as they create a bridge. The part requires 25 Pikmin. The Guard Satellite requires yellow Pikmin for defeating the Beady Long Legs and red Pikmin to carry the part back. The part requires 20 red Pikmin. Finally, The Omega Stabilizer needs red Pikmin as they take down a Puffstool. The part requires 30 Pikmin.

In The Distant Spring, there are 10 parts. New enemies found are Spotty Bulbears that are stronger than Spotty Bulborbs, Dwarf Bulbears that are stronger than Dwarf Bulborbs, Water Dumples that have wide mouths and chew Pikmin quickly, and the Smoky Progg that eliminates Pikmin by running them over with its dark force. The Gluon Drive requires blue Pikmin for mainly making the bridges and destroying the Wollywog. 50 Pikmin are required to carry the part. The Zirconium Rotor is protected by Wollywogs. 30 blue Pikmin are required to carry the part. The Pilot's Seat is protected by some Shearwigs. 25 blue Pikmin are required for the part. The Interstellar Radio is in a Puffy Blowhog which is not an enemy but is protected by many water creatures. 20 blue Pikmin are required for the part. The Massage Machine is protected by a Wollywog and Spotty Bulbear; also, blue Pikmin are needed. 30 Pikmin are required for the part. The Repair Type Bolt needs yellow and blue Pikmin for use with the Candypop Buds. 20 Pikmin are needed for the spaceship part. The Ionium Jet #2 requires blue Pikmin. 15 Pikmin are needed for the space part. Last, The Chronos Reactor was eaten by an Armored Cannon Beetle and needs to be destroyed. 30 Pikmin are needed for the part.

In The Final Trial the last part remains. The only enemy here is the Emperor Bulblax. The Secret Safe is obtained by beating the Emperor Bulblax. 40 Pikmin are required for the part.

Challenge Mode challenges you in growing as much Pikmin as you can in a day. What really stand out are the levels The Forest of Hope and The Distant Spring because they are the most varied levels. The other levels can get boring rather quick.

Pikmin is an amazing video game. The single player mode is fantastic including the challenge mode surprisingly. This game is a necessity for strategy fans.

Wed, 07 Sep 2011 13:32:55 -0700 trystkl1826 reviewed Madden NFL 12 for the Xbox 360... http://www.gamespot.com/madden-nfl-12/user-reviews/774063/platform/xbox360/ ...and gave it a 5.5.

I let the game go through its title sequence. It looked great. It revved me up to play. I thought, at last, the producers of Madden have done it. Reinvented the game. That is exactly what the title sequence makes you feel. Then nothing. That's right. Nothing.

Release night I had to have taken the disc out of the machine a minimum of ten times and turned off the 360 just as much because I thought something was wrong with the game. I thought maybe I'd picked up a bad copy. Through my frustration, when I was no longer turning on and off my machine, the main screen finally appeared. The loading time for this game is ridiculous. I've played with the idea of returning it on that issue alone.

I dug right into franchise mode where the differences, to me, did not warrant a Madden 12 title. The choice box sits in the middle of the screen. You now have the option to lower or raise the skill levels of your players. Throughout the year, you can hire guys from free agency to 1 year contracts. During the off-season you're timed as you try to out-bid other teams for players. Practice has been put back into this mode. You spend time scouting future draft picks while you play through your season. That's pretty much it when it comes to the Franchise mode screen. You're no longer setting prices for merchandise, food, parking etc. Which I enjoyed and you should be able to do if it is your franchise.

When ready to play, loading time, again, is an issue. Loading time is approximately 1:18 where the screen is just white. When the teams enter the field there is a lot of pomp and circumstance, which is fun at first. The presentation has clearly been worked on but the repetition gets old. The way each team enters the field does not change. Evey team has its own presentation but that's it, so you may find yourself skipping this. The commentators use the same words for every team. The comments are not based on the teams recent play, or the new players that you may have aquired which has certainly changed the makeup of the team. Every player gets the same tired lines. To me, most other things in this mode are pretty much the same as last year like the fans, the weather, how the players look when it rains etc. The players do have a glossy presentation though. This madden does its best to make the players look like their live counterparts. At least in the faces. I notice how slight Michale Vick is in reality but in the game he's a little beefy. Minor things like this you may notice. The texture of characters has changed a little but there are so many other areas that need the same attention.

