A great start on learning just how much it can take to create a basic RPG.
For newbies to this kind of program it has a steap learning curve, most of your time with be spent looking up how other people have done stuff and playing around with the options in the RPG Maker XP to learn. Making any RPG, basic or not, takes a lot of time. This type of experience is for those people who like to brainstorm almost as much as playing the actual videogames.
The tools are all there. You have thousands of samples from everything to images to predesigned moves for you to learn off of. In fact if your not satisfied with your selection sometimes you can import stuff like music or your custom made images. If your good enough at scripting there is literally nothing you can't do. All you need now is the patience and the will to use them. Like I mentioned earlier though, this program takes a lot of research, so don't expect to know everything an create those RPGs magically. So buy only if you are willing to put in the time.
