my review is simply black ops is the same game as COD 1 2 3 4 5 6 , the only changes to the system are the maps and guns (half of the guns ).if you want to play a cod game with bother buy the latest they are all the same ,you waste £40 ,$60 on a game you basically already have . and there's no point buying a cod game for it s campaign because they all take themselves way to seriously and are stupid and to be frank bland and boring .but hey what do i know ? well i know when I've played the same game twice (even though the covers say different ) .
i have never brought a cod game as i don't want to give lazy creators my money ,if they do something else worth my money then i would buy that but its a shame that the cod series isn't it ,its a shame because the multplayer is fun , but like i said it always the same .once again cod has failed to bring something with any difference to there old games to the table , but i gave the game a 4.5 purely because the online is fun if you cant be arsed to play anything else . thanks for reading , this is my opinion and i am entitled to it before any of you "hardcore" cod fans start trolling and saying i'm wrong (a opinion cant be wrong ) thanks and goodbye

Fri, 30 Jul 2010 08:38:24 -0700 Suicide-Panda reviewed Naughty Bear for the Xbox 360... http://www.gamespot.com/naughty-bear/user-reviews/731086/platform/xbox360/ ...and gave it a 5.5.

The Good

Brutal
Good Concept
Fun in very small doses

The Bad
Frustrating
Some Framerate problems
Shallow
Lacks Story
Graphically underwhelming

Now we have all seen the ideas of cute teddy bears around a picnic, in their perfect island, with happy smiles. But imagine a Psychotic teddy bear on a killing rampage because he either wasn't invited to a party, or the army is after him etc, that's basically Naughty Bear in a Nutshell.

As the Title of the game suggests you play as this naughty bear, instead of a linear campaign with a story, the game goes for individual challenges and Scenes, each with different stories, and the aim of each of these challenges is to complete certain tasks, such as acquiring an amount of points, or slaughtering an amount of the residents ( Bears obviously ), driving them insane, or untouchable challenges and others.

Graphically, the game is underwhelming, Naughty bear just lacks variety, and there are always the same plants and trees, same cabin houses etc. the only real variety is the different times of day, night-time etc. The character models look appropriately cute, but they could have been detailed further.

Combat wise the game is basic, but surprisingly fun and brutal, its hack and slash for the most of it, but performing kill moves is just awesome, for example using a robot fist to beat the opponent or use a Uzi for a Robo-cop style death, basic but comical.

Naughty Bear is very much a 'Meh' type of game, there is fun to be had, but also frustrations aswell. Concept and parts of the Gameplay aside, Naughty Bear is shallow and underwhelming, coming to a Bargain Bin near you.

The Good

Lush Environments and Graphics.
Gameplay is a Blast.
Multiplayer is Epic.
You Blow a House to Pieces.
Free DLC.....

The Bad

....If You Buy The Game New.
Only 3 Online Modes
Screen Tearing
Lacking in Maps

DICE's first Bad Company made a small, but somewhat good 'bang' into the gaming world, but Bad Company 2 has come out guns blazing, and literally beating the competition.

A far more realistic approach to modern shooters, feeling more tension than its main competitor Modern Warfare 2. The Single-Player Campaign is a Blast, with diverse range of areas to play, such as jungles, deserts, and Snowy areas. There is even a World War 2 Prologue at the beginning. The Story isn't amazing but its good enough. Graphics Wise this game is jaw dropping, Lighting effects, Character Models and the terrain all look especially good. Although Screen tearing can happen often on the game, but despite that, its gorgeous.

Mind Online is where its all at, there may be only two modes and a lack of maps ( Unless you buy VIP ), it's frantic, heart pounding, and damn good fun. The maps are massive, and full of details.

Mind Like I said Before, Bad company 2 does have its down points, Screen tearing happens in single player and online, There are only two modes ( Three if you include Hardcore ).

