LOL http://www.gamespot.com/users/edpeterson/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-26024689 OK, so the Xbox One got announced, and it was a pretty bad announcement I usually don't like bashing a console (I love getting all of them, and using on to play most of my games while the others are for exclusives), but wow the new Xbox seems so terrible!

What are the new features? TV! Ok, so really the xbox one is about:

A focus on TV/entertainment

I admit the halo tv series on M$'s channel on the Xbox One seems like it could be cool, but really how many people still watch TV nowadays? I hardly ever watch it since I can just watch everything online now. There has also been studies that show that less and less people are actually watching TV, so for a majority of people the Xbox One having TV options is not something important to gamers and not as important to people that it could have been before.

Oh and before I forget, this TV thing will only be for North America when it launches, it's like they forgot that the rest of the world exists (way to conform to the stereotypes of Americans M$!) So if you live in Europe you may be happen with the exclusive Futbol and other sports stuff (that I could care less about) but it seems like the TV portion of the Xbox One (the mian portion) won't be avalible for you for a while.

The xbox is always on? / The Kinect is always on?

OK, so I'm still kind of confused about this, is the xbox always on? If so it's a total waste of electricity and will be annoying since I always unplug my consoles every couple weeks/months when I want to play a different console. But besides this the worst thing is that the Kinect is most likely always on! So, you're telling me a divice that has a camera to look in on me and a microphone to hear what I say is going to be always on? How could this go wrong? Seriously you have to be someone who doesn't care at all about privacy for this to make any sense. M$ might not use it on spying in on you or trying to see what kinds of things you have in your house so that they can have ads that are more relevent to you. However, people can hack the system/xbox live and before you know it, you are all over the internet. The Kinect being always on reminds me of the old "it's thinking" commercials from the Dreamcast http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28odbzXcDYg

The Kinect has to be connected for the Xbox One to work, Kinect can control the console.

So, this is just stupid. Most people don't want to buy $100 worth of junk that most likely they will never use, plus if the Kinect breaks down the console is useless untill you buy a new one (and you know how great M$ is in making reliable things, *cough* red ring of death *cough* not to mention it can fall off the tv). Also, saying things will make the Kinect do things on the xbox like turn it on (from possibly a sleep mode?), so if you are fighting with someone using words what will the xbox do? What happens if kids fight over it?

The Xbox One has to be online/needs to be connected at least every 24 hours.

Such a stupid idea. One, there are tons of people who do not have internet access (like people in the army, marines, living on a farm, etc). Two, people have to have a good relyable internet connection, AND wireless internet or a modem that let's more than one cable hook up to it. Guess what, there are people out there that don't have these! Three, what if I don't use my Xbox One every day? I usually only play game consoles a few times a week I don't use them every day! How about the people who go on vacation and aren't married to their Xbox One so they leave it at home? What will happen when it won't be connected? Of course this is where being always on would help, but if you have a huge poweroutage that lasts more than 24 hours what will happen then?

Doesn't support Indie Games.

Well it is true that the new xbox will let indie games come out for their console, indie developers will have to pay a company like EA or Microsoft to publish their games. This is kind of against the idea of what an indie game is. Although hearing from many indie developers, Microsoft isn't the greatest platform to come out on, so I guess this might be a good thing? Personally I like indie games (I have been enjoying them much more than AAA titles that have come out recently), so I guess I'll have to get my indie games on my PC, PS4, and maybe Wii U. It's an interesting twist because M$ did support indie development with the 360 and the PS3 weren't as indie friendly but now that's all different lol.

Also there is no more XBLA for the Xbox One. Way to go! *sarcasm*

No games were announced!

This is basically because of E3 being so close, but it's another fail on M$'s part. Most of the people who were watching the announcement were looking for why they wanted a new GAMING console not a new entertainment center (which most people already have). Also, most people watching already have an xbox 360 which they use for gaming, so they want to see games! Way to alienate your fanbase M$

The system specs are worse than the PS4

No surprise here, seeing as M$ seems to be focusing more on the social media/tv kind of market and are straying away from gamers. But in reality I could care less, I mean the games are what matters, not the graphics

Xbox Live still costs waaaaay too much.

Why pay money to play games online when all the other consoles offer it for free? And no, the Xbox does not have the best online experience, the PC has the best.

