ok movie and tv show tie-ins do have a bad history in games, but last year telltales games did something, they created an original game with characters that you cared for and some suspenceful gameplay,it got rave reviews was a great game, how could this game go wrong it has actual characters from the show, Daryl Dixon and his older brother Merle, well activison have and terminal reality decided to just, rehash old gameplay and graphics i mean this game looks terrible, i thought aliens colonial marines was an ugly game, this is worse, i thought i was playing an xbox original game from 2004 the dated graphics aren't the only issue, the story is a prequal to the events of the show, but it just does'nt hold up,it weak and also been done to death,i knew what to do before in game characters would ask me,there was a real lack of ceativity in this game which is a shame,as the show and comic books are a huge success over the world, this should of been a no brainer, some ideas in the game are good when you get into a struggle with one of the walkers you have to aim down at the head to kill them or you will just stab them, but this idea cant hold this game up,its just really flawed, and buggy even the zombies just looked like they were taken out of another game and put in this one hell even the scenery aswell. looks like activision just wanted to get on the money wagon on this and didnt really care about the fans. do yourself a favour and wait for telltales season two of the walking dead and avoid this game like the undead.

audio 7/10 use of the tv show theme and the two main actors voices helps this game ,but not much
visuals 3.5/10
would be a great looking game in 2005 but in 2013 dreadful.
gameplay
3./10
predictable and repetitive
total score

replay value
0/10
no multiplayer or co-op so if u do the story mode im sure that would be it
overall score
4/10
has potential then just ruins it over and over again

what another zombie game really?, yes but a very fun and addictive one, i did'nt see much advertisement for this game, i saw some you tube trailers and thought why not, its ony 15 bucks on steam,
the gameplay is simple go from one area to the other blasting zombies to hell, its been done before i know that, but what i like is that its from a sniper point of view, your trapped in a alley with a horde of nazi zombies stumbling across to you, you do a steady aim and crack one maybe two or even 3 or 4 threw there heads and seeing the graphic x-ray view point from the previous game its brutal, but satisfying to see, also the type of zombies you have are great to, some have dynamite strapped to them and charge at you wanting to blow you up, or the sneaky sniper ghouls who leap from building to building, and then there the slow moving ones who will move on you or pop out of nowhere and try and tear you to pieces, the gameplay and mechanics are identical to sniper elite v2,even the back ground is, just all has changed ruined buildings and now in night to add to the atmosphere, what i was really surprised by was the music,it had an 80's suspence horror vibe to it,which worked for me, the solo mode in this game is enjoyable,
the co-op is even better you can have up to 4 players trying to defeat hitlers undead army.im not sure, what the online is like but from the videos on you tube it looks to be a blast.
ok the faults now sometimes when your in cover and try to get out of it you get stuck, or the trying to run away from the nazi horde the control system might let you down.
also the inventory setup was alittle confusing specially when you want throw a grenade and set up a mine instead.
but i really did enjoy this game, even if its just another zombie cash in its actually done well and i recommend this to anyone who wants to kill zombies, instead of playing zombies on cod or left 4 dead.
its a different type of zombie fun in the 3rd person ww2 style.
visuals 7/10 zombies look cool ,could been more inventive on the towns
audio 9/10 music and groaning zombies very creepy
gameplay 8.5/10 shooting zombies in the head fun, inventory could of been better.
overall 8.5 /10