Bad Company 2 Is a Brilliant Ride from start from finish, a few bumps, but regardless it should be in your game collection, whoever you are. :)

Dante's inferno is a game in which the extreme surreal is real . When i said this i just hope where it is based(hell) is not real or nothing like it is in the game or else we're all screwed . Anyway i really like this , yes it has a crappy beginning which doesn't really show the controls but who cares whose your well and truly into hell with no hope of leaving (as it seems at least)you should have picked up the controls . I find the controls great and quite simple even though you are unable to move the camera which can get annoying but the camera angles are mainly good anyway (in some places it can get annoying but not that often).
i really like the graphic style although in the in game game cut screens the full graphic potential isn't used but when it is man is great . But the gruesomeness is captured very well though-out the game and gives a very involved feeling.
The fighting (main type of game play ) is excellent and i like how you can finish different enemy's using both holy and unholy methods which is a great touch i personally think it is great and the EXP gained ( holy or unholy) provides a good way the separate ranged and holy magic between meele combat and unholy magic . Once you get well into the games the moves become more and more interesting until a point where it feels like the creators got bored or couldn't come up with any more moves so they just put magic upgrades in or relic spots.
The puzzle solving part. I found some of the puzzles to be very simple and easy but others were more changeling but not over the top on difficulty, which i like because i hate it when your enjoying a game and get stuck on a puzzle part and have to use a walk through. But if the like games because of the difficult puzzle parts then id recommend something else even though the game play is brilliant.
all in all i love this game and the extra mode after you complete the game is pretty cool but it would of be great if you could have a multilayer on that mode and you could move the camera . but never the less a awesome game and i would recommend it especially if you like devil may cry and games like that

thanks for reading.

Rogue Warrior.

The Good.

A Solid Shooter at Core.
Brutal Take-downs.
Mickey Rourke provides a Good Voice-Over.

The Bad.

Pathetically Short at 2 Hours.
Story is Rubbish.
Generic Visuals and Art Design.
Poor Level Design.
Feels Lacking In Probably Every Area.

Rogue Warrior, ripped to shreds by the majority of reviewers. For good reason too, a game doomed since production. Rebellion ( Who Made the recent Aliens Vs Predator ) only had 9 months to make this game. Rogue Warrior is a disaster on most fronts, its playable and solid, but its just lacking everywhere.

Possibly the only redeeming points about this game are the achievements, Somewhat solid gameplay and Mickey Rourke's Voice Acting and Rap ( Trust me it's hilarious )

Now bad points, the words, Uninspired, FUGLY, and Rushed come to mind, It looks bad, The Story is rubbish ( about a guy going on a rampage after his team get killed ), Its just far too short, half the length of Modern Warfare 2, and that in my books was short as well. Onto another note the level design, very basic and straight forward, through a corridor, room full of enemies, another corridor, enemies again.... you get the picture.

All in All, its bad, not broken, just totally uninspired. Wow im using that word alot for this game....

The Good
Creepy Atmosphere
Slick Controls and Fluent
Great Animations
Good Graphics Most of the time
Great Sounds
Good Multiplayer
Gory =)

The Bad
A.I are absolute Muppets
The Graphics look mehish sometimes
A.I reactions are disappointing
Too Short
Poor Level Design

So after pulling out apparently the worst game in history Rogue Warrior, Rebellion have taken a stab at the Alien Vs Predator ( they did the original Aliens Vs Predator aswell ) and to be honest, with all the hate surrounding them, the game really isn't that bad.

A great multiplayer with virtually no lag and XP system which is pretty cool, the graphics are generally good indoors, outside, well less so. The animations are great, seeing a alien frantically rush towards you is an epic sight. The sound is true to the films as the pulse rifle sounds exactly how it should do. also the controls are slick.

Now for the bad.... The three Campaigns are all too short about 2-3 hours each, the level design is poor, and whilst the graphics look good on the inside levels and in the darkness, they show their stretches on the outside levels. And the A.I is as thick as hell. Also the people within the game don't react as they should do, If a predator grabbed you by the throat, you would be petrified and literally screaming you lungs in fear, same as if an alien did it aswell, but instead they silently whimper while you tear their spine, hmmm that's normal. They also don't react the way they should do other times either, like they try to run away from you sometimes, but they end up just banging on the door whimpering. Again.

