When BF3 was announced in 2010, I was interested in the game. After all, Battlefield Bad Company 2 was excellent & ready to tackle new game in the Battlefield franchise. Plus, I only played Bad Company games. Therefore, I'm not an "Battlefield veteran" like everybody else. After game trailers, t.v. commercials, previews, wishlist videos on YouTube website, ridiculous amount of hype, is Battlefield 3 the best first person shooter game of all time? Here's my pros & cons of the game.

Pros+

Online multiplayer mode was fun at the beginning.
Tons of weapons (if you get the Battlefield 3 premium DLC)
Classes are useful, but....
Co-Op mode where you unlock certain weapons to use in online MP is pretty cool & game developers need to take some notes.
Server browser in a video game console is nice.
Dedicated servers is a big bonus in today's FPS games.
You earn XP points for everything & that's awesome!

Neutral
I didn't buy the Battlefield 3 premium, so I can't comment on how great or terrible it is.

Cons
Single player of that game is the worst of all time
Quick Time Events in a first person shooter game, DICE?! You've got to be kidding me!
Online multiplayer mode got significantly worse after patches/updates
Input lag play an large role & some of the players couldn't take anymore.
Where's the combat training mode for players to practice on how to pilot fighter jets or helicopters?
USAS-12 with frag rounds were extremely overpowered to the point everybody in their siblings were using it.
Battlefield community whine far too much about everything
BF3's class were one sided 85% of the time & Bad Company 2 got it right in that department
Destruction 2.0 wasn't like Bad Company 2 (it's not an deal breaker).
Rent a servers option
Squad system has been broken since the beta
Hit detection went from perfect (pre-patch early in the game) into COD Black Ops garbage (post-patch)
VOIP PS3 chat is still broken till this day

I know hardcore BF3 fans will rip this review into an new one & call me an "hater". But, hear me out: anytime it has input lag (DICE/EA telling you that it's your current television, not the game), DICE/EA don't even care addressing the real problems & unrealistic expectations (being labeled an "Call Of Duty" killer), fans will be disappointed. To make it worse, EA/DICE had to put that stupid rent a servers option in the game. Battlefield 3 could have been light years better than Bad Company 2, but it failed big time. Therefore, it's the most overrated first person shooter game of all time (even surpassing Call Of Duty 4 & that's saying something). I won't be buying BF4 until DICE can prove me wrong.

Sun, 29 Jul 2012 11:18:59 -0700 BigCat2K20 reviewed Transformers: War for Cybertron for the PlayStation 3... http://www.gamespot.com/transformers-war-for-cybertron/user-reviews/797954/platform/ps3/ ...and gave it a 6.0.

Transformers have been very successful on television (Cartoon Network & etc). As for live action trilogy movie, it's a whole different story altogether. I've been a fan of the series since childhood & never thought Transformers video game would come to reality. When Transformers WFC was announced, the fans were excited & hope it'll have success like Batman Arkham series. It was released on June 22nd, 2010 & most Transformers fans loved it. There were people in the minority that didn't like the game for it was too much like Gears Of War clone & everything else. What did I think about the game? Stick around, here's my pros & cons of Transformers War For Cybertron

Pros+
High Moon Studios did an good job on the main story.
Players can play both sides of single player mode between Autobots & Decepticons
Autobots' side of the story was good, but...
Players can get to play their favorite TF characters in sinlge player mode
Voice acting was excellent
Escalation game mode was so great that it gives Gears Of War's Horde Mode run for it's money & puts Treyarch's COD zombies to shame
Players can create their own transformer in Competitive online multiplayer mode

Cons
Decepticons side of the story of take control of planet Cyberton was boring, dull, typical & uninteresting
Players will run into glitches & bugs while playing single player mode
matchmaking in online multiplayer mode was really bad
Overall competitive online multiplayer mode was extremely horrible for it's nothing more than COD 4/Gears Of War 2 rip-off
If I want to play a fighting game online, I'll go play Super Street Fighter IV, VF 5 Final Showdown or King Of Fighters XIII. Why? Competitive online multiplayer mode felt more like one sided with melee kills instead of different ways to take out opposition.
Graphics weren't all that

I know hardcore fans of Transformers War For Cyberton will say this game is excellent, instant classic & I should have been fair. But, the game has setbacks (list of cons) & it's just another average game. When will game developers stop adding killstreaks & perks into shooters?

Sat, 09 Jul 2011 16:10:50 -0700 BigCat2K20 reviewed Duke Nukem Forever for the PlayStation 3... http://www.gamespot.com/duke-nukem-forever/user-reviews/769969/platform/ps3/ ...and gave it a 7.5.

