Fly like a butterfly, sting like a bee!

User Rating: 7.8 | Rocky: Legends PS2
Firstly don't compare this to the EA game Fight Night 2005 because thats based on real life fighting whereas rocky is just a really good movie based on fiction. If you dont agree then either you're not into those kind of movies (which is cool with me) or you need to get shot and I'm saying that as nice as I can.

One thing I really like about this is its got all the boxers from the movie (obviously) but saying that each boxer is different. For e.g. rocky himself loves taking hits like in the movie every *** his opponent throws who ever it is, he just takes it and he gets knocked out loads too but he gets up after every one. In the game its about 2 seconds depending on how fast you're jabbing the X button. It takes something like 5-6 KOs to actually keep him on the ground! And then theres Appollo, the russian dude and some others. They all have their own abilities and attitudes in the game as they have in the film which gives them their uniqness. Appollo's quick on his feet, the russian guy is just pure brute force and so on.

The graphics on this is amazing too. Once you beat a guy up constantly you'll start seeing a lot of bruizes on his face depending on how or where you hit him. The best part is the super combinations you can pull of. If your opponent is dazed then you can capitalize by throwing a super punch (tap R1 and then a punch) or 3 depending on something else which I can't be bothered to explain. If your super punch connects and its KOs your opponent, he'll ( or she if you've unlocked the russian dude's wife ;)) fall in slow motion for a sweeter victory. You can save your best KOs too.

Story mode is good. You start of week but while you fight you train and build up your abilities and you finish of fighting rocky or appollo depending who you are.

Basically I'm a fan of boxing and rocky so I'm going to give this a good rating, but you might not be into the same tastes as me so don't take my word for it.