It's a good violent Romp all the way through, a few flaws here and there, but my god it's fun.

In Summary :

Good:
Graphics are fantastic
Some Set Pieces are great
Missions are well designed
Animations are Sweet
Major Multiplayer Overhaul
Gameplay is still as slick as ever

Bad:
Some set pieces were disappointing
The 'Shocking and Disturbing' Mission was disappointing
Spec Ops Feels Recycled
Extremely Far Fetched
Poor Story Explaining
Too Short

After the brilliant Call of Duty 4, Infinity Ward have brought us their sequel, and to be honest in my opinion, I don't think it is as good as people say.

Firstly I'll start off with the good and the great. The Graphics are fantastic, I've never seen snow so good in my life in game, The Multiplayer has had a major overhaul, for better and for worse ( i'll get to that later ), also the campaign is a blast, great set pieces. also the animations are superb.

Now the bad, The story makes no sense whatsoever, you never really understand why 'this' and 'that' happened, Also the Story Campaign is far too short, around 4 and a half hours. As I said before some of the set pieces were amazing, some that were glorified in trailers were just disappointing especially the mission that was 'shocking'. Also the multiplayer has had a dramatic change, if you were a CoD 4 Fanatic, you may not enjoy this as much, as there are constant bombs going off and overpowered weapons and random perks. Also the new spec ops mode feels extremly recycled from the campaign. And Lastly Call of Duty Modern Warfare has kick the Realistic feel out the series.

Most People Love this game, so chances are you will like it too, but personally I think it could of been a lot better.

To Sum it Up....

The Good.

Near perfect Controls.
Good Gameplay
Great Graphics most of the time
Good Animations
Awesome Special Effects

The Bad

Weak Story
Too Short
Although the animations are good, there aren't enough.
Poor level Design
Poor Art Design
Some Bland Areas.

Shooters on the Wii are usually very bad, they are ported versions of the xbox or playstation, and have tacken on Wii controls. Fortunately the Conduit is built ground up for the Wii, and although it didn't live up to it's hype, It's Still really enjoyable.

The Conduit has near perfect controls, and probably has best controls for an FPS on the Wii. Another great feature about The Conduit are the Graphics, the amount of detail on the Characters and on the weapons are brilliant, also the lighting effects are great.

Unfortunately there are a fair share of drawbacks, The Conduit is far too short, it took me 4 hours and 10 mins. The level design is pretty poor and only gets interesting in the last two levels. Whilst I said before the graphics are good, some areas look very dated. The art design is poor aswell as there aren't many types of enemies and areas look sometimes bland. And lastly the conduit has a weak story, with little twists or any real development.

I had never heard of the sturmovik games before this one. But I have always like playing Flying Sims, such as Ace Combat and Hawx. But this one has to be one of the best I have played. The Missions are set in many different World War 2 battlefields such as Stalingrad, Berlin and even Dover.

The Graphics and Damage modeling in this game are fantastic, and Cockpit View looks even better. The Gameplay has an 'Arcade' mode and a 'Simulation' mode aswell, both are very different, and Simulation is extremely challanging, but never Frustrating.

Graphics 9/10
Slick, Clean and very Detailed, and the damage modelling is superb.

Gameplay 9/10
Feels epic and plays epic, Long campaign to keep you busy, plus a bot mode,

Multiplayer 9/10
Sometimes laggy, but otherwise Thrilling.

The Good
Lush Graphics
Great Campaign
Damage Modelling is Great
A Bot Mode
Two Different Play Styles For either the Hardcore or Casual Gamer

The Bad
Crap Voice Acting
Laughable Winston Churchill Impressions
The Same guy does all the storytelling voices, and impressions.