I'm back with an new review & this time is Duke Nukem Forever for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 & PC. It was released close to a month ago (6/14/2011), gamers (let alone Duke Nukem community) wanted to get their hands on DNF. By the way, I'm NOT an Duke Nukem fan at all. But, this game got smoked by Mainstream Gaming Media & some hardcore Duke Nukem fans for dated graphics, garbage humor, boring gameplay, terrible platforming stages, repetitive dialog (like every single game doesn't have that), Duke Nukem isn't cool at all & degrading women. Some gamers really like the game for what it is & slam it is wrong. The story is about Duke Nukem put the smack down on the aliens 12 years ago on Duke Nukem 3D. 12 years later, they're back to take over Earth & snatch Duke's women. You can take away everything from him, but women? That's where they've cross the line with him. What do I think about the game? Stick around to find out. Remember, this is MY opinion on the game. Don't hate on me just because your opinions are different than mine.

Pros:
+interact almost everything
+cool power up items such as Steroids, Beer & Holoduke
+It feels & plays old school
+platforming in a First Person Shooter game is different
+Challenging, but fair
+Graphics isn't that bad, but....
+Weapons pack some serious damage to evil aliens

Cons:
-Loading times will be a drag
-Graphics should have been improved
-one-liners will annoy gamers to the point of turning the T.V. volume down
-Enemy A.I. can be really dumb sometimes
-You can only carry two weapons & that's a drag
-Underwater level is stupid

I feel that mainstream gaming media was more offended by Duke Nukem video game character than the game itself. I've heard couple of them didn't finish the game & STILL pound the game into submission. In the end, just don't listen to them (let alone trust them) for they'll play the double standard card to the perfection & won't get the whole truth about the game. Let's not forget that so called gaming reviewers on YouTube smoked the game as well. I bet they only play it about three hours & trade it back to Gamestop. Not only don't listen to mainstream gaming media, don't listen to the so called gaming reviewers on YouTube for they're just as bad as mainstream gaming media sometimes. How is it the game gets slammed for being bad & other games are just as bad or worst (Homefront & Crysis 2 for example)? They're nothing more than an Call Of Duty fan & want games to be super duper easy. If you want to play a game with platform levels, long single player mode & have a good old time, borrow or rent DNF. Duke Nukem Forever is fun (even the plot is corny), platforming stages are awesome & a blast to play.

Sat, 09 Apr 2011 12:49:04 -0700 BigCat2K20 reviewed Crysis 2 for the PlayStation 3... http://www.gamespot.com/crysis-2/user-reviews/761589/platform/ps3/ ...and gave it a 5.0.

I've never played first Crysis & it's on PC. Therefore, I can't comment on it at all. But, I did rent Crysis 2 for PS3 so I can give you gamers my opinion on it. Does it stand out from other shooters? Is it the best shooter in 2011? Is it a Call Of Duty/Halo killer? Or is it just another First Person Shooter with no fresh ideas & gimmick materials that developers give the players to abuse over online? Remember gamers, this is my opinion. It ain't my fault that mainstream gamers can't handle an opinion. I want you guys to stick around & find out:

Pros:

Ability to have a choice between going rambo or be Sam Fisher in the Nano-Suit.

Sounds of the game is second to none

18 chapters in that game, took me 9 hours & 24 minutes to complete it. I love that it's really long, most shooters would be like 7 hours or less.

You can "customize" the Nano-suit between armor, stealth & power after killing the Ceph (let alone collecting samples of them after killing them)

Instant Action aka Free For All is fun when players who don't abuse the Nano-suit

There are six game modes, but....

Cons

Storyline was really perplexing to the point of didn't make any sense.

Best looking graphics on console ever?! Are you gamers for real? Shoot, Shadow Of The Colossus looks 10 million times better Crysis 2

Customizing Nanosuit 2.0 will get boring after a while

Online multiplayer mode is really horrible for developers adding extra materials that players will abuse to the point of making others quit & don't want to play as much, trying too hard to be a COD/Halo killer, hit detection is so bad that it makes COD Black Ops look like a winner & how you get killed by watching the kill-cam doesn't make any sense at all.

Alot of bugs & glitches in the game

Spawn system is so bad that you'll get killed within 5 seconds into the match by a grenade launcher or I'll spawn right next to an enemy.

No dedicated servers, just peer 2 peer & that's just a real shame.

If you want to play barebones game mode, you'll have to keep playing until reaching level 29 for it. Why play a mode that should have been in with other game modes in the first place?

I know hardcore so-called Crysis 2 fans/mainstream gamers will rip this review in half, but please hear me out. Anytime you've a game that has hype, expectations & doesn't deliver because of flaws, you're going to get Crysis 2. What's worse is that Homefront has dedicated servers! So, what's Crysis 2 excuse? Four years of development & still turned out to be a mediocre game, really? To add more insult of this "excellent" game, Crysis 2 has more bugs than a run down Holiday Inn hotel! It feels nothing more than a Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare/Halo Reach ripoff. I'm tired of video games being rushed out the door just to make a quick buck & developers don't take the time to iron out some things that might be a problem down the road. I'm also tired of gamers arguing other gamers this or that game takes "skill". Today's shooters don't take any skills for developers add too much junk (in short translation, more doesn't mean better sometimes) in the game for players to abuse them. I'm happy I didn't waste $60 dollars on this game & rent it is the best option. Crysis 2 isn't for me at all & forcing myself to play it will add more frustration.

