Yep. Yesterday I finally finished my science-fiction novel at exactly 156, 213 words long. It was an incredible jounrey, and I'd be lying if I said I loved every moment of it, but the most part I enjoyed it more than I ever thought I would.

Now I just have to get it edited asnd published. And for those of you who don't know: getting your book published is a hundred times harder than writing one. There's submissions, agents, query letters, synopsises, summaries, contacts, posting, printing, and the best part: waiting for a reply. One publishing group said they take around 12 months to reply. Yeah, fvck that.

So if you guys know any publishers or agents I'd appreciate it. So far all I've gotten is "no" or "Thanks, it's interesting, but no" or some other crap like that.

So yeah, if anyone wants any additional information about it or even the first chapter let me know.

since i got my first job and well...

i just got another one

I am now a new employee at the tech desk at CompUSA. This to me, HUGE. And i'm doing ALL of this without my A+ certification. With the help of my two jobs, i'm sure the A+ will be a piece of cake when I take it.

One step closer to me getting better, and one step closer to moving out of this wretched state.

Hi everyone. This is kinda late, but we competed at the LA regional (in Long Beach) last week. We won all our matches the first day, and it looked like we would go undefeated in qualifying matches, which would be excellent for alliance selection purposes. Unfortunately, we had some problems Saturday morning. We kept throwing the belts on our conveyor system, so we weren't able to shoot at all. On the plus side, we managed to finally get the bridge arm working on Friday, so we didn't have to rely on our alliance partners to lower the bridge for us. We ended up going 7-2, which put us in a poor position for alliance selections, and ended up with a weak alliance. We ended up making it to the semi finals, and losing the the alliance that won the competition. Would have liked to have done better, but we had a great season this year.

Its hard to ignore sales, looking at the best sellers every year, 15 of the top 20 sellers will have a multiplayer in their game, in theory multiplayer is a great idea that will make the game better and give it a ton of replayability.

However, thats only true if the multiplayer is fun, has enough people playing it, and had enough time and money put into it to make it worth while.

What we've been seeing lately is medicore single players mixed with mediocre multiplayer, creating a mediocre game, multiplayer when used correctly, is fine, but when its tacked on purely for the sake of sales, all its doing is keeping the single player from being as good as it should be.

But unfortunately, you see games like Vanquish, Mass Effect, and Infamous that are amazing, but dont get the sales they deserve because they dont have multiplayer. Its even gotten to the point that its a "Flaw" if the game doesnt have multiplayer, games had single player only for over 2 decades and they were doing just fine, why do we have to drastically change that?

Im all for innovation, i dont want to play the same game over and over, but if you are going to make a multiplayer, make it because you think you have a great idea for a fun multiplayer, then put the proper time and resources into that multiplayer to make it successful, afterall, if your multiplayer isnt any good, nobody will play it, and its a useless feature, unlike single player that you can pick up and play 20 years later.

Well, this year, the ps2 is kinda getting old. I've already had a good amount of RPG's ( Final Fantasy, Shadow Hearts) and my mom's not letting me get a XBOX360, a PS3, or a Wii any time soon. So, i've been on the lookout for some new games to add to my collection ( I have 11 games ) and I love RPG's and Action games, surprisingly, Clock Tower 3 is in my interests. I just don't know what games to get. Maybe:

1. Clock Tower 3

2. Xenosaga III

3. Dawn of Mana

4. Valkyrie Profile

5.Devil May Cry 3

6. Onimusha 2

7. Grandia II

These all look pretty interesting. Put in what games you think I should get.