zombie nazi madness

ok so many negative reviews,do they have merrit, yes and no,i wanted this game to be the ultimate aliens game unfortunatley it isnt, what it is though is fun with friends online or co-op splitscreen,
ok lets start with the bad the textures and framerate is pretty bad in spots, also the ai of the aliens and some teamates is borderline dumb, its get frustrating when you hurt and your ai teamate watches you die,or the aliens just pop out of walls all choppy and stuff really takes away the feel of the aliens universe, also i wanted to be **** scared playing this,i wasnt i was just shooting, then going into another room and shoot some more.
Ok im done with the negatives what i did enjoy was playing this in co-op mode one of us used the tracker while the other waited for the aliens or human enemies, yes you read it you shoot people in this game but i ruin to much for you, that was fun working as a team, taking down aliens, also finding logs from the characters from the movie and also finding legendary weapons which were cool, the story mode if played by yourself i think you wouldnt like it that much unless a diehard alien fan,but with a friend or two or 3 its enjoyable, the mutiplayer is alot better better than story mode survivor was a very cool mode as 4 marines need to last as long as they can against aliens, the typical deathmatch is there to hopefully there be mode mutiplayer modes like a horde be cool but to early to tell, its a real shame that this game isnt the game we all hoped for yes its fun and is an ok shooter but with history of the whole aliens universe, here why on earth did it looked rushed in parts honestly some graphic were bad so i dont see why gearbox naffed it up really the game does look only half done, which is a real dampner im a huge aliens fan this just wasnt the aliens gam i hoped for ..who needs to answer to this im not sure gearbox i mean i saw video of such cool moments that arent even in the game so what happend, they the potentail to make the ultimate alien game and yet only made a passable shooter for a fun few hrs with mates rekindling on how this could of been the ultimate aliens..when its not shame on you gearbox... story mode gets a 5.5 out of 10 multiplayer gets a 6.5 out of 10

this game is simple just survive wave after wave of monsters or hillybilly zombies ,with friends or by yourself ,much more fun with team ,there tones of weapons and perks to unlock and achivements there also a variety or maps aswell ,i got this a couple weeks ago on steam and have enjoyed it there dedicated servers for this and you can create your own matches aswell and for 5 bucks i couldnt go wrong ,the look of the game isnt great but alot better than i thought it would be ,it runs well online and the connection to most games are good, bascially when a level is finished you have a certain amount of time to get to the gunshop which changes location each time and depending on how many weapons you it will affect your speed ,so you will play with your inventory alot ,the aiming on this game is good there is a sorta guntime where it slows down everything which looks cool when you play by yourself but can be annoying if playing co-op as a teamates gunslowmo goes into place you might be trying do something else which can affect your game, that was the only complaint that i had for this shooter,i guess a story mode would of been good to ,but its just a shooter plain and simple ..it wont win any game of the year awards but is harmless fun with friends also the voice acting in it is british which i find very funny ,so i give it a solid 7 /10

I found this game on PSN for $2.50, this game was a waste of both time and money. I can't believe this game debuted for $14.99. This game is broken in every way. The screen tearing is atrocious, the graphics are painful, and story is almost non-existent. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to purchase this crap. Even though it's discounted for a special time, just pass it up. I played this game for 47 minutes, that was 46 minutes too long. Just say no to Amy! Graphics - Horrible (Screen Tearing, to many trails on character models) Sound - Grating and Annoying. Game-play - Awful (Clunky Combat, Stiff Character Models, Horrible Collision Detection) Replay Value - NONE! (If you beat the first level and not die of boredom first, Kudos to you!) All-in-all, this game sucks, please do not buy! Thank you!

First words that come to mind, Oh My god (lower-case "g".) I have never played a game that has such a deep and rich story. Don't even get me started on the game play. I mean, the hell with Skyrim, COD, GOW, Borderlands 2, etc. This game is where it' s at. You would be passing up a major gem if you missed out on this fantastic game. I can't stress enough how awesome the game is. The developers of this game have truly spoiled us. Not only do we get to drive down a rich and crisp detailed street, but we also get to simulate the experience by cleaning it too? I could easily play this game for 8 hours a day, but the fact that it is so amazing, I feel like I don't deserve the awesomeness of this game. So I'm stuck playing crappy titles like Borderlands 2 and Dishonored. I think if they make a sequel my head would explode due to the fact that there is too much pure awesomeness in this title to make it better! I only have one more thing to add. PLEASE, Excalibur Publishing Limited, bring this spectacular game to consoles; possibly as a release title for the Xbox 720 and PS4. Although I don't think the consoles can handle the graphics and the smooth game play. Thank you for reading my review of this amazing game - now GO! and buy this one of a kind title, it is definitely worth the $50 price tag! Have fun, and enjoy! :)