Used games can be played, but fee is required!

So, this is stupid. But from all the evidence and dodging around the question that M$ has done it seems very likely there will be a fee (especially after an interview that I saw where M$ said that a friend has to pay a fee, as much as the game costs, unless they sign in as your profile)... Great move M$ if Sony doesn't do the same thing (which, most likely they will not) a majority of gamers won't buy your console!

Early DLC

Not sure if I'm in the minority but I'm not a huge fan of DLC, especially not since DLC has been more of a thing that is being developed along with the game but released separately as a money grab by the company instead of the game having that DLC in it (how hard is it to develop a huge game and then once you see how many people like it you develop DLC for it, Look at the Wrath of the Lamb DLC for The Binding of Isaac THAT IS HOW DLC SHOULD BE DONE!). But no, most companies don't do that and now they do things like make you pay $5 for a difficulty mode that is the mode that the game was supposed to be played it (way to go Metro Last Light *sarcasm*)

Lastly, A New Controller Design!

I'm not going to lie, this is probably the only thing I really liked about the announcement, the controler got redesigned and the new look seems pretty cool!

So, that's about it for this blog what do you guys think of the new Xbox?

Music time:

Leaether Strip - I Love The Sound of Acid Rain

KMFDM - No News

KMFDM - Professional Killer

Utah Saints - Something Good

That's about it! Have a great day!

Now we get that not everyone will agree with our choices, which has some omissions that may surprise you, and trust us, deciding upon the finalized list was an arduous task in itself.

Note: This article was also written by tjsmoke63rigbybot127 which was initially posted on Leet Gamers Asia

With that out of the way, here is the list:

10. Resistance: Fall of Man (tjsmoke63)

When the PS3 launched in 2006, it didnt exactly have a host of stand-out titles. One of them, however, that did stand out was a sci-fi first person shooter from Insomniac Games, who had previously been best known for their action platformers Spyro and the Ratchet and Clank series. Resistance: Fall of Man follows the exploits of Nathan Hale through an alternate history 1951 where the Earth has been invaded by a hostile alien species known as the Chimera. Hale makes his way through Britain, battling a variety of enemies while on foot and in vehicles (an early tank section stands out, and was one of the more fun missions in the game). Hale has at his disposal a wide array of weaponry with which to tackle the alien menace. In addition to your typical pistols and assault rifles, Insomniac, much as they did with the Ratchet and Clank series, also gives you some very creative pieces to take out your foe.

The Chimera are relentless as they are diverse

The Auger was one such weapon, whose primary attack is a rapid fire but the bullets burrow through walls and emerge with a greater strength, and the secondary attack creates a shield that blocks enemy fire, but allows you to shoot the enemy. With these weapons and documents you can find throughout the gameworld, Insomniac created a fresh alternative to your military shooters, and created a story that was both deep and rewarding. The game did well enough to spawn sequels. Resistance 2 hit consoles in 2008, Resistance: Retribution came out in the same year for the PSP, Resistance 3 hit consoles in 2011, and Resistance: Burning Skies released on the Playstation Vita. But none quite matched the first game, which still remains one of the best shooters to grace Sonys console.

9. Heavy Rain (tjsmoke63)

In 2010, developers Quantic Dream, the studio behind the PS2 game Indigo Prophecy (known as Fahrenheit in Europe) released a game that was very different from anything else on the consoles. More interactive drama than a standard game, Heavy Rain placed players in the shoes of four different characters in pursuit of the Origami Killer, a child murderer who leaves origami figures at the scene of the crime. The characters  include Ethan Mars, a man who has suffered tragedy and whose son is being held captive by the killer, Madison Paige, an investigative journalist, FBI profiler Norman Jayden, who has at his disposal a pair of high tech glasses that enable him to find clues, and Scott Shelby, a world weary private investigator looking into the case.

Heavy Rains story puts many games to shame

The game was unique in that there was never a Game Over screen. Instead, if your character died or simply failed a challenge, the story continued on, taking into account the players actions and adjusting the story accordingly. It gave the game an immense amount of replayability and multiple endings (one count puts the number of endings around twenty), meaning each player had a unique experience while going through the game. Some players disliked the reliance on Quick Time Events (QTEs) but for this game they worked well. Also, conversation choices were given, and you had a limited amount of time to make your choice, which in turn reflected on how other characters in the game would react to you. It was a very intense experience that many gamers and critics embraced, and remains one of the most unique entries in the PS3 library.

8. Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time (rigbybot127)

The latest installment in the beloved Ratchet & Clank series of platformers (not countng All 4 One, and Full Frontal Assault) sees the separation of the titular duo, a continuation of the plot element introduced at the end of Tools of Destruction, and throughout the entirety of Quest For Booty (though you dont have to play that one, as its $15 for 4 hours, and the beginning of ACiT sums it up nicely). Ratchet must embark on the single most dramatic journey in the series, as he races to rescue Clank from Dr. Nefarious, before he destroys the universe by using The Great Clock, of which Clank and his helper, Sigmund are the current keepers of; all while Ratchet learns of his race, the Lombaxes, from one of his fathers best chums, Allister Azimuth, who may know more about the Lombaxes than he lets on. It ties in great with Tools of Destruction, as well as directly explains things that put the events of said game in motion.

With its Pixar esque graphics, its a sight to behold

If not for the amazingly epic story, then definitely get it for the near-flawless platforming/shooting gameplay, and awesome set-pieces and battlefields, as well as some interesting new time puzzles on Clanks levels; this game of which contains the most Clank sections in the series history. They are fun and challenging, but arent very large in quantities, unless you wanna go for the bonus Gold Bolt ones, but your mind will probably be reduced to mush before you finish all those.

7. LittleBigPlanet 2 (rigbybot127)

This is as wet as a creative persons dream can get. LittleBigPlanet 2 unleashes what is (quite literally) hundreds of games worth of assets at you, to assure that you and up to 3 buddies can have all the fun platforming in beautifully creative user-created worlds, but with all these assets, you dont have to stop there! You have the ability to create racing games, fighting games, tower defense games, first-person shooters, and much more, all for what is now a $20 dollar price tag (along with however much you spend on the games seemingly endless amount of downloadable skins, featuring the likes of The Muppets, Sonic the Hedgehog, Assassins Creed, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid, which comes with a special paintball gun, and basically any other intellectual property you can imagine; the DLC for the original is also compatible, which means even MORE to choose from).

Multiplayer games are chaotically fun and a great ice-breaker

6. God of War III (tjsmoke63)

God of War III was the final chapter in the story of Kratos, finishing off the tale begun by Santa Monica Studio on the PS2. By this entry Kratos, the Greek warrior betrayed by the Gods, has reignited the Great War, and the game begins with Kratos storming Mount Olympus with the aid of the Titans. All does not go well, as Kratos is betrayed once again, this time by Gaia. The spirit of Athena appears once more to guide him, this time in search of the Flame of Olympus and Pandoras Box. Featuring plenty of characters and creatures from Greek mythology, the gameplay once again employed the brutal hack and slash found in the previous entries. Combos could be made using Kratos main weapon, the Blades of Exile, and the use of a secondary weapon, among them the Claws of Hades, the Nemean Cestus (a pair of fist gauntlets), and the Nemesis Whip.

One word to sum up the GOW series; epic

As before, unlocking chests released orbs that replenished both health and magic, as well as Gorgon Eyes, which upgraded health, Phoenix Feathers, which upgraded magic, and new to the series, Minotaur Horns, which upgraded items. In addition to combat, that game featured puzzles to solve and plenty of platforming sections. The story is a well written tale of vengeance, and is bolstered by strong voice acting and some jaw dropping visuals. The game remains of the best action adventure titles on the PS3, and offered a satisfying end to Kratos story, though Sony an Santa Monica Studio dont appear to be done with the character, as several prequels have been released. For those wishing to indulge in a fair amount of carnage this is the game to play.

