My original launch 60GB PS3 complete with backwards compatibility, that I've had since day one, has finally kicked the bucket. Well, sort of. The system still works and runs DVD & BD just fine, but has a hard time running games (new & old). It wasn't a huge surprise however as it started showing signs about a month ago that it was on its way out, but still sad nonetheless. So R.I.P. fatty (gaming wise) :') you will always have a special place in my heart.

However, not all is bad news for me as I have actually purchased a replacement Slim Ps3. I went out and bought the 320GB Infamous 2 bundle, which is great because I haven't played Infamous before and now is my chance to maybe get into the series

I've only been watching these guys for about a year now, but that's more than enough to know that 4PP is awesome. They're simply great, and from this blog post, I am spreading the word. Based out of Austin, Texas, 4PP started around 2008, as a simple kind of project, but today they're huge, comparable to GiantBomb, Gamespot, etc, and perhaps better. They won Gaming podcast of the year two years in a row thus far, and I imagine they wish to win a 3rd time. 4PP consists of four people (hence their name) Brad Simons, David Liao, Nick Henderson, and Travis Granger, along with many well known "submembers" such as the very humorous Carlos Ottino, the smart Nolan Hedstrom (In a way, Nolan has "replaced" Travis, as Travis has been busy with life, but will broadcast on occasion.), and the recent Jack, who hails from the UK.

I discovered these guys via their Youtube channel, whom mind you has 80k subscribers, but now I watch them every night on justin.tv. Every single one of these guys are game critics in their own right, and are very funny. Every member of 4PP, including the submembers have different tastes in games as well, for example.. Brad Simons. As a very big critic on games, Brad Simons currently sees the current generation of gaming as "too focused on multiplayer", or FPS (in America), causing great gaming experiences like Vanquish, Enslaved, and Valkyria Chronicles to be left out. He even sees some of the highly rated games as "butt" such as Black Ops.

Yeah, crappy way of me explaining who these guys are. Click the link above for a better summary. Whoever reads this, I urge you to at least check these guys out on their youtube channel with the same name. They will broadcast as early (from my experience) as 3PM, to as late as 11PM (They're two hours ahead from where I live, so 1PM and 9PM in my case.)

Second, my rage is actually directed at GameStop. I went there a couple of days ago and I tried to buy Fable 3. The ONE TIME I'm completely by myself, they decide that they want to card me. Because of circumstances beyond my control, I haven't been able to get an ID, so I pretty much got screwed.

Mind you, this is the exact same store that I bought Assassin's Creed Brotherhood from NOT THREE WEEKS AGO (I was by myself in the store, but my aunt was at the mall with me so I'd have been able to bring her in if something happened that day), and they didn't ask me then. Okay, I understand that they have to observe regulation and whatever, but it just pisses me off that they're not consistent, and the one time I needed them NOT to ask me, they asked me. RAGE.

So, you're probably wondering why I am back here. Well I was watching a yt video about childhood and it got me thinking. This place made a huge impact on my childhood, and I kinda miss it. So, since the person I'm talking to is taking forever to reply, I figured I would logged on and checked my messages. Then I went back and reread my past 3 blogs...Wow. I can't believe I was so childish =S

Yes, when I was on here, I was very immature...Of course, at the time I was also 14 so...Yeah. I'm just that special >> Either way.

Anyways, hello old and new friends! A lot has changed since the last time I was on here(because that's just what happens when you disappear for 3 and a half years.)

I think I might have to reintroduce myself. On here, you guys know me as sakurathedancer. In real life, I have actually started going by the nickname Saki. In fact, recently a got a piece of mail where a college actually thought that was my real name. Anyways, I'm getting off topic.

I am 18 now. I've now been a vegetarian for 2 and a half years. I am also a haunt kid. Yes, I find great pleasure in making a grown man scream like a little girl, and making people run from me.

This year and last year, I decided to go to a tech center at my school. Basically that means that halfway through my school day, I leave my high school and go to a building down the street to take a class there instead. The classes are worth college credits. Tech is half of my schedule, which means that since this is my second year at tech, I could have skipped senior year entirely, if I had felt like it. Last year I was in the programming class, and this year I am in the Web Design and Development class. And yes, school is a huge part of my life, which is why I'm talking so much about it. I'll move on now.

Besides school, the only other thing that really influences my life is my friends. For two or three years now, I have been a cosplayer. I met my friends through cosplay. But I might stop cosplaying because of lack of time/money and the drama in the cosplay world...Sounds kinda familiar. Sad.

Anyways, all of my friends live far away from me. Most of them live about an hour away, when I take the freeway to go see them.

I know I should probably shut up now because this is getting to long, therefore I'll end this quickly.

For those of you who said I'd come back, here is your bragging rights. I just might, depending on time and how many people will still talk to me on here after my huge drama blowup last time. I really have to wonder if anyone will even remember who I am.

To those that have made it through this entire thing, Icongratulateyou. I know this was probably long, boring, and maybe confusing. My mind is all over the place right now, which would be why.

Here is my question to you guys: Do you want me to come back? And if so, should I make a different account to start fresh, or should I continue to use this one?

I was thinking about times when I would go to sleep at 11pm, and in what seemed to be 10 seconds later wake up at 3am to go to some wrestling tournament. Time seemed to pass in an instant, and this is because I wasn't "conscious".

When one undergoes surgery, often the surgery passes in what seems like an instant.

Now, we like to think of ourselves as being "conscious" when we are awake and "unconscious" while asleep in certain parts of the sleep cycle. But if you divide down further, is it not possible that we are conscious only, say, half of the time?

If you are conscious for 10 milliseconds, then unconscious for 10 milliseconds, and back and forth like that, it would be like being knocked out for surgery or dreamless sleep - but with one big difference: your world doesn't change much in 10 milliseconds. So to you, it would seem as if your consciousness was continuous, when really it was just a machine-gun.

As for time perception, the theory to be derived from this is obvious. As you grow older, perhaps the bursts of consciousness become shorter and the unconscious gaps become longer, resulting in the perception that time is passing faster.