Original Mass Effect came out three years ago & blew everybody's mind (including myself). The game had almost everything that any RPG fans could ask for: excellent story, sweet graphics, gameplay was good & incredible voice acting. Mass Effect 2 came out nine months ago & is it improvement over original Mass Effect? Here's my pros & cons:

Pros-Excellent story once again for it feels like Star Wars Episode V Empire Strikes Backesque, graphics are an improvement over first game, more characters, gameplay is great, weapon & character customizations, players are traveling from one galaxy to another, it lets you make your own decisions ( even it's a tough one), sounds of Mass Effect voice actors, it makes you care about the crew and relationship is real again, there are tons of side missions as well.

Cons-mining scan is boring & it'll feel like more of a third person shooter than action RPG sometimes.

Mass Effect 2 is the best Xbox 360 RPG game on the market & any RPG should check it out. Mass Effect hardcore fans don't need to read this review for they're still playing it!

Wed, 17 Nov 2010 11:36:56 -0800 BigCat2K20 reviewed Call of Duty: Black Ops for the PlayStation 3... http://www.gamespot.com/call-of-duty-black-ops/user-reviews/745356/platform/ps3/ ...and gave it a 6.5.

Everybody thought Modern Warfare 2 was the best Call Of Duty game of all time for the first month of last year. Unfortunately, major flaws of MW2 were exposed, spread like a wild fire & never been put out. Treyarch are the same developers who made COD 2: Big Red One, COD 3 & World At War. A year later, Call Of Duty Black Ops is here & every gamer is playing it right now. The game takes place between Vietnam/Cold War era & Alex Mason is the main character. When it comes to Treyarch & Call Of Duty series, they've never got it right. Why? All three single player campaign modes were terrible & World At War's online multiplayer mode went from being fun to downright frustrated to the point of being unplayable. The 5 billion dollar question is Call Of Duty Black Ops the best game of the series since COD 4 or is it worse than Modern Warfare 2? Here's my pros & cons of COD Black Ops:

Pros-Conspiracy theories & secret stuff in the single player mode, voice acting, enemy A.I. is strong & smart (50 percent of the time), single player mode is longer than 3 hours (it took me 7 to 8 hours to beat it), Dead Ops Arcade is tons of fun, Combat Training mode (a great tool to use to get ready for real online mulitplayer mode & want to learn map knowledge). Maps are good for the most part (Jungle & Launch are the best), zero stopping power perk (without it, players can win the gunfight), there are three playlist for online mulitplayer mode, Barebones is fun & Online multiplayer mode is good, but....

Neutral-Wager mode sounds fun, but it's for hardcore COD players who want to put their COD points up for grabs.

Cons-Single player mode cut-scenes is like watching a Michael Bay movie, checkpoints is really bad, enemy A.I. in Modern Warfare 2 is 10X times better than the ones in Black Ops, sounds of explosions & guns are terrible to the max, Treyarch should be ashamed of themselves on graphics (it's 2010, not 2000), laggy connection 70 percent of the time to the point you're be leaving the match for cheap deaths, Hanoi, Array & Nuketown are the worst maps in COD Black Ops & enemy players clean you up with less than 5 bullets after you put whole round on him/her (that problem still exists & due to laggy connection). RC Car kill-streak should have never been in this game in the first place for it's way too powerful at 3 & everybody is going for RC Car. Playing zombies isn't fun at all & should never be in Call Of Duty series. Players will use cheap stuff & that's something buyers want to think about. Commando lunge knife is back & it's flat-out annoying to a fault. Why is it grenade launchers & frag grenades is underpowered, but claymores are severely overpowered? One Last thing, spawn system is really bad to the point of one player will spawn at the enemy's location

Call Of Duty Black Ops is just another COD game with cheap stuff that players use to pad their stats. It's an average game, not a mind-blowing game like the whole world wants you to believe nor worst game some people make it out to be. COD fanboys will be upset by this review, it's my opinion & I don't hate this game. I'm pointing out the pros & cons of Black Ops so gamers won't be fooled by hype. Is it more balance than Modern Warfare 2? Yes. But, if IW made Modern Warfare 2 like what Treyarch did with Black Ops, it would have been a different story. At the end of the day, Call Of Duty Black Ops is nothing more than Modern Warfare 2 remix with Vietnam/Cold War era & same old game players been playing since Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Infinity Ward doesn't disappoint their fans when it comes to Call Of Duty series & Modern Warfare 2 wasn't exception at all. Before the release, they've two major conversational situations to deal with: grenade spamming video with Baseball pitcher Cole Hamel & "No Russian" during single player mode (after the release of the game). I did played the Xbox 360 verison on hardened mode & it's tough. Once again, I find myself renting MW2 again & this time for Playstation 3. Most gamers didn't like MW 2 for overall package of it. Some will say single player mode was too short, while most of them have huge issues with online multiplayer mode. The story takes place five years later from first MW & gamers will switch between American to British soldier. What do I think about Modern Warfare 2? Please stick around to find out. Remember gamers, this review is my opinion alone.