this game is downloadble on xbox live i scored it when it was on special for about 400 points ,and i havent regretted it lots of fun to play, more mutilpayer but there is a mode called black ops were its mission based its hard, the multiplayer modes are fun team death match ,dommination ,last man standing or even last team standing is fun ,the gunplay is good so is response to the guns controls work well ,the grapics could of looked abit better but there ok ,that said now my only gripe with the game is that i cant seem to get a game lately not many people play it anymore which i dont see why as this game is fun and has lots of different mutiplayer mods and gun unlocks and armour unlocks aswell .well if you get it i hope you have luck in getting a game its a shame not many play this much as i really enjoyed it when i had a decent match with others .

ok i herd on gamespot about a few free game to play ,i checked out the game trailer for this and thought i would give it ago, after joining up and downloading the game and patches and updates which took awhile 2hrs atleast ,i was ready to play,it will show where you would like mainly only europe and american servers but i herd there might be an australian server soon which will be great ,for better connection and games .blacklight retribution is a first person shooter thats a free to play game on pc,which has team death match ,free for all and other multiplayer game types you have seen and played before ,the weapons are responsive and gunplay is fun .you can buy extra weapons and mods for your armour if you want ,but what i liked about this game is that you can trial and earn perks and mods for weapons and armour and gear ,which is cool ,but i felt that i didnt need to buy anything to have a decent game which was great ,as some matches i played some players had these massive robot armour of sorts which were hard to kill but we worked together to take them down easliy ,also the maps were cool some were on tall buildings and industrial facotories or the street of some new age city ,i really enjoyed this game and i was surprised on my connection in games even with basic weapons i did ok ,so if you want a fps multiplayer shooter that is free and fun to play and also nice to look at then i recommend this for you ive mentioned this game to a few of my cod mates and now there hooked, its not ground breaking but nothing is lately but it is alot of fun .so 8 out of 10 for me did i mention that it free :)

ok ok i know this game has been out since last yr,but ive actually enjoyed this game ,whne it first came out i was disapointed with it it felt very much the same ,but the campinge is great fun although short ,but the real fun to be had is the multiplayer the maps and game options that have come out in the last 7 months is very much fun , specially the community games ,infected is a great game mode ,also the old game types are here team deathmatch ,capture the flag, dommination, and new game type killconfirmed where you have to get the dogtags of the dead enemies and of your teamates ,to get points, i know its easy to just bag cod been there done that yes it has ,but they do it so damn well , i have a clan on black ops who hated this game but now are starting to play it ,the communtity game type is alot of fun and i hope they take that to the next level in the next cod game ,so if you like your mutiplayer fast and fun then you should enjoy this another great game to the collection of cod games, its not groundbreaking ,but it is alot of fun so is the survival mode whic you and a teammate have to take down wave sof enemies each group getting harder and also the minimissions are great to , either way not ground breaking but fun

im only just saying a few quick things as i havent played much yet , all i can say its worth the wait ,max payne 3 is a beautiful looking game, while i was watching the cut scenes then going into gameplay it just feels so smooth , i actualy felt very involved with this game, the colors and characters and envoiremnts look great ,and mechanics are great aswell,i havent tried the multiplayer yet im curious on how the bullet time will work, also the ai is hard to say the least so cover and using bullet time is esssential to your survival .and using pistals is so damn fun again its not the secondary weapon anymore its weapon of choice ,either way if your a fan of max payne or rocksatr you wont be disapointed in this alreay in my words a bloody pure classic, i just cant wait for the gta as rockstar just go to strength to strength with each game they make they break boundaries and take risks which usually work for them and it has again with this game ,so do yourself a favour go and get this game now,,,get your payne on :)

