Time consuming if you want a decent and if not horrible if you just want to play.

We've all wanted to make an rpg that would be kick butt right. To be able to make your own storyline and characters. The idea of it is amazing but be warned it may just be an idea. RPG maker 3 was a great idea at best. I bought a copy thinking i'd be able to play one kick butt game that i'd appreciate wrong. You can create things but only as an edit. You can edit characters, land, castles, weapons, monsters, your characters abilities, and even the towns but beyond that point it goes down. The time to create a decent one would be ok if the game didn't have faults. My copy's text input isn't in the right place so it takes forever trying to figure out where the letters are. Witch was horrible enough when you think about how much you'd be inputting the words you want your characters to say. The game itself is a little more time then the avarage person can fit in there schedule. Specially since they have you doing every little tiny detail of the game. For example when i made a weapon i had to put on which character it would be on and then i had to choose what level he had to be to equip it. Then theres the store it sells in and how much it sells for. Some other flaws are that your character can walk threw trees and even on the lowest setting of attack your character still gets attacked every 10 seconds. The brightside is you can choose what land you get attacked on bad side is you haft to equip and create the monster that attacks on that specific part of the land. Overall i guess i'm saying this is a bit to much for most people. In the end i managed to create a few levels before throwing it somewhere and only thinking about it when i have nothing to do. I'll pop it in and realize this is definitely not how i want to spend my time. Theres an up side though the makers have a game made for you and you can play threw that but its so corny your better off going to walmart and picking something randomly off the shelf. Odds are it'll be better. Though if it did have the text board working right and they had included some type of ket board for the game this game would be rocking but instead i name this game a complete waste of time.