With my created team, before I could use them in Franchise mode, I had to get rid of an existing NFL team. I did. The AI never called my teams name and after winning the Superbowl my team was called the name of the NFL team that I deleted. The commentators also gave the stats of the deleted team and did not say anything about my team and its first Superbowl win. I have played games where if you create a name the AI still recognizes it and calls it out. The AI also does not call out the offensive and defensive players of your created team, like it does your opponent, nor the name of your home stadium.

The created team players run out from the middle of the goal-post even though you have created a mezzanine with openings on the sides at the end-zones. I thought that maybe I'd created my stadium incorrectly but my team continued to take the same path from the middle of the goal-post no matter what design I used.

Tackling is different this year. Players must be wrapped up or the momentum will carry them forward. Hit's, though, are not up to par. These are grown men hitting each other with incredible velocity. Yet, each player pretty much just brushes it off with the occasional grab of a body part that has nothing to do with the injury that has been received.

I created a Madden Ultimate Team. It's a part of the game where you will have to keep putting money into it to even have a chance to get to the Superbowl. The first card collection you receive is atrocious. Your team may be ranked in the high 50's or low 60's to start. Uniform cards, you may want to change immediately, which means you will have to purchase a new card pack. Bronze represents mostly low ranking players and is the least expensive. Silver and gold follow with better players and more coins needed for purchasing. I wonder, why, if I am creating a Madden ultimate team do I not have the choice to name my team. I, twice, have been the Raiders playing the Raiders.

This is the gist of my experience with Madden NFL12. My opinion is that you can wait to purchase this game, if at all, when the price has been lowered. I agree with some reviewers that the creators of Madden should take several years off to reinvent this game.

Wed, 08 Jun 2011 10:27:25 -0700 NFS77 reviewed Call of Duty: Roads to Victory for the PSP... http://www.gamespot.com/call-of-duty-3/user-reviews/766852/platform/psp/ ...and gave it a 8.0.

Call of Duty:Roads To Victory is a great game for PSP,although is is higly under-rated,because it deserves at least a 8.0/10,but for some reason it did'nt get that, but anyway...Lets get straight to the point, and to start of with, here's the Good, and the Bad.

The Good:
Single Player
Multiplayer
Graphics
Bonus Material
Sound
Controls
Manning big guns

The Bad:
Very,Very Easy To Complete.
Lot's of glitchs.
No Online

Call of Duty Roads To Victory is a good game if you love FPS games for your PSP console. Also it does have some good graphics for a PSP,there's not much detail,"But Hey...it's a PSP game, thats what you'll get",and the sound is good to,and the controls are great, and are quite the same as Medal of Honour, and tghe controls are very easy to use,and you'de get used to them within seconds.

The single player is quite good, but only took me 4-5 hours to complete, which is not so good, and in Single Player, you will be playing as the U.S,Canada, and Great Britian, with US firts, then Canada, and then the last 3 levels as Great Britian. And you can start Single Player of on Green mode, whch is the easiest, and then it would get harder and harder.

There is also multiplayer, which is great, and you can choose diffarent, doffarent wapons to choose from.Which is also great, but then the bad appears, and then you realise,"There's no ONLINE",and thats where the problem starts.

When you complete a level(any level),you will unlock some bonus material, which includes unlocking weapons, vehicles, artillery and wallpapers, when you unlock either of these and you go to the main menue, you will see bonus material, you click on that and you can view weapons, and read information about that, and then you can do the same with the vehicels, and the same with the artillery, and then theres wallpapers that you can copy and save.

You can also Mann big guns in certin levels, like "Lucky Thirteen",in this level you have to drop the bombs from your aeroplanes, but the enemys try to stop you,so you have to shoot them down first,in the nose gunner, the tail gunner, and the ball gunner, and when you've got them all you and your team drop the bombs and you then complete the whole level.

And the bad things are that the game is very, very, very wasy to complete, and only took me 4-5 hours, which is just way too easy, and there are lots of glitchs in the game, which reduces the fun,and there is no online, only multiplayer, and with no online theres not as much fun as usual.