5. Valkyria Chronicles (david)

A small nation overcomes all odds and emerges triumphant. War has never been forgiving and Valkyria Chronicles is filled with moments of sheer tragedy, personal loss that shakes the very foundations, and blooming romance that will tear at your heartstrings. Amidst the cookie cutter shooters and adventure games that has violence in spades, Valkyria Chronicles not only stands out for its beautifully crafted cel-shaded graphics but also for its unique and challenging gameplay. Like the Fire Emblem games which involve a lot of tactical planning and careful consideration before making a move, the sheer sense of accomplishment when you clear some of the latter stages is second to none. Which units do you deploy, who should make a quick dash through enemy lines, how to best thin out the enemys relentless assault? These are just some of the questions that players will ask themselves. And in a battle for supremacy  that can be shifted in one favor with one false move, the stakes are high in what is arguably the definite strategy game in PS3s long list of must-have titles.

selvaria

Selvaria, a deeply troubled antagonist

4. Journey (rigbybot127)

Journey is not a game in any traditional sense. Sure there are collectibles, and you move your character like one moves a character in a third-person game, but Journey eschews the normal video game format of quests, attacking, and health, as well as the ability to die at all; for a rich, gorgeous atmosphere, with beautiful lighting techniques utilized, (as you can see from the above screenshot, has the best sand in gaming) coupled with a rewarding narrative, that doesnt rely on heavy exposition or any dialogue whatsoever, and instead allows you and a completely random stranger to look past superficial details, simply make little chirping sounds to signal your new friend over, and create a real emotional connection with one another, as well as memories that will last forever, with a person youll never see again, all on that mighty trek towards the omnipresent mountaintop.

A sight to behold

3. Ni No Kuni (david)

As far as JRPGs go, many havent been as good as they used to. Marred with dated mechanics that fail to recapture the excitement of progressing through a story, playing it too safe with predictable gameplay and relying on past successes simply isnt cutting it. Ni No Kuni with its strikingly beautiful animations is a game that is very much alive and a genuine throwback to JRPGs of old. With characters in which you genuinely care for, it sets itself apart by going back to basics, making exploration and leveling up fun again. Familiars, companions that you can serenade and recruit to your team after beating them, is a neat addition. Much like the addictive nature of Pokemon, there is much satisfaction to be gained when one manages to serenade a familiar. Varied in design and personality, each encounter with them calls for different strategies and weaknesses to exploit. With over a hundred of familiars to collect and train, one can easily spent countless hours just wandering around the mass landscape completing errands as well as hunting for that elusive familiar. This is one game you wouldnt want to miss.

This truly is a beautifully crated game

2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (rigbybot127)

The full proverb is No Honor Among Thieves, which is certainly the case in Nathan Drakes second outing, and in most minds, his best. His first game showed a lot of potential, which was unfortunately not ceased due to clunky shooting controls and screen-tearing. Uncharted 2 takes its potential, and runs it up a very large hill, and has perfect framerate and zero screen-tearing, making it one of the most technically perfect console games ever made. Uncharted 2 pays homage to a lot of action-packed Hollywood movies (most notably the Indiana Jones series), and plays like a 12-hour movie, with all the action, romance, twists and turns you would expect from such; but the pacing is perfect, never gets stale, making it a joyride to play long after the credits roll.

A well crated adventure game, that doesnt let up

1. Metal Gear Solid 4 (david)

Storytelling in games, ranges from the downright bizarre (go ahead and Google Seaman, dont say we didnt warn you) to one that leaves you on an emotionally charged roller coaster ride and never lets up. Metal Gear Solid 4 is that game. With precision and fluidity coexisting effortlessly, the narrative is at its strongest in Metal Gear Solid 4. You see Snake isnt the same man; diagnosed with accelerated aging, he is wrinkled, nurses his stiff joints and is looking a lot worse for the wear. Although some cutscenes in the Metal Gear Solid series may be overly long, viewing them in its entirety is integral if one is to fully soak in the epic narrative. And in a game that has them in spades, each cutscene blends in seamlessly with smart gameplay that lets you tackle a stage in numerous ways. Do you take the stealthy route and pick off enemies one by one or go in guns blazing, shooting the living daylights of anyone who gets in your path? The choices you make and overcoming them on the harder difficulties is extremely rewarding as it is fun.  The fact that it debuted 5 years ago and yet remains at the very top of the list, is testament to just how great this game is. And if by some means you havent played it yet, we strongly urge you to give it a go.

Solid Snake

Snake truly has seen better days

Standout moment: The fight between Vamp and Raiden, is choreographed to perfection. Once a pushover and a big pet peeve of MGS2, Raiden is not only more composed but also a much bigger badass.