Epic Game, and should be played if anyone has a interest in either planes or WW2. But be prepared to put up with laughably bad voice acting.

Generally RTS don't work on consoles, apart from the exception ( Endwar, Command and Conquer) and this is another that does work very well. Ensemble create a stunning RTS in the Halo Universe, and pull it off brilliantly, it may not be as in depth as other RTS, but its a good starting point for the series ( hopefully, but Ensemble are no longer a company). The Graphics are slick, The Campaign is of decent length and the online multiplayer is awesome too. Although the game could of had a covenant campaign or flood campaign, and the flood aren't playable.

Graphics 8/10

Gameplay 8/10

Multiplayer 8/10

The Good
Fluent gameplay
Online is Good
Animations are good
Graphics are great
Cutscenes are immense
Story is canny cool

The Bad
No Covenant Campaign
No Flood playable Or Flood Campaign
Not a much depth as other RTS

A Fitting Ending to one of the Genre's best developers Ensemble

Wii sports is simple good fun and it comes free with the Wii, you can play tennis, baseball, bowling, boxing and golf. Plus a daily Wii fitness program. The graphics are clean and smooth, but lack any details, Some of the games are a bit too simple, but the multiplayer is great.

Graphics 7/10
Colourful, simple and smooth, but theres a real lack of details.

Gameplay 7/10
Simple good fun, a bit bare bones though.

Multiplayer 8/10
Good fun when playing with other people.

The Good

It's free
Multiplayer good
Overall Gameplay is Good
tennis and boxing is really good

The Bad

It doesn't feel like a full game
Motion Controls go mental sometimes
Graphics aren't very detailed

Overall it's a good little package that is free with the Wii, it may feel short, but you will probably be playing this as it is addictive and family fun.

Endwar is a solid game, but it has nice touches such as the Voice Commands, and The Graphics and Sound are Nice, But there are some serious flaws, such as how the game is quite boring, there is no real wow factor in it, also all the missions play the same, and also that you can only have a max of 5 units on the battlefield at once, and last but not least the Voice Command, whilst I did say it was a nice touch, it sometimes doesn't understand my accent ( which is North Eastern English) and the things you can say are a bit limited, and you also sound like a robot whilst saying them E.G Unit 1, Attack Hostile 1. And one more thing, there's basically no story, there's a little prelude before hand that tells you the beginning but that's about it.

Graphics 8/10
Nice Graphics all round, mind some Character models can look rough.

Gameplay 6/10
It's Solid, but a bit boring, and bare, and needs work

Multiplayer 7/10
Solid but can be frustrating if the other player is an 10 year old who doesn't understand RTS.

The Good
Voice Command Most of the time
Good Graphics And Sound
I Bought it for £8

The Bad
Voice Command some of the time
A Bit Boring
The Game Limits itself
Story is almost non existent

For £8 I got for What I paid for really.

the game is really good and enjoyable the environments are good but they used the annoying slightly to high wall or slightly too steep hill thing which i don't like. The quests are well thought out and are employable ,The main quest can be finished very quickly , but the other quest make up for that. expanding your hero is easy and simple to use and the different types of skills learnt in one type of ability can tie in nicely with another .There are a few problems with this game ,the loading time there is a lot of loading when you just walk into another town are area, and can become very annoying. Also the enemies are way too easy and i find that your better off not going for the skill route with your hero because it makes the game too easy. On the whole i think its a great game and can be enjoyed multiple times.

Firstly, to put it bluntly I realy disliked Halo 3' s campaigns and graphics and sound, but I loved the Halo 3 Multiplayer.

Halo 3 ODST has been improved since Halo 3, The Graphics and Art Design are so much better, the story feels more gritty and serious unlike the Halo 3 story. The sound has been greatly improved and the guns are far better to use. Now the new Halo multiplayer mode Firefight is pretty cool, its basically Horde but Halo. Unfortunately the multiplayer has been stripped straight from Halo 3 but with all the map packs. 1 more thing, no Flood! =D

Graphics 9/10
The Art Design is amazing and the Graphics are major improvement from Halo 3.

