OK. I have been playing rhythm games since about 2007, right when GH3 came out and have gotten every game by red octane or harmonix. So I know a good quality game when I see one. Rock Revolution, I'm sorry to say, isn't one. First off, ALL of the song are covers, while GH:WT and RB2 have mostly masters. That automatically degrades the quality. Next is the 2D highway. The 2D-ness of the game makes it incredibly awkward to play on. After that is the drum kit. The "salad bar" is incredibly hard to get used to. Especially when you've played Rock Band or GH:WT. The thing has 6 pads and the pedal. And might I say, it all looks very crowded all on the fret highway. Honestly, Konami, what happened? Are you saying that you can't make 2 incredibly good game series? Look at DDR. That game was a hit! I still play it this day! You're giving people the wrong impression about yourselves. Anyways, compared to games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero, Rock Revolution doesn't stand a chance.
