I like this game. It's a good game. Pretty frustrating, but it's good.

Not counting the one on PlayStation, this is the only good Rocket Power game out there.

Okay, so the game doesn't follow a story from any of the episodes. In fact, this is the first game I noticed, that is based from a TV show, to be creative enough to have it's own story.

The story is: It's summer, and the Rocket Crew is ready to surf some waves. But all the sand and water has gone missing. A suspicious businessman, who is really a robot called Golem is the one who's behind it. You have to go around in sewers, town, skate arenas and all kinds of places, racing, fighting tons of different robots and collecting coins.

The gameplay varies.Your basic attack is a hockey stick that has infinite ammo of pucks. You can upgrade by collecting power ups that you get from destroying robots. You can do many other things, like: Use skateboards, roller blades, water motor-bike things, although, I really would have like to be able to surf. That's the one thing you can't do. You can also go around and hit random people with your hockey pucks. But all they do is flinch.

Your enemies are basically nothing more than robots. Even the bosses. You have big robots, small robots, ninja robots, robots with hats and flying robots. I also need to point out that you can find Tak a lot along the way. I'm guessing Nickelodeon was advertising Tak and the Power of Juju at the time. But you can find posters of him on the walls, you can find him standing on a mountain, or hiding in a tunnel. But he runs away as soon as you go near him. This made me wonder if, at the end of the game, Tak would show up and be like "Yeah, guys! We did it!".

The graphics aren't bad to say the least. It has some pretty good visuals that bring out the look of the TV show.

The music is a bit repetitive. A lot of the same themes are used in many parts of the game. Once you've heard one, you've heard them all. I was actually surprised that you never once hear the Rocket Power theme.

There are a few things you can unlock. Like a two episodes of Rocket Power and a few Two-Player modes. There are 9 playable characters in the game and you start out with 4. Each unlockable character creates its own move set from any of the 4 default characters. They also don't have any voice acting.

The humor in this game is not really "Through the roof", but it touches the roof. It has some really funny moments. It has some good voice acting too. It's like you're actually PLAYING the cartoon. Also, some rather questionable things can be said by the Rocket Crew, such as "Time to get some!"

You can find a lot of Rocket Power characters in the game. Mostly just the important ones. You can speak with Officer Shirley, Raymundo, Tito, Lars, Eddie Prince of the Netherworld, and a couple others. I was just surprised that Mr. and Mrs. Dullard weren't in the game. I think the story could have been funnier with them in it.

You can also switch characters almost any time in the game (except when there's a mission that is specifically for a certain character). You get to choose from Sam, Reggie, Twister or Otto.

The missions vary from racing for a prize, to shooting targets in a shooting gallery, to collecting silver coins, to taking pictures of Golem's sanctuary (yeah, I'm gonna call it that) as proof to give to officer Shirley, to just jumping over disappearing platforms, or water.

The game can be difficult and frustrating a lot of times, and most of the time, my sister and I would get some progress in the game and then, we would get stuck. And it was always the most simplest and stupid thing to get to the next part of the game. I'm not kidding, the game actually HIDES ladders behind tall rocks.

Overall, it's a good game. Frowned upon by most, just because it was made for children, but if you like strategy-adventure-action games, then I think you should give this game a try.
