A promising idea for a game. Manage a band, book shows, record albums. It's fun for awhile, but it quickly loses steam. Early in the game, you start out as a garage band. You have to scrape by, playing local gigs. Finally, you'll save up enough to buy songs, and record an album. You can name the album, and even customize the cover. After a few years though, you're band levels off. You'll reach sort of a glass ceiling, where you really just start repeating everything. Also, the game has some game killing bugs. It's sad because I'd really like to like this game. It is a new twist to the tycoon genre. I really hope they can improve the formula, and come out with a good Rock Tour 2. As for now, it's not worth the money (Twenty-bucks!?!). Pass on this game. At least until you can buy for under $10.
