As good as it may seem, prepare to get frustrated at times.

Rohan is a PvP based game and it does the part well, the graphics and visuals are quite stunning and the variety of skills and classes makes a good mixture of uniqueness. However having said that, this game has flaws, it's basically a cake but hollow inside.

For starters when you start the game, money, travel and knowledge of where to go are quite hard to gather, however this is common in a MMO game, unless you have a friend that plays and can guide you, starting out can be difficult. Since it is a PvP game your going to get killed, however you can't PvP till your lvl 30 and although your probably shaking with excitement at the fact you can kill once you reached level 30, you don't get to kill, you basically only get killed. In Rohan the exp is very slow, so it limits you to places where you can level, at level 30 you will find yourself at Ahkma cave, however every tool level 50+ wants to hang there to kill noobs, therefore your going to die a lot. Not only is exp slow itself but having parties destroyed all the time just slows it down further. And soloing in this game is very very slow.

Even when you leave Ahkma cave which is around level 40+, you are not going to escape getting killed, especially in these more recent times where so many people are level 90+, they can then afford to stop everyone else from leveling up simply because they already have the highest level. Unless you find yourself a guild which can defend you, you're never going to be safe.

Now apart from all these factors, it may be a F2P MMO, but if you want to be good at it you're going to need to spend money, exp scrolls, reset stones, all that stuff. The game basically forces you to spend money, not to mention the problems with botting and hacking, as if you thought getting killed by high levels all the time wasn't enough...so many people bot and hack it's insane, even though it's improved recently it's still happening often. And generally all the people that are high levels and can hack normally stay in the one guild therefore they basically take over the server, and as weird as that may sound it's not as difficult as it seems, i mean nearly everyone has the view 'If you can't beat them, join them'. Therefore the people that hack and bot there way to high levels, people join them so they don't get killed, which just adds to a pile of mess.

Rohan is a good PvP game with loads of potential, despite these really annoying and frustrating land mines, if you have patience and time, you can weave your way around them and find satisfaction within this game.