Pros

+Single player mode was good for enemy AI were extremely tough & didn't rely on grenades to get easy kills.

+Sounds & music of Modern Warfare 2 was great.

+Graphics is spot on

+Online multiplayer is the same as COD 4, but most of new weapons, killstreaks & perks (Scavenger is my favorite perk & FAMMS is an great assault rifle to use).

+Fun online multiplayer when you're on the right team who knows their role on different game modes on MW2 (I'm at level 24), sort of...

+Special Ops Co-op mode is fun when two players join for the thrill of it. Coolest part of all is when IW brought back some of the COD 4 MW stages into Modern Warfare 2.

+Controls are the same as Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, so it's an great thing. If ain't broke, don't fix it.

Cons

-Story weights FOX's 24 way too much. At the end of the day, it makes less sense than ever.

-Ally A.I. can & will be clueless 60 percent of the time

-Single player mode is ridiculously short (I did beat it on 360 verison on hardened mode & almost accomplish doing it in ONE day).

-Online Multiplayer is definitely unbalance for IW added questionable items in the game. Such as Commando Perk (it makes ZERO sense, melee combat is broken for players don't have to use their weapons & have teleportation), Tactical Nuke is the worst kill-streak entire Call Of Duty series for it makes -100% sense half of the weapons are overpower, deathstreaks, Akimbo perk with dual-wielding shotguns (Model 1887) where players killing others in 100 feet away (what?), spawn system is the worst in Call Of Duty series for inconsistency (let alone spawn killers), magic bullets (due to lags) WITHOUT stopping power perk bugs me to death, immature kids can be extremely good for just camping, Akimbo or Commando perks alone.

-Camping (I don't mind some of it, too much will destroy the game all together) in MW 2 is wildly out of control.

-Little to zero teamwork on Capture The Flag, Demolition, Domination, Headquarters Pro, Sabotage, Search & Destroy. You'll have more losses than victories when you play with random players.

-Lags during online multiplayer mode is strictly bad, hidden so well to the point when you're putting 8 to 10 bullets to an enemy player & only takes less than 3 bullets for that player, you're respawning for cheap death

I know most hardcore modern warfare fans will destroy this review overall. But hear me out: anytime MW2's story makes no sense at all, single player mode is short, half of the weapons are too powerful, few perks are game-breaker (One Man Army & Commando are an true examples) & bad online multiplayer, most gamers will be turn off by those things & would want to go play something else. I'm an gamer who likes plays COD series, but Infinity Ward needs to modify online multiplayer mode where most gamers can go back & enjoy it. At the end of the day, its an overrated game (not more than an average) for the things I've just said & felt really sloppy. If you're sick of playing an game where teamwork doesn't exists, want something different where you'll be rewarded with teamwork, zero perks & communication are keys to victory, go for Battlefield Bad Company 2 or MAG (PS3). If you are an gamer who thinks teamwork, communication are an waste of time & gimmick, knock yourself out with Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. It makes any gamer wonder what in the world IW was doing for two long years while this game was in the works. I felt that they should have put an beta for multiplayer mode (just like DICE with Battlefield Bad Company 2) before releasing the game worldwide & get feedback from gamers.

Wed, 27 Jan 2010 11:07:31 -0800 BigCat2K20 reviewed Killzone 2 for the PlayStation 3... http://www.gamespot.com/killzone-2/user-reviews/704449/platform/ps3/ ...and gave it a 7.0.

Well, I'm back with another review & this time is "Killzone 2" exclusively for Playstation 3. It came out on February 27 of last year & it's fanbase were waiting for anticipation KZ2. The first one (boring single player mode, story was mixed bag, graphics was horrible) was nothing more an mediocre game that was trying too hard to be an "Halo Killer" & it fail miserably. I rented at Blockbuster, beat it last night & played 7 online matches. So, what do I think about it? Stick around & here's my review of "Killzone 2".

Pros

Story is good for it's heroes vs evil doers (ISA vs Helgast) type of thing. KZ2 didn't go "Gears Of War" & make it all about the main protagonist instead of focusing on the entire story. This time, the fight is on Helgasts' home planet Helghan & capture their leader Scolar Visari.

Graphics is excellent & KZ2's designer did an great job on it.

Online Multiplayer is just pure chaos & fun. There are five different game types of it such as assassination, search & retrieve, search & destroy, bodycount and capture & hold. One more thing, 32 players online!

Gameplay is good for Guerrilla Games put in an cover system in a first person shooter, that's different & fresh. I wish some game developers would do it. Helgast are tough to kill & that makes this game fun (sort of).