All Nintendo fans know that one of the companies biggest 2nd party developers is Retro Studios who have made such games as the Metroid Prime series and Donkey Kong Country Returns. Less known however, yet equally worthy of praise are Next Level Games. This Canadian studio, founded in 2002 have developed a string of great games in popular Nintendo franchises for Nintendo systems The first of these was Super Mario Strikers on Gamecube that was released in 2005 but for me their most recent three games are the ones that stand out.

The first of these was Mario Strikers Charged Football on Wii in 2007. This follow up to Super Mario Strikers was the first Wii game to include online multiplayer and one of the first Wii games I got. It was fantastic fun in both single and multiplayer and the online is still fun to this day(if you can get a game). It improved on the original in a number of ways and firmly established Next Level Games as a developer to look out for.

In 2009 they released another Wii game: Punch-Out. With it, Next Level Games succeeded in restoring life to a Nintendo franchise that was seemingly dead. They retained the games mechanics whilst making it for for the modern day and it was an undoubted triumph. It is simple to get into but difficult to master just like Punch-Out games of old. Its success seemingly established them as a key developer for Nintendo and as such Nintendo turned to them to bring another series back to life.

Earlier this year, their latest game, Luigi's Mansion 2 was released. Coming a decade after the original, Next Level Games have again managed to keep what works from the original but make it fresh and suitable to the present day. It is an even greater improvement than was the case with the Punch-Out though and brings plenty new to the table. Next Level Games' abilities are clear and I am truly excited to see what they bring us next.

For more on my thoughts regarding Luigi's Mansion 2 please check out my review. Constructive criticism about my review style would be welcome too.

Thanks for reading.

TV integration?  THAT'S A PROBLEM!

Instead of getting excited for the upcoming Xbox, I see a console that is no longer a box.  The box cannot exist without about 300,000 other boxes called servers spread throughout the world.  MS has put so much of an emphasis on the Cloud that they've spent hundreds of millions improving their networks.  The next XBox isn't what you buy at the store; it's what you pay per month.  Quite frankly, you cannot enjoy the Xbox One without an always online credit card connection.  At least that's the impression I got.

Oh, and of course, there's the reports about the always online crap and the used games fees again.

http://kotaku.com/xbox-one-does-require-internet-connection-cant-play-o-509164109

http://www.gamespot.com//news/xbox-one-has-preowned-fee-report-6408671?fb_ref=rec_features

(According to Xbox Support's Twitter, the GS article is false https://twitter.com/XboxSupport3/status/336937800702238722)

Obviously, MS wouldn't be spending any of their unveiling time denying or confirming these reports.  We probably won't receive official confirmation until E3, but damned if what I've heard isn't damning.

As for the next Kinect, I don't want it.  I made the big mistake buying one back in 2010, which is still sitting in its box.  The problem is, I simply don't have the room for it.  I won't have the room for Kinect 2.0.  Same goes with Illumiroom.  Why push something so hard that can't be enjoyed by everyone?  Push more games.  All you need for games is a TV and a controller.  Don't keep pushing Smartglass. Don't keep pushing Kinect.  Push games.  PUSH GAMES!

This is embarrassing. This is MS at its most embarrassing, and I'm talking more embarrassing than Kinectimals.  More embarrassing than Usher Raymond.  It's so embarrassing, it makes me embarrassed just to know that I own an Xbox 360. It is appauling to see a company who practically bullied their way into the industry full of people who felt they had no business being there and shut them up by bringing freaking gamesm into shifting so much into social and media integration and focusing on games as an afterthought (turning Rare into a shovelware Kinect developer is reprehensible).  Yeah, Sony's doing more social things too, but they're actually doing it alongside games.

All this XBL and Cloud fluff.  All this Kinect.  All this SmartGlass.  These futuristic integrations because we're too lazy to look for a freaking remote.  It's so god damned unnecessary, and MS will have one helluva time convincing me that I need to buy their machine.  It doesn't matter at this point now.  I'm so done with MS that I don't care how many new exclusives they release, it's not worth putting up with all the MS BS that comes with it.  Oh, and what the hell is with the name?  Xbox One?  The first Xbox was the Xbox One.  Is MS so inept that they forgot how to count?

