I actually found my old gamecube box ( you know the box that the gamecube comes in!), so i picked it up and dust it off and looked at the back off it.

It had all sorts of crazy games posted on it like Luigi's mansion and Mario Cart double dash so i was like hey im going to play some Gamecube now!

So i unhooked my 360 and grabbed my gamecube from under my bed and fired that bad boy up! Man that Gamecube start up never gets old! I was suprised too see Timesplitters Future Perfect in there so im like alright i love this game so lets play..I was suprised to find that the controller was very comfortable and the buttons seem to not be sticky and the joysticks were still very stiff.

Back to the game though i just love the visuals for this game and it was very pleasent to the eyes. I was creating my own map which is always a blast on any game. This is unique because i think no other game can compete with this creation system. Its very simple!

Many hours later i finally shut it off and i was thinking to myself.....I miss my Gamecube and i miss playing it.

These days you cant really sit with a game and TRULEY ENJOY IT! Dont get me wrong titles like Fallout 3 and Forza 2 are fun to play mainly because they focus on single player action but im just saying they dont make games like they use to. These days its all about Insane graphics and 48 player multiplayer and require you to have HIGH SPEED INTERNET! Games like Call of Duty: World at War REQUIRE high speed internet for you to get the FULL experience of the game.

What i really want game developers to do is to put an even amount of effort to appeal to offline users as much as they apeal to the online gamers too. Not everyone can have high speed internet connection! I just want people that buy games get their moneys worth. Paying 60 bucks for for a movie experience campaign and very little extras? No thanks..

I give props to Epic games for at least trying to appeal to the offline gamers by adding bot matches on all the multi player maps with all the awsome game modes avaliable, i think they were trying to give them a good experience.

Yeah well i probably went on too long babbling a bunch of non-sense but whatever...thanks for reading!

I JUST LOST THE GAME! and so did you. khopps. (your the only one you is probably gonna read this)

okay so i think i have about 8 gold medals in portal but i haven't really been trying that hard i'm sure i could have at least 12 if i was trying since i last posted. AND

TF2 PICTURES!

that dude did that the whole game.

hes just chillin

play CTF and you will see this 20 hundred times in one game. its kinda funny really

maby just one more sniper and we'll be good.

and it wouldn't be considered one of my blogs without a song at the end.

FYI i choose this song depending on which song is stuck in my head and i really really like at the current time. not what i am currently listening to. (in case you were wondering) also it depends on which song i can find an mp3 file online of. luckily this time i could find the exact song i was looking for. 90% of the time i can.

Song of The Moment: The Back Of Your Mouth - The Used

I was tagged by Egonga, who threatened to molest me (again) if I refused to do as he said.
Let's hope I get this thing right, or that's half a dozen years of additional therapy down the line. That or a career as a stand up comedian, because humour is a defense mechanism. And because rape is hilarious.

1. I have no sense of time. This means that I am almost always late for everything. Actually, I don't think I've been on time for anything in the past 3 years, except for flights.

2. I am a chronic procrastinator. That's pretty much a prerequisite to my writing this crap in the first place, so I'll tell you something less obvious.

2. I am an extremely lucky person. I seem to have a knack for wiggling out of tight spots. I also believe in karma, or at least in the concept that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. So every time I get lucky, I see it as a bad omen. "God is just setting me up for a bigger fall", I tell myself, "This can't go on forever... life is biding its time and letting it all build up. One day, life is going to kick me in the balls."

3. I am extremely narcissistic, both physically and mentally, but I rationalize it by saying that everyone is just as self-absorbed... they're just not as honest about it.

4. I want to become a Buddhist and embrace the entirety of existence with all-ecompassing love. Failing that, I want to oppress people and take pleasure in their misfortune.

5. I have no moral compass.

Now that we're through with this dissection, I'm tagging Elraptor, (rest of list will appear soon)

Tue, 08 Aug 2006 23:10:45 -0700 AYANE69 writes: 4 months till the CONSOLE wars begin, another synopsis http://www.gamespot.com/users/AYANE69/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=m-100-24648111 Sony seems to have made a lot of mistakes and it would seem that this console war is between nintendo and MS

Sony; is placing too much time and effort into the blu-ray player, knowing sony`s track record this propetiary device will not fare well outside of the PS3 console, just look at betamax, umd`s and mini discs - yes it can store more info but that doesn`t matter, if a programmer is good he can condense info and program wisely. For instance take the program kkreiger which is only 96k, it looks as if it werer several hundred mega bytes. never heard of it heres a link:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.kkrieger

and in reality who cares about blu-ray or hd-dvd for that matter, i mean are people really going to upgrade all there movies, tv and so on for this- albeit gamers who are money poor to begin with, maybe they should have marketed that for movie buffs, not gamers. Another thing is Sony`s reliance on just having the fastest most powerful console; well thats all well and good but it needs to be resonable as well, i feel this console war is going to be less about power and more about experiance. it seems sony is making the same mistakes sega did years ago - making the most powerful console regardless of price and ability to program for.

.

MS; well what can i say over 5.3 million sold so far with great games, connectivity and its only just begun. _real time counter

http://nexgenwars.com/

The developers of gears of war had said that that game was only using 1 core at E3!!! the 360 has 3!!  http://xbox360.qj.net/Gears-of-War-Only-Running-on-One-Core-/pg/49/aid/3378

The 360 also has xbox live and arcade which are very succesful.

NINTENDO; well again what can i say nintendo has rabid fans, a great looking system, a great price to performance ratio, its got it all and is going to be tough to beat.

so i have changed my view for a third time i think MS will come out on time after x-mas with nintendo right behind

by next x-mas i see nintendo taking the lead with MS very close behind and Sony very far behind, in 5-6 years SOny will catch up and surpass but for 2-3 years MS and nintendo will be fighting for the top spot

#10 - Wolfenstein Series

#9 - The Star Wars Series

#8 - Tom Clancy`s Rainbor Six Series

#7 - The Perfect Dark Series

#6 - The Quake Series

#5 - The Unreal Tournament Series

#4 - The Half-Life Series

#3 - The James Bond Series

#2 - The Halo Series

#1 - The Doom Series

Each of these works of art deserve more recognition then the next. Some of these games were the first, and still remain strong. Some have died off until later years. Either way, people will not remember this rebelious genre, without thinking of these titles. Feel free to comment on the list, and add any additions you would like.

I wont be posting or whatever, only checking my PMs from time to time, and as soon as I get my PC back, I'll be glad to post again, knowing what's going on.

I expect that everyone in here is still fine, and happy.
See ya amigos. Paul