Cons

Characters in story/single player mode are nothing more than stereotypical meat balls who can't put together an sentence without insulting each other's moms. Killzone 1 had interesting characters (can't stand Rico for he's annoying & meathead to the core!) that you can play. On KZ2, you're stuck with one main character

Ally A.I. ISA are useless 85 percent of the time for this game forces you to go Rambo on enemy A.I. for they get shot so many times. As for enemy A.I., wave after wave in the second half of KZ2 (Chapter 10 was horrendous) & it's ridiculous.

Controls is very sluggish & slow to the point that if an enemy gets the jump on you, it's game over. Oh there's an minigame that you do in order to open doors on PS3's Sixaxis Wireless Controller, is weak & tacky!

Loading times are ridiculously long to the point that gamers are thinking, "hmm, the game just froze & have to restart the console".

I know Killzone 2/PS3 fanboys will crush me for this review. Listen, Killzone 2 isn't an bad game at all. The online multiplayer is tremendously fun, single player mode is challenging for enemy A.I. will make it so & interesting trophies to unlock (Safari Hunter trophy to achieve is downright stupid). But it isn't all that great for the cons I just said. Overall, KZ2 is overrated (good, but not mind blowing like gamers say it is).

What's up gamers? This review is all about U2: AT. It's also an exclusivity on Playstation 3 & sequel to 2007's mega-hit Uncharted Drake's Fortune. Before I play this game, it was completely overrated from the get-go, Uncharted fanbase had went over the top by hype it to the heavens & felt that U2 was just another good, but not excellent game. I play the demo three times, rented it at Blockbuster this past week, beat it, & was dead wrong about it. Remember gamers, it's my opinion alone. If you don't like it, that's an YOU problem & need to check yourself into an hospital! Stick around to find out; here's my review of Uncharted 2 Among Thieves for PS3.

Pros: Story is incredible for it's about Nate Drake on a journey to the truth of Marco Polo's lost fleet. I'm not to tell you rest of the story for gamers need to play it to find out. It feels like I'm watching an movie, but it's not like Metal Gear Solid 4 with ridiculously long cut scenes & more women in the gaming industry should be involved like Uncharted 2 AT. Sound is top notch with incredible voice actors, guns & everything else. Gameplay is excellent for you can do so much more than run-n-gun like most gamers are saying. You can climb, solve puzzles (if gamers are up to it) & do stealth (Uncharted haters whine about it feature & it's stupid talk from them). Graphics was real nice, enough said.

+/- Nice multiplayer but haven't play it yet.

Cons: Couple of issues such as single player mode is short & gamers can beat it within an three days or less. Stealth mission where museum guards are clueless, story feels more like an movie than an game, it can be too easy sometimes & stealth technique is mess up.

This game is one of the best on Playstation 3, period. It's like Tomb Raider & Indiana Jones combine with greatness behind it. Some gamers feel that it's overrated, while others feel that it's underrated & needs more attention. For me, it's great, not an masterpiece game like most gamers are saying. If you're an PS3 owner & looking for an great game, Uncharted 2 Among Thieves is for you. Always rent it before buying or borrow from an friend.

Dead Space is an survival horror/third person shooter that was developed by Visceral Games, published by E.A. & was released on October 14th last year (2008). I didn't know jack about this game until it was released. I rented it from blockbuster, but didn't finish it. Seven months later, I brought it at Gamestop this month & beat it. How do I feel about it? Please stick around to find out & here's my pros/cons of Dead Space for Xbox 360 & Playstation 3.

Pros
+Storyline is fantastic. It's about an crew who goes to an space station called USG Ishimura (it's malfunctioned) to check it out. They find out that something's wrong & most of them were killed off or infected with an virus that transforms them into an grotesque monstrosities called Necromorphs (an alien organism that feeds off the dead & uses them).
+Gamers take control of main protagonist Isaac Clarke (doesn't have an special powers) to square off against necromorphs.
+Heads Up Display (HUD) is gone from this game & developers put in holographic projections to make easier for gamers.
+RPG elements in this game. For example, suits, weapons, RIG (health bar in the back of the suit) & other things
+Weapons are crazy & upgrading them makes it even more powerful than before. Plasma Cutter, Line Gun & Ripper are my favorites.
+Enemies are challenging to kill off & I like it!
+Strategic dismemberment (go after their arms & legs) is an must in order to kill off necromorphs & save ammo.
+Graphics are excellent
+It took me about 12 hours to complete the game, you'll face some diverse puzzles in some stages, mini boss & boss monsters who are fun to kill off.
+Music of this game is great!
+Unlike Resident Evil 5, players can actually aim, shoot & walk at the same time.

Cons
-Dead Space solo mode campaign should be a little bit longer
-Close combat isn't great & developers should do something about making Isaac Clarke an little more flexible.
-It's repetitive to some degree, but EVERY single game is!

Dead Space is the best survival horror (never played any of the genre game before until D.S.) game I've played ever. It's an combination of Resident Evil & Silent Hill roll into one. I know EA makes bad games sometimes, but give them credit where credit is due. It's an classic game & I'll be playing it on Halloween.