Yeah, you can bash the Wii U all you want, but it's more of a gaming console than the Xbox One will ever be.  Don't agree?

My Car

achievementunlocked

That's right!!! As of last night at 12:01 A.M. it became official... I own my car!!! I am so happy now that I can start to save all of that money from each month again into savings! It has been a long but very nice 5 years and I have taken the utmost awesome care of it. I have not even gone over 100,000 miles yet... ahd she still drives wonderfully! Time for a nice glass of wine and some relaxation... 60 perfect payments and what an awesome credit score booster as well! I am so thankful and Truely Blessed!!!

I also am simply going to say this also about the Microsoft Conference today... I am not impressed at all. I know that new upgrades are going to happen... but so many negatives and so few positives about the new XBox. What a let down for serious gamers. I personally am going to ride out my few months I have left on XBox Live and when it is done... I will be done with XBox too!!! I took todays conference as a "Slap in the Face" to all gamers who have supported them for the last serveral years, I being one of them... and I simply choose not to go further supporting that company!

Have a wonderful week ahead and my God Bless you where ever you are!!!

Maybe not like the one in '84 but seeing a number of studios closing, and the AAA games being bigger and more bloated and not making back their production costs (see the Tomb Raider reboot), and the industry's greed getting worse and worse. It's not unrealistic to think the PS4 could be a $700 system with $70 games. The average Joe doesn't have tons of money to put into high end systems and games and has cheaper alternatives in the form of tablet games. Meanwhile the hardcore gamers and the studios seem to be blind to this more interested in fancy graphics and "emotional polygons" and honestly I'm tired of it all. I like games but I'm tired of the industry greed, developer's egos and fanboys..oh the fanboys but instead of writing a big long editorial discussing about this possible crash I saw The 25th Hour and I heard Edward Norton's famous monologue about NY and I started think of a verion I had for my thoughts on all this. Of course I had to censor it because GS doesn't like naughty language so either you are all going to love this or hate this.

F*** you? F*** me.

F*** this whole gamer culture and everyone in it.

F*** the Xbox Live brats, screaming their racist, homophobic slurs into headsets. Stupid spoiled brats.

F*** EA, money grubbing corporate pigs, self styled masters of the universe with their DRM and on disc DLC figuring out new ways to rob gamers blind. You think we don't know about this. Give us a break. Activison, Microsoft, Sega Nintendo. All of you.

F**** the stuck up elistist PC gamers and they're $1000 gaming rigs. Not all of us are made of money you know.

F**** the "fake geek girls" with their anorexic bodies and fake boobs making it hard for us legitmate girl gamers to be taken seriously. You're not foolin' anyone honey!

F*** David Cage and his "emotional polygons."

F*** the hypocritical parents who condemn games for making their kids violent then throw an Ipad in the little snot's faces because it's a cheap baby sittier.

F*** the NRA using games as a scapegoat. Yeah let's destroy the 1st Amendment to protect the 2nd amendment. That makes a lot of sense.

F*** the mobile game makers, making half assed things, calling them games then shoving as many microtransactions into them as possible.

F**** Gamestop and their crummy trade in value and their overpriced used games. You force your employees to shove preorders and magazine subscriptions down our throats and can't even pay them decent wages.

F*** the fanboys and their whiny malcontent.

F*** this industry and everyone in it. From Japan to Europe. From the studios in California to the lofts in New York. Let an earthquake crumble it. Let the fires rage. Let it burn to f***** ash then let the waters rise and submerge this whole, rat-infested industry.

No. F**** you kbaily. You're getting too old for this.

But i would like to have a top 15 Rare Games countdown as well, but i think it will be down the road since i don't want to overkill the subject of Rareware too much.. I have another planned countdown for  Top 10 Characters for Super Smash Bros Wiiu/3DS and  Top 10 Kart Racers and more so stay tuned..

As for new purchases i have made a few since my last update so lets get to it!

271094b.jpg

I figured the price would go down for this game, glad i both waited and bought this game for like 35 bucks its well worth it, the game is a masterpeice every way through bringing back lots of good memories of RPGs and why i love the dying genre even more. I feel more games should be like this game and its easily one of the best RPG's for PS3 amazing graphics, touching story, fun gameplay, witty story telling and lots of depth, like peeling an onion i feel like i am just hitting the surface of what this game has to offer..

