This is one of the games i am really looking forward to the next gen. Being a big racing game fan, it's something interesting about Driveclub that appeals to me. The social aspect of this is something already attempted in Forza and Need for Speed, but hasn't been completely succesful as of yet. This is something that really interest me in how they can use the potential. The game also looks really good and i hope it's as good as i think it is.

Watch_Dogs:

Watch_Dogs has an interesting open world concept. Making it a realistic story about hackers and crime. It seems like an interesting approach to a game, and it also looks like a next gen game. It also seems to give the player a big sandbox game to explore.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag:

Even after the mixed bag that was Assassin's Creed 3, i am still looking forward to the new setting and what they can bring to use with the new gen. I also hope they go back to the formula what made the earlier games so good

The Crew:

This looks like a new take on racing and social gaming. It looks interesting and i am interested the depth of the game and what options you have in this.

Battlefield 4:

Battlefield 4 looks really good with the new engine. Bigger maps, biggers scale and just more awesomeness. It looks like something the next gen consoles can really take advantage of. It looks amazing and i have been a Battlefield fan since the 1942 days.

Dragon Age 3: Inquisition:

This game is something i am really looking forward to. The series is something that stands close to my heart and has really been my favorite RPG with the Final Fantasy games. I hope they can really show us something special.

Star Wars: Battlefront:

I am so looking forward to this game, this is the game i am looking forward to the most. There have been doubts and whispers this ever being made. But it is! I hope it's as good as my expectations are for it.

Final Fantasy 15:

I hope this is also as good as the trailer and expectations are for this game. It's been a long time since we have seen anything. But it does look like it has potential and looks great.

Why? http://www.gamespot.com/users/DEATH775/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-26029441 I live in Malaysia and I own a x360 and PS3. I have to say that I bought my x360 in 2008 and my PS3 in 2010. Now I have to say that there's a lot of people here in Malaysia who owns a x360 but don't play online some never even play online. With this new way of rules by Microsoft I'm happy to say that no one here in Malaysia is going to buy a Xbox1. I don't know why Microsoft did not learn from other mistakes like Sim City which needed you to play online and can't play offline. Also Diablo 3 which needed you to be online in order to play the game. You can't play the game offline. Now people just think about it, this is a game and it made offline to be a disadvantage and already are getting a tons of rage from fans. Imagine doing it on console. In my country I don't even think that the numbers of Xbox1 sold is going to go over 100. I understand that microsoft is doing this to fight back piracy. But they are doing it the wrong way. They are using a double edge attack where in the process they do beat piracy but also hurt themselves, worst case scenario they killed themselves in the process. I totally want to play Dead Rising 3, Titanfall and Forza 5. But i hardly go online, only once a month. Yeah I know it sucks. I want to get a high speed internet but maybe not right now. Also every games being sold digitally is also another way of screwing up. I don't even want to talk about used games on the xbox. All I can say about Sony is that they just killed another console in the console war racking up the kill to 2. With the previous victim the Dreamcast.

Now that is out of the way, I want to say that Microsoft will be a no show at E3 next year. Since they are going to be closing down their business after 3 to 4 months of the Xbox1 being sold to the public. After that they will finally realize that everything is too late. Hell I should even be in the board room when decisions like this are being made. I have predicted a lot of companies closing down in my country and I'm always 100% correct. Never was I wrong. Now I'm saying that Microsoft (Xbox1) will be closing down Seriously as someone who learns about business, Microsoft strategy is going the wrong way.

With everyone's Game of the Year lists slowly manifesting, I thought I'd share with you the game that touched me the most this past year. It's by no means a surprising winner, but the decisive manner in which thatgamecompany's wonderful downloadable title Journey rose to the top and never struggled to keep that position throuhout the year, was impressive.

b4j9g0.jpg

Journey is a game that does so much with so little. It's mechanically simple, all you do is walk and jump. Yet, never has a game made the simple act of walking around its vast landscape such a joy as Journey. Whether you're intently climbing a dune of sand or playfully sliding it down, floating up strands of fabric, dangling in the wind or swimming through a sea of light. It's amazing how often I found myself actively thinking just how fun moving was in this game.