Mon, 05 Oct 2009 14:42:33 -0700 BigCat2K20 reviewed Halo 3: ODST for the Xbox 360... http://www.gamespot.com/halo-3-odst/user-reviews/685029/platform/xbox360/ ...and gave it a 7.0.

Two years after "Halo 3" was released, gamers thought Halo series needed an break. Unfortunately, Bungie made another Halo game (besides Halo Wars) & it was ODST exclusively for Xbox 360. It was released on 9/22/09 last month, gamers & Halo fans were truly split 50/50 down the line. Half of them felt that it was too short (single player campaign), nothing more than an expansion & doesn't deserve full $60 dollars in the first place. Other half felt that Halo 3 ODST was different, Master Chief-less, new mode (Firefight) & original Halo 3 multiplayer with 24 maps are WORTH every single penny. Remember gamers; my review is MY opinions, alright? If you can't handle it, that's an YOU problem! I rented it at Blockbuster last week & what do I think about it? Stick around to find out. Here's my PROS & CONS of Halo 3 ODST for Xbox 360.

PROS
Storyline was great for different, fresh & human characters with an personality for once. It's about The Rookie got lost with his teammates & it's on him to get back together with them to help them in the fight against Covenant. Gamers play as "The Rookie" & switch to other squad-mates (night & day). Weapons were the same for the most part, expect for silenced SMG & pistol. Controls were same as Halo 3, but press X button for VISR feature. A.I. teammates are useful most of the time.

Cons
Where's Elites in the story mode? I can't stand the Brutes for they're dumb as box of rocks. Don't let human A.I. drive for they're still terrible as ever. Firefight is for friend matchmaker only.

It does feel more like an expansion than an full game & can understand why most gamers fell that way.
Firefight mode is an gimmick for me

In the end of the day, it's good, but not an great game & gamers will play that "it's nothing more than an expansion game" card all day every day. I love the single player, but Firefight mode is trash, ripped off from Gears Of War 2 & other games as well. If you're an Halo fan, it's an must buy. For everybody else, it's straight up rental or avert at all cost!

Call Of Duty World At War is an FPS game developed by Treyarch, published by Activision to released on PC, PS3, Wii & Xbox 360 last year. They've used I.W.'s COD 4 MW Engine. This is the most violent game entire Call Of Duty series for blood & gore factor & mature language as well. You've two stories that you play as American (Private Miller of USMC 1st Division) & Russian soldier (Private Dimitri Petrenko of the Soviet Red Army). I rented it twice (April & May) & brought on Father's Day. I had two things in mind: can Treyarch screw COD WAW the way they did it with COD 3 & will it be an decent game? Most gamers didn't like it for been there, done that gameplay. Some of them like this game alot. Is Call Of Duty World At War another WWII that gamers will play for couple of months & let it collect dust? Or, will it be an great game? Here's my pros & cons on Call Of Duty World At War.

Pros
+Story is good, but not as great as COD 2
+Voice acting (Kiefer Sutherland & Gary Oldman)
+Weapons (sort of)
+15 missions on campaign mode (it took me two days to beat it)
+P.O. Locke as playable for ONE mission called "Black Cats"
+Gameplay is good
+65 levels on the online multiplayer mode, prestige is when a player reaches to 65th level, you trade it for an prestige badge & start from scratch. Remember you've an choice & 10 weapon slots.
+Free For All, Team Deathmatch, Headquarters, Domination, Sabotage, Capture The Flag, War (it's new mode CTF & Headquarters combine) & other modes.
+Online multiplayer is an blast to play (I'm on 43rd level)

Cons
-Campaign mode has the been there, done that feel
-Enemy A.I. are either predictable or dumb as box of rocks
-Allied A.I. are just as dumb for they'll get themselves killed
-Online multiplayer vehicles on large maps will drive gamers insane
-MP40 is beyond overpowered, broken & most gamers will choose that weapon over rest of them.
-Too much camping (I don't mind snipers at all)
-Glitches in the online multiplayer mode
-Nazi Zombies is trash. If I want to eliminate them, I do that on Dead Space or Resident Evil 5!

This game is between good (online multiplayer mode) & bad (single player mode is wildly predictable). Anytime you've issues that I just talked about, it'll ruin the game play experience for most people. It's alot of fun & gamers should give it an shot by renting or borrow it (family member or friend).

Star Wars The Force Unleashed is an game that storyline/plot takes place between Episode III Revenge Of The Sith & Episode IV A New Hope gap line. I won't spoil rest of the story for most people out there, but it's about Darth Vader training the apprentice/starkiller. I love the storyline for it's star wars, plot twist between both characters later in the game. I've played the game about couple of months ago & what do I think about it? Well, stick around & find out more about it. Here's my review/pros & cons on Star Wars The Force Unleashed for Xbox 360.