271128b.jpg

My older bro Bought this for me for my birthday and i am very happy he did and thankful. LBP Karting was a game that was looking forward to all last year, but when bad reviews came upon release i kinda loss a bit of interest and hoping for a price drop. It feels like LBP and features all the great customazation and creativty the series is known for. The Controls are a tad touchy and power ups are crazy making this even more hextic then mario kart at times.. But Overall i am having a lot of fun with this game and i think people are too hard on the game, it exactly what i expected LBP karting to be.. so whats to complain?!

YES!! My favorite Rolling Armadillo is back in another awesome 3D Western Tower Defense action game! With Improved Graphics, New Allies/Rangers, improved Salon Segements and a new Train to protect, the game has everything a Rolling western Fan would like. So if you enjoyed the first on or are looking for somthing new and fun on 3DS give Dillon a Roll..

cover_large.jpg

I thought i give this game a try after seeing pretty good reviews and watching vids the game is all about platforming collecting Acorns and doing so in the fast time possible.. its a very simple fun game that is a nice addition to my 3DS eshop Library..

I recently Beat

I plan to write a full review for this exciting installment of the Luigi's Mansion series, but overall The Gamespot review of this game had to be the worse pile of crap i have ever read and the lady just stinks at the game. its something the 3DS owners need to play, it features fun missions that breakdown each mansion and awesome ending.. It has more of nintendo Mario feel and its perfect for Portable play.. for more see my review in the upcoming Days/weeks whenever i feel like it!! lol

Anyways until next time...

I have not visited Gamespot since late 2010. Why???

It simple one day I got drunk (age 19-20), went to a fit of rage got kicked out of my mother's house, which I use to called home since I was born now I call it "That House" which I rarely visit.

I became literally a hobo until I crashed in into my father's house. which I call "That House 2" I still considered myself a homeless man in a way. I mean I'm a grown ass man STILL living with one of my parent. Now age 22 almost 23.

Since then I've been studing the worst course you can choose Fine Art (A broke man's subject) However I'm back on track ( I think) I smoke weed it keeps me calm No alcohol

I plan to study further in the future preferably animation.

For now I'll make sure I visit atleast once every two weeks.

Ps DONT BECAME A HOBO

How it began, GameSpot contacted me to ask if I knew of any competitive Unreal Tournament gamers for E3 2005. I provided a solid professional gamer and it didn't take long for them to offer a community manager position for the GameCenter service that allowed you to build your own game servers. I've pretty much done everything at GameSpot, from a daily show to stage show assistance but one area I never touched is reviews, and for good reason! It's a tough job.  Outside GameSpot, I've dealt with other games media networks, events, and services but now it's time to see how games are built from a developer's point of view. The game I'll be working with has two of my favorite gameplay components: rocket packs and rocket launchers! LOL But yes, the game is a competitive shooter so I fit right in.

I'll miss all of you but I know we'll keep in touch. As for whether or not you're in good hands, GameSpot staff is working diligently around the clock to rebuild the site. I can't wait to see what's on the horizon!

As part of the agreement, EA will create new Star Wars titles for a "core gaming audience." These games will span "all interactive platforms" and "the most popular game genres." Disney, meanwhile, will retain rights to create new Star Wars games for mobile, social, tablet, and online markets.

"Every developer dreams of creating games for the Star Wars universe," EA Labels president Frank Gibeau said in a statement. "Three of our top studios will fulfill that dream, crafting epic adventures for Star Wars fans."

Battlefield studio DICE and Dead Space outfit Visceral Games are currently making new Star Wars games, joining BioWare, which will continue to support Star Wars: The Old Republic. The new games from DICE and Visceral will run on the Frostbite 3 engine.

"The new experiences we create may borrow from films, but the games will be entirely original with all new stories and gameplay," Gibeau said.

Financial terms of the EA-Disney deal were not disclosed. EA will report earnings tomorrow after market close, where more information about the deal is expected to be divulged.

The fate of Star Wars: 1313 and Star Wars: First Assault remains unclear.

Disney purchased the Star Wars brand last October for $4.05 billion.

honestly, with DICE and Visceral making Star Wars games, this is not a bad decision. now we can blow stuff up. here's hoping for a new Battlefront game.