First of all, this is a very fun game. I find myself playing this game all of the time. If I am bored and have nothing to play I can always depend on Skate 3 to help brighten my day and give me something fun to do. Now let's move on to the learning curve. I will admit, I am horrible at skateboarding both in reality and virtually. The game in my opinion is hard even on the easiest difficulty, however that does not take away from it's overall fun factor. You can up the difficulty to make the physics and speed more realistic, although I have only tried that a couple times, as I am not that great at the game. I have beaten the game and it was very rewarding. You obtain many unlockables for your Create a Skate park. Create a skate park is very fun; I find myself here the most. There are so many options to build. If you are looking for a game that is very fun and that will challenge you, be sure to pick this game up. By the way, if you are looking for an online experience you might as well pass this game up as the online community is quite dead. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy!

ok i heard all the rumors ,about this game saw the review on gamespot being bad ,i ignored it all and bought this game off ebay for about $50 dollars , i was waiting all week for it to come in the mail,i thought im not gonna let a few negative reviews ruin this for me ,the trailers on you tube looked good ,right i told myself.
Was i wrong yes and no .
The game takes place during the first outbreak between resident evil 1&2
you play one of 4 characters you must extract the t virus and get rid of all eveidence, sounds cool right your the bad guys this time ,you see some familar characters on your journey leon.kennedy ,ada wong and others.
Now lets get the negatives out the way ,
The gunplay in this is annoying in most shooters a bullet to the head means your dead i dont care pistol machinegun .your dead ,but in this the A.I
are liek the T/1000 they can take bullets over and over again,so it kinda takes the fun out of spilling bullets into the enemies ,also there melee is a little frustrating you press the button and you start swinging like crazy but i didnt feel like i was actualy hitting them ,just felt flawed,
also the A.I the zombie look cool but repetive you see the same group of zombies over and over again the cop zombie is like in every section of the game , they could had more variety in the zombies ,then theres the covering system when your near a wall or car and you automatically hug it well sometimes you dont.thats just a pain .
then there be crates you find with special items likes guns you have to shoot them to unlock them ,which is a pain if you have half dozen zombies snapping at your ass , and ammo is bountiful either ,so make sure those hits count, and then theres your teamates they either die every five seconds or do nothing , which is a real pain aswell.
Ok thats what i found to be annoying in the game got that out of the way why stick around for more pain ,the only tthing hat saves this game is the co-op
if you can get 3 friends to join a campainge match or multiplayer it can be fun ,telling each other to go here and watch your back is fun ,and some of the multiplayer modes are good also like survivor mode which is good last for ten minutes and get all your teamates on the chopper ,i found enjoyable, also the xp you gain you get some pretty cool perks also and weapons . the game can be very dark in spots, the characters look ok not great there was better visuals in resident evil 5 i thought. but if you want some resident evil action til number 6 comes out then i suggest get it for hire ,or buy it cheap if capcom just did this game themselves we might of had a hit on our hands but they passed onto another company and thats why we have issues with this now .. the game is ok but not great which is a shame seeing that this series has had some of the greatest moments in game history and characters .this one wont stay long in my memory for too long ... now if it wasnt a resident evil game it could of gotten a higher rating but with this franchise we would all expected much more from this than just this a shooter with zombies ..in it