Pros
+Storyline/Plot
+Gameplay makes you feel like an true jedi or sith (Force powers)
+Apprentice character
+Music
+Voice Acting
+RPG elements with making Apprentice stronger
+Character model graphics look impressive, but....
+Quick Time Events isn't like Ninja Blade (tons of them!) & that's an excellent thing!
+Boss characters are great, but....

Cons
-Boss characters can be cheap at times to the point you'll be frustrated
-Graphics isn't the best looking game
-Mini boss fights are annoying to a fault
-Star Wars TFU is super duper short with only nine missions
-Bad platform

In the end of the day, this game is truly underrated for critics & gamers rip the daylights out of it for everything in S.W.T.F.U. As for star-destroyer scene, you can't destroy it in five seconds for it takes time & patience to do so. I'll wait to buy this game when it's $14.99 or less at Best Buy or Blockbuster in the future. It's not worth what the price says right now. Remember gamers, it's my opinion on this game alone (if you can't handle it, tough luck).

Street Fighter IV came out on arcade last summer in Japan & here as well. It was released four weeks ago from today & hyped to high heaven for a very good reason. But some Street Fighter fans (myself) were very worried how it'd turned out. I've been an Street Fighter fan since early 1990's & always been an fun game to play. Does this game revive fighting genre or it's just another fighting game that'll be collecting dust after few months of playing it? Here's my pros & cons of "Street Fighter IV" for Xbox 360.

Pros

Great gameplay (Focus Attack & Revenge Gauge)
Four New Characters (sort of)
Anime Cut-scenes
Great Sounds, but...

Neutral

Great Online Multiplayer, but couple of idiots who use one move again & again
Doing an ultra moves on certain characters can be difficult at times

Cons

Seth is the CHEAPEST boss character in a long time
Directional pad stinks
Capcom caved into Street Fighter fanboys by putting Dan & Sakura instead of different fighters
C.Viper is useless against Seth & Rufus isn't all that great.
Blanka's voice is jacked up!

Despite those flaws that I listed, it's still an great game to play. But I'd rent it before forking over 60 dollars plus tax. Better yet, borrow it from an family member or friend to try it out. In my opinion, Street Fighter IV does more than revive it's fighing genre from the grave, it'll be around for years to come. Remember this, it's my opinion (if you don't like it, then tough luck for you).

I've been playing racing games since F-Zero from Super Nintendo days. It's an genre that gamers will rent it for the weekend or buy it. Some critics think that the genre itself is boring and losing it's magic. I rented this game about an year half ago and it's good, fun racing game. Do I think it's buy or rental? Well, Here's Project Gotham Racing 4 for Xbox 360.

Pros
Easy to control cars & motorcycle
Career mode is very long
Kudos by winning some race
Excellent tracks from all over the world
Weather plays an huge factor
Sound effect of racing is good

Neutral
Good online multiplayer, but haven't play it

Cons
Using the motorcycle can be an hit or miss
soundtrack on P.G.R. IV is pure trash
Zero damage system on cars
It gets boring after while

I do think it's an good, but not an great racing game. There are better racing games on the market you should look into such as Forza Motorsport series and GRID. It's an rental at best!

This game is about an mercenary working with an rich guy name Ramon Solano and it takes place in a modern day Venezuela in 2010. Unfortunately, he betrays you, get shot in the buns and want revenge for not paying you. Play one of the three characters; Mattias Nilsson, Christopher Jacbos, or Jennifer Mui to start the game. You'll meet different characters (some of them, you'll work for them in order to get pay) while doing missions later on. Fiona Taylor is in this game for the second time and some people feel that she's annoying to a fault. Most professional video game critics just smack this game with an tire iron and PS2 owners/mercenaries fans aren't alone either. What do I think about Mercenaries 2 World In Flames for Playstation 2 verison? I rented this game about two months ago, beat it and it's just flat-out trash.

Pros
+Three favorite main characters return
+Build an Private Mililtary Company to take down Solano
+You can swim, finally!!! Water doesn't kill you anymore
+170 types of vehicles
+Button pressing minigames is an cool feature and earn points
+Five different factions with two new groups; U.P. and R.P.
+Landscape is a size of state of Texas and Alaska combine
+Calling air strikes is still fun

Cons
-Story is an hit or miss
-Ally A.I. are about as smart as Kimbo Slice!
-Enemy A.I. are brainless
-Graphics look beyond terrible (P.I. Studios, what are you doing)
-Couldn't complete some of the missions for bugs
-Significant glitches in the game
-Weapons are punchless
-Respawning enemies in main mission

Anytime an game has negatives (some of them are major), it's going to get an bad score. I'm not an graphics fanatic, it doesn't make the game and it's Playstation 2, but it should have been better than that. World In Flames can't touch Playground Of Destruction and that's the truth.

I don't give tens easily. The fact that the original came out more than 15 years ago, and this is still as addictive as ever, and the gameplay is even better, which is really what matters in a SF game, is what makes my day.