Without any lines of dialog and nothing but a few engraved murals and visions of a civilization long gone, Journey also managed to touch me deeply with its story. Its themes leave room for interpretation, yet they aren't not vague enough to be confusing or shallow. The tale of a once great society running out of whatever godly or earthly resource they had once discovered serves as a warning to our own lavish ways, yet there is a deeper meaning to what the game and your hooded character represents. Is it a metaphor for the cycle we all pass through in our lives? A symbol of hope? A little nudge to make us appreciate the beautiful things we might take for granted in this world? It can be whatever you want it to be.

When I first played Journey, it was a good week or two before release and I played it a number of times before it was officially available. The downside was not having experienced its sublime integration of multiplayer yet, that connects you to other people more strongly than any voice chat or squad mechanic ever could. The moment you first realize that another player has joined you is a magical experience and the desperation felt when you lose sight of your companion can be soulcrushing.

When I finished the game for the first time with a companion at my side and the game tells you the name of the people you met along the road, I immediately sent that person a message, telling him how much I enjoyed his company. Today, on Christmas day, I played through the game again, and for the larger part of it, I managed to stick with another traveler. I again felt how we silently forged a bond, how there seemed to be a deep understanding of what each other wanted to do. At the very end, I had suddenly lost track of him or her, and I panicked, not knowing if I should wait for my friend to catch up or if I had been the one who had fallen behind. I couldn't find him.

At the very end, just below the final ascent, I stopped to soak in the beauty of the game one last time, when I suddenly heard a chirping behind me. I felt genuine relief and happiness and after we ascended into the blinding light and the credits had rolled, I received a PSN message, thanking me for the company and wishing me a Happy Holiday.

This is that playthrough

Ever since the release of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam, I have thought this would be the perfect format for a Power Rangers game. And with Namco Bandi being the publisher of the series, it fits, right?

For example, maybe you could have a numerous amount of the fodder enemies from many Seasons. Such as the Putties/Tenga Warriors (Mighty Morphin), Cogs (Zeo), Piranhatrons (Turbo), Kelzaks (Ninja Storm), Tyrannodrones (Dino Thunder), Krybots (S.P.D.), Hidiacs/Styxoids (Mystic Force), Chillers/Lava Lizards (Operation Overdrive), Rinshi (Jungle Fury) etc.

So, just like how the Gundam games have their own fodder enemies, these different 'foot soldier' enemies from the many Seasons would be the fodder enemies of this game. You would be able to choose any Ranger from the 17 Seasons (From MM-RPM). As for the end boss of an area, it would obviously be a main baddie from an episode of one of the Seasons. You'd kill him once and then maybe go into a Zord battle after that? Maybe it would be similar to using a Gundam on the other games, except a tad slower.

And maybe there could be a special mode where you could play as the villains: Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, Ivan Ooze, Machine King, Divatox, Astronema, Trakeena, Queen Bansheera, Ransik, Master Org, Lothor, Mesogog, Emperor Gruumm, Octomus the Master, Flurious, Dai Shi, and Venjix.

I have so many good ideas! I really wish there was a GOOD Power Rangers game, and I think this format would undoubtedly be the best.

Not many follow my blogs, but if there are any readers, please, give me your thoughts.

Hopefully there will be a price cut on the system. Till then i will not finish my Mass Effect 3 saga, however I will have plenty of PS3 games to play.

Happy Gaming!

It's also the first game I've worked on as writer and creative director. If you have a chance to try it, please let me know what you think.

I know I haven't been active on GameSpot in a long time. I've left a lot behind, including the Reviewer's Legion Union which I was once leader of. Anyway, I want to keep this short and sweet, so I just wanted to say that if anyone should need to contact me for any reason regarding possible GameSpot projects, article writing for other sites, etc, feel free to contact me by my email at SDFrost1@gmail.com.

And for those of you who remember me from the Reviewer's Legion, feel free to add me as a friend on facebook or youtube. I am pretty active on both of those sites I don't expect to be logging onto GameSpot much unless the union system is revamped, so the best way to reach me is through the means outlined above. Hope to hear from some of my old comrades!
