Being from Philadelphia and being a huge Rocky fan this game delivered creating nastalgia. If your a fan, play this.
The gameplay is far from Fight Night but easy to get a hang of.
There are 5 characters for Rocky, one from each movie and 2 Apollo Creeds for Rocky 1 and 2. Of Course Clubber Lang, Ivan Drago, and Tommy Gunn are in the game. They take it a step farther! Remember in Rocky 1 when it starts off in the Chapel where Rocky is Fighting Spider Rico? Spider Rico is in the game, as well as some of the fighter Rocky defends his title against in the montage in Rocky 3. Mick makes his way in this game of course but sadly it dosent use Burgess Meredith's voice.
The training games are fun and they go with the movie. Rocky even punches the raw meat like in Rocky 1 and 2
All in all this game isnt the most advanced boxing game but if your a Rocky fan it'll rub you the right way, because many of the aspects of the movie make their way into this game. Plus you actually fight Tommy Gunn in the street under the L, theres a makeshift ring but Rocky and Gun wear the same clothes that they fought in during that scene.
If only theyd make a new Rocky game but extend it to Rocky 6 and make a more dynamic fighting scheme with better graphics, I could die happy!