Gameplay 8/10
Same old Halo except its more realistic and you don't jump 10 ft or dual wield.

Multiplayer 7.5/10
Ripped Straight From Halo 3 and stuck in with all the maps and a new mode,

The Good
Epic Campaign
Gritty and more Mature Story
Mint Art Design
Great Graphics
Firefight is Awesome
No Flood!

The Bad
Multiplayer is Ripped straight from Halo 3
The Gameplay feels more or less the same as Halo 3 with minor Tweaks
Can't Dual Wield

Overall, this is the best Halo yet, and it hasn't even got Master Chief.

Gears of War 1 was amazing, at its time in 2006 it was possibly the best thing out then, now Gears of War 2 feels like Gears of War 1 on steroids. Everything that was big in Gears 1 has been beefed up, the campaign is action packed with a good story, new and old guns are still as good as ever, multiplayer needs to be tweaked so that it doesnt take as long to get a match, horde is really good. The graphics are still amazing although they aren't as dark as Gears 1.

Gameplay 9/10
Still the same old Gears Gameplay, which is amazing, new executions etc keepn the game fresh.

Graphics 9/10
One of the best in the game industry so far,

Multiplayer 9/10
Amazing with friends and Gears 2 also has Bots matches which is cool, although public matchmaking needs tweaking.

The Good
Cool Story
Awesome Gameplay
Awesome Multiplayer
Awesome Graphics
Horde
Bots Matches

The Bad
Multiplayer Matchmaking needs tweaking
Feels different to the first one, GOW1 was more survival, GOW2 feels slightly more all out war action, which works in good and bad ways.

Turning Point is a seriously flawed game, It feels like it had no polishing time whatsoever, its buggy, broken and Glitchy. And Unfortunately has no saving graces.

At first glance, Turning Point is a interesting concept; an alternative history in which Britain was invaded by Nazi Germany, and then America was invaded by Germany. But this is pure proof that a good concept doesn't always all ways pay off.

The whole gameplay is buggy, it feels tough to aim, and it sometimes randomly drags you when the enemy is moving. the animations are boring and look stupid, especially the death animation. The story is very bare bones, nothing to get wrapped into. Although some set pieces do look very good and have a very epic feel to them, unfortunately this is very rare.

Graphics and Art Direction wise, it's very poor in Turning Point, everything just looks so bland, from the characters, to the buildings, to the weapons it just looks so bland.

The Good
Great Concept
Some Good Set Pieces
Music is Pretty nice
Environmental Kills, whilst flawed, are funny
Achievements are plentiful
Some-what fun occasionally

The Bad
Broken, Buggy and Glitchy
Framerate Sometimes Can't Keep up
So-so Visuals
Boring Art Design
Lack-Luster Gun Sounds
Story is poor
Animations are just awful

Firstly if you have an itchy trigger finger, and like to rampage through a game guns blazing, and don't like stealth, then don't play this game, your better off playing Call Of Duty, but if you do like challenging stealth games, you'll love this. Your a British spy, and you follow her missions etc, the game is good fun, if you have the patience. the graphics are good, the lighting in this game is great, especially in the bunker. the stealth kills are very rewarding, usually ending in a bloody and brutal knife kill. The Music is dark and eerie, which is perfect for this game. also the game lasts a good length aswell (10 Hours).

Graphics 8/10
great graphics and great lightening makes this a moody and mysterious game

Gameplay 7/10
Hard as Hell, but rewarding, great kills, but crap shooting, and an good story, and fun once you know how to do it. But the crap A.I hamper this game,

The Good
Great Graphics
Great Stealth Kills
Good Story

The Bad
Crappy aiming
Rock Hard
You can't kill enemies from the front with a knife.

Good Game, But Stay Away if you don't like stealth games!