this game came out in 2010 ,it got some negative reviews and im guessing there wont be a sequal any time soon ,as i dont think it sold well seeing that this market is flooded with ,shooters and other stuff, so i saw this on sale, and decided to take a chance on it ,well im glad i did this game is just pure fun,
i haven't played a game in ages on where im determined to finish it ,in a long time, its a simple story boy loves girl ,girl gets taken by evil scientist to be sacrificed to evil gods, and you put on an ancient mask and gain incredible powers to get your girl jen back, you know the usual stuff .
This game is a remake the the late 80's and early 90's version of the same name ,it has a following i guess and i see that namco who devoloped the earlier games have put alot of love and tribute to their 2010 version ,thats no to say it doesnt have bugs aswell, rick our hero of sorts has a terrible jump ,its like he has concret shoes its just bad and some levels were you have to jump ,are very unforgiving, and then theres the loading screen so when you die which you will ALOT lol, they just load for ages ,i thought i was on an old console at one stage ,really drove me batty sometimes, but if you overlook that ,you will enjoy this game ,the combos are fun and brutal and when you do finish moves it makes kratos from gow series look like a **** ,this beatem up game with platformer elements is alotta fun and reminds me of oldschool games which im fond of ,the voice acting is great specailly the guy who does the mask hes great, and funny ,theres plenty of different type of enemies to kill and in lots of brutal disgusting ways and some cool unlockables if your bit of a perv there pieces of photos of your girlfriend jen laying around find all to see the whole pic some are rude, this isnt a kids game either there some grafic violence and language be warned the F word is used alot ,.the look of the game is great cartoony and some of the level design is great ,the main character rick looks cool in his hocky mask from hell, and when he takes down enemies watch the blood run down the walls and on your tv screen ,he has a beserker mode when full he will unleash , major pain on any enemies around him ,you collect blood to unlock moves and weapon perks ,rick has some cool weapons to use to ,chunks of wood, iron pipes ,shotgun and a chainsaw which is really cool to use ,theres also a survival mode that you can play aswell kill as many enemies as you can before dying which fun ,and also which great namco have also included the original splatterhouse games for you to play ,you unlock each one as you progress threw the story mode,
must also mention that the soundtrack is **** with a heavymetal feel .
Like i said ive enjoyed this game its a bit rough round the edges but i think thats what appeals to me ,it didnt break any boundaries ,or try to change its formula it is what it is , so i imbraced this little bargain number and have enjoyed it greatly ,so take a trip down memory lane when games were simple button mashers ,but were addictive fun ...

All I can say is WOW! I have been playing the wrong type of RPGs this whole time! I thought RPGs like Skyrim and Oblivion were the most satisfying. Don't get me wrong, they are great games, but lets face it; there's no learning curve, no strategy, in my opinion. Basic turn based RPGs are fun aswell, but seem to be very repetitive. This is my first Disgaea game and I am very impressed by it. The gameplay is amazing, after you win a battle you feel like you have accomplished something. I have never played or even thought about playing a grid-based or SRPG after I watched my friend play FF: tactics. He absolutely hated it. I have a feeling that I may like it now that I have a new found resepect for this particular type of RPG. I have already put over 17 hours in, playing it 12 hours straight when I purchased it. All-in-all this is a very good game; easily a 9.5/10.

Graphics - 8.5/10
Gameplay - 10/10
Replay - 10/10

when i finally got this downloaded and patched which took ages i dont know why it did ,anyways theres lots of game types demolition and also a zombie mode called infected which the best game type if you get touched your turned to the undead ,now the issues i had with this game was the lag and also the enviroment was a bit bland and not vert detailed the characters look good though ,well for a free multiplayer game it is fun ,but not long lasting there are better ones out there but the infected mode was fun ,also i could only get into russian game rooms i couldnt find any local rooms but anyways its ok .but there are better ones out there, but this seems to be the only multiplayer shooter out there with a zombie mode in it so if you love shooting zombies or becoming one then this is for you ,also when your a zombie you have a these weird razor fingers that remind me of freddy kruegar lol

When I first heard about this game, my reaction was, "meh, it's just another cheaply made game for the PC" But in all actuality it's a masterpiece. The game itself is very addictive, and fun for all ages. Moreover, the difficulty is just right; not too hard, not too easy. There are also plenty of unlockables/in game trophies to keep you coming back for more. You could easily play this game for over 100 hours trying to complete the main story/mini games/puzzles/survival/shop items. I know its almost impossible to find a perfect game, but this game comes very close, especially for the replay factor. Please do yourself a favor and put down the angry birds and play a real game that gives you so much more to do.