I understand about mixed reactions about the art, but this is really a matter of opinion. At first, I didn't like the art of 3rd Strike either, but I got used to it. The thing that bugs me the most is Ken, he fights with a smile or a smirk, it looks weird, really weird.

I also don't like the fact that they didn't add 8-button functions, only 6, so that we could have specific keys for PPP and KKK.

The best thing in the game is the fact that all the characters are fun and useful, because their moves have been so carefully altered in a way that doesn't feel cheap. Yesterday, I was having so much fun with Zangief and Dhalsim--which IMO, where the hardest to master in SF2. I was really good with Dhalsim in SF@3 and SF EX+@1&3. And now I can use him again and have fun.
The alternative inputs don't hurt either.

I bought the game on XBL, and I am in love with the soundtrack. (Street Fighter games with the best soundtracks, IMO: SF 3rd Strike (the whole package), SF@3 (almost all of them), and that track from SF@2 grass field level where Sagat and Ryu duel)

It is fabulous, yesterday, after I was done paying I fell asleep listening to Vega's track, it's the best in the game, with Deejay's as the runner-up.
(You can download the soundtrack here:
http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=19657

A game that has been played for that long, and there's so end in sight, deserves a ten in my book.

[Obs: 10/10 doesn't mean perfect IMO, it's just my degree of satisfaction, and my own personal indulgence. It has to do with the quality of the product, the points that the product excels, the depth, the overall value, and the guilty pleasure (most importantly)]

Thank you, Capcom

There are some good sandbox games such as Mercenaries, Saints' Row & Grand Theft Auto series. This is the first GTA game I've ever played on any consoles. Alot of critics were giving this game an superb scores (5 out of 5 or 10 out of 10) and so fourth. GTA fanboys love it while others abhor it to the core. What do I think about the fourth installment? Here's my review of Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC.

Pros
Excellent story (it reminds me of "The Sopranos and "The Wire")
Niko Bellic is one of the best main characters in video game history
Cover system
Foes react to gunshots and finding cover
Different path missions brings deal or revenge
Gameplay is good, in the first half of the game
nice side missions, but...
There are alot things to do, but doesn't always mean it's good

Neutral
Nice Mulitiplayer, but haven't play it
Pac-man like police chase is fun, but it gets old quickly

Cons
Glitches on gun play during gameplay
Driving was horrible and susceptible
Most sports cars do suck (expect Super GT)
Graphics are total last generation
Weapons were so unbalance it wasn't an joke
Dating, Hanging out with friends and family members are an
snooze fest!
some of side missions are pointless
It ain't Mercenaries where you blow everything up

I think this game was good, but not the best game of all time! Anytime there's a glitch in gun-play (you shoot an enemy and goes through them like ghost), trashy driving sequence, sports cars totally unbalance, beyond ugly graphics, no female main character in GTA and not enough items for the main character, the scores will drop for some people. GTA fanboys are going to be ticked off for not liking what I reviewed their favorite game. Rockstar did an good job on this game, but do better on the next installment.

Brothers In Arms Road To Hill 30 is tactical first person shooters that gamers will either love or hate it. World War II shooting games are boring and tedious to no end. But, the series are different for two reasons; strong tactical gameplay and storyline. Here's my review of "Brothers In Arms Road To Hill 30" for Xbox, PS2, and PC.

Pros
+Different, Excellent and fresh gameplay
+Storyline has Band Of Brotherseque element to it
+Ally and Enemy A.I. are good
+Control Scheme
+Sound
+Graphics

Netural
Good online mulitplayer, but haven't play it

Cons
-Call Of Duty type of gameplay will be game over
-Repetitive enemies (every game has that)
-Small minor glitches
-Ally A.I. will get themselves into trouble

This game is great, it makes you think before react and B.I.A. haters need to get a clue. Earned In Blood and Hell's Highway will be on my list of reviews in the future.

I'm back with my review of "Freedom Fighters" on mulitplaform. Today has been five years since this game was released and I found it shocking good when I rent it four years ago. I played it on both versions and hard to tell which one is better. I know people are sick to their stomach about more war games, but give it a shot. Here's my review of "Freedom Fighters" for Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube.

Pros
+Story is great and has that Red Dawnesque (without high school situation) element to it
+Gameplay is fun
+Squad commanding system is easy as 1-2-3! Scout, Defend and Attack
+Sounds is different and fresh as well
+Dialogue
+Ally A.I. and Enemy A.I. are very intelligent
+Camera angle works just fine

Neutral
Controls are hit or miss. It depends on which console you're playing

Cons
-Enemy A.I. can be clumsy at times. So can Ally A.I.
-Haven't play multiplayer
-I'd like to see more freedom fighters characters with different ethic background instead of black and white
-The game will leaving you wanting for more
-Few glitches in the game

Some people don't like this game, but have never play it. The gameplay and storyline will keep you interested. I wonder if Io interactive are going to make an sequel? Check this game out; borrow from a friend, rent it at Blockbuster or Gamefly! Try before you buy it.