Wed, 02 Sep 2009 04:15:12 -0700 Suicide-Panda reviewed Wolfenstein for the Xbox 360... http://www.gamespot.com/wolfenstein/user-reviews/679210/platform/xbox360/ ...and gave it a 6.5.

To tell the truth, i was really exicted about wolfenstein, the trailers looked awesome etc, the guy at the shop let me have the game a day early which was cool. But as soon as i started playing it i was dissapointed, the graphics were dated, any the gameplay was sort of boring even with the powers, but there was 1 level which i thought was amazing, the level called 'Hospital', which had elements of suspense, horror and madness, unfortunately the game went down hill after that, the story is ok but it doesnt suck you in, the game does have a lot of fun action. When Wolfenstein Does it right, its bloody amazing, when it doesn't, its boring and repetitive.

Graphics 6/10
The Graphics are Dated, and look like graphics from call of duty 2, and that was nearly 4 years ago...

Gameplay 7/10
some great set pieces, but it doesnt do anything new,

Multiplayer N/A
Unfortunately i don't have Xbox Live

The Good
Some Great Set Pieces
Fun
Bloody and Violent =D

The Bad
an okish story which made little sense
dated graphics
nothing new
overall dissapointing

Considering i paid £39 for this, it wasent worth it....

Tue, 14 Jul 2009 09:30:21 -0700 Suicide-Panda reviewed Call of Duty 3 for the Xbox 360... http://www.gamespot.com/call-of-duty-3-working-title/user-reviews/670612/platform/xbox360/ ...and gave it a 6.0.

Think Back to Call of Duty 2, that was an amazing game on the Xbox 360, and personally it was one of my favourite. After Call of Duty 2, came this game Call of Duty 3, and I think its possibly the worst Call of Duty yet!, it feels, rushed, unfinished and tacked together. although the graphics are a lot better than Call of Duty 2, the gameplay or the other hand, is a lot worse. It strays to far from the original call of duty gameplay formula.the story is dissapointing, and it makes stereotypical views of different countries. The Worst Part of Call of Duty 3 is the multiplayer, its laggy, and takes ages to get into a match, and once you do get into one, it isn't very fun eithier.

Graphics 8/10
A Major Overhaulin from Call of Duty 2, but thats the only thing realy good in this game really.

Gameplay 6/10
Strays way too far from the original formula, story is bad, and isn't very interesting eithier, and its full of bugs.

Multiplayer 4/10
Simply, its terrible, laggy, takes ages to get a game, not fun, and cheap and random deaths.

The Good
Great Graphics
Awesome Sound

The Bad
Rubbish Story
Rubbish Multiplayer
Glitchy, buggy, you name it
strays way too far from the CoD Formula

If You Want a Good WW2 game, I can name a few such as Medal of Honor Airborne, Call Of Duty 2, Call of Duty World At War or Brothers In Arms Hell's
Highway. Just Don't Buy this unless you really really really need to.

Sun, 12 Jul 2009 05:02:55 -0700 Suicide-Panda reviewed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition for the Xbox 360... http://www.gamespot.com/the-elder-scrolls-iv-oblivion-game-of-the-year/user-reviews/670193/platform/xbox360/ ...and gave it a 8.5.

Oblivion is probably in the top 10 greatest RPG's ever, the game is packed with content and the extra content on Goty is even better, the visuals are great for an nearly 4 year old game. The Gameplay is extremely good awkward fighting if im honest, but it won't bother you that much. It also unfortunately has large number of bugs, especially in the PS3 versions.

Graphics 9/10
Great for it's time, and great artistic Design

Gameplay 8/10
There's a hell of a lot of content in this game, enough to last you to at least the 50 hour mark, even more, problem is, this game is quite glitchy and bugs are everywhere.

The Good
Great Open Ended World to Explore,
Artistic Design is great
Mass amount of Content

The Bad
Occasionally buggy in some areas of the game.
Voice Over People Used are too few and are often repeated
Awkward Fighting
The Story is So-so