Gameplay - 10
Graphics - 10
Sound - 10
"Fresh" Factor - 10

this game is is one hell of a surprise, i bought this as an exrental, thought it would pass the time and it did ,it took my whole time lol,the character and storyline takes you and also the look and feel is great ,plus the game itself is sort of like a tv show as each chapter ends it recaps what happened in the previous one, which i thought was cool, the enemy in the game cant stand the light so you need a torch or flares ,there also gun play but light is your friend, you character is an author on holiday with his wife ,who disapears in the small town your staying at ,you keep getting these eerriy visions and you must find your wife when the town suffers a blackout all hell breaks loose crazy things start to happen and some of the loacals arent as friendly anymore thats when your torch and gun come handy ,taking out the the enemy is fun and the psychiscs of the game work well the envioroment and sound works great to ,i know its not much of a review i just wanted to say i really enjoyed this game hell i might even download the new one on xbl lol,

from the start you can experience and explore the magical world that surrounds you
the beautiful music and the beautiful places and you'll know you made the right choice playing it.
you go through different places from the hot desert to the dark caves to the snowy mountain top.
your goal is to get to the mountain top and find its secrets.
the game doesn't have voice acting because it doesn't need to the story is told through a big white character that is showing you pictures and places.
you play as an unknown person discovering the world on his or her or it's mission to get to the mountain top. one of the fun is you can play online without seeing the name tag or talking to whom you're playing with you can only communicate with musical notes which makes it special. you need to cooperate if you wanna move faster and whats even cooler is you can see the name tag of the people you were playing with, at the end of the credits.
the musical score is the best and it will win some awards for sure.
for conclusion buy the game!!! its worth the money if you speed through it it will take you 2-3 hours but you'll come back exploring the world because there enough to see for 10 hours and its worth the money so do yourself a favor and go right now to buy this game. :)

Sun, 04 Mar 2012 17:34:16 -0800 taylorkristich reviewed Ninja Gaiden Black for the Xbox... http://www.gamespot.com/ninja-gaiden-black/user-reviews/789083/platform/xbox/ ...and gave it a 10.0!!!

First off, I have to say this has improved from it's last game. The regular Ninja Gaiden for Xbox. The controls are easy to get use to, and most of the time you'll have to do multiple attacks to different foes to process through the game. You'll learn new moves and techniques by picking up scrolls through out the game, as well as new power attacks and you can up grade them as well. There's also many different types of weapons you can use, making the game more in depth and more versatile. The graphics are nearly flawless in every way, making the Xbox get pushed to it's limit. You can tell that the creators of the game, put lots of effort into making this game very difficult. And, you'll find that each difficulty that you beat, gets much harder after you beaten the one you just completed. Which attracts many hardcore gamers to play this game. Just try the difficulty called "Master Ninja" you'll understand what I'm talking about, when you try that. This game also has a ton of replay value. From different costumes, and new game modes, you'll find yourself entertained for a long time. I don't want to give anything away to you of what exactly you'll unlock, but you will enjoy every bit of challenge that awaits you. I highly recommend this game if you want a challenge for the ages and you want to accomplish a game that most people couldn't do. You'll love every minute of it.

Wed, 22 Feb 2012 08:16:08 -0800 taylorkristich reviewed Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for the PlayStation 2... http://www.gamespot.com/metal-gear-solid-2-sons-of-liberty/user-reviews/788321/platform/ps2/ ...and gave it a 10.0!!!

This game is simply amazing from start to finish. You will use every inch of Snake's stealth to get pass guards and other various challenges that will leave you breathless through out the game. Snake has a variety of different weapons at his disposal. However, the most important one, would probably be his way of sneaking up on people without them knowing. That is your best bet to get through the levels. The voice acting is breathtaking. You can tell that the creators took the extra effort into every character when came done to this. The graphics pushes the PS2 to it's limit, with great cut scenes, and marvelous display of different landscapes. The controls are easy to grasp, if you haven't played any of the Metal Gear Solid series. So, you shouldn't have a problem with that at all. There's much replay value in this game as well, giving you the opportunity to receive secret items that you weren't able to get through your first run through. All in all, this game is remarkable. And, should definitely not be missed to play. Not to mention it is extremely cheap to buy now. I hope you'll take the time to get this, you'll be wanting more after your finish with it.
