R.O.S.E or is this Ragnorok?
The only major down side to this game I find is that my first impressions was, This game is so! much like Ragnarok that, I actuly thought I installed the wrong game by mistake.
Ok Items and people and jobs have different names, however everything is almost exactly the same as the Ragnarok game.
Rose online, is a nice game with cute characters and female player friendly game, Rose doesn't support or make a great game for Casual players. As your considored to be a low level until you reach, what be considored by most the dizzy hights of level 40.
In games like world of warcraft you get rewarded at level 20/30/40 but not so with Rose online. You don't get your first "reward" until you reach level 50.
You also don't get any real power until your level 100. So unless you are a power leveler. I would recomend you stay away from this game.
There is a small amount of prejudice to lower levels in the game. When you first enter the game for the first time you are left confused and wondering until your level 18, when you can figure things out for your self.
Unless you explore the offical web site or downloaded a map from some where else. The minimap in the game is almost useless, indeed it shows you where you currently are. However when you have to go to different places and you would like to check on a map how to get there you have to alt+tab out or exit the game log onto the web site to find out.
The player atmosphere created by the community is a nice one, having been in a few, it made a refreshing surprise to learn the population is 80% female. So you can be sure at least of getting a decent convosation.
Dispite its many flaws, Rose online does have some unique features that I've seen rarly before.
like the Party leveling feature which allows your party to gain a level or two which rewards you for your team play by giving you increased xp and drop rate.
Summoning up, this game isn't a bad one and there are a lot worse out there. However the game is rather new still and there are a lot of improvements to be made, Lower the down time as in the amount of time you have to sit around and do nothing.
Improve the user-interface or make players create MODS/ADD-ons to make their own interface.
Personal rating, Leave it on the shelve if you already playing a MMORPG.
Not for first time players,
Not for Casual players,
only for players with a lot of time and money and are good power levelers.
