There is not much to say on Rock Band Unplugged, except for the fact that it's one of the best rhythm games on the PSP.

User Rating: 9.5 | Rock Band Unplugged PSP
Rock Band excelled on consoles, and continues to rival Guitar Hero to this day. Many like myself, never thought a transition could be made from console to hand held for Rock Band, but it looks like Harmonix has done the impossible.Rock Band Unplugged,or Unplugged as I will be nick naming it for this review, retains every single graphical aspect from its console counterpart. The character models still retain the rough and blocky looking rocker looks. The game looks great for the PSP,but the frame rate can drop every now and then in the in-game menus, none the less,Unplugged keeps a solid presentation going.

Unplugged doesn't give you the massive library of songs that its console counter-part gives, but it still has a very good amount of sound tracks for you to rock out to.The tracks range from Bon Jovi's 80's Hit,Livin' on a Prayer, all the way to The Jackson 5's,ABC.The different genres of music range all the way from different styles of Pop & Rock, and way more to out-of-this-world genres for me to describe in this review. The game just sounds fantastic.

Rock Band Unplugged is a rhythm game where you hit scrolling notes to keep to the beat of the music. Now this is where the game really blew me away though. Its controls.Instead of using the good ol' guitar were all use to playing with on Rock Band on consoles to hit the scrolling notes, its completely different on the PSP.Instead, the face buttons are used for this.It works completely well, and feels very natural the first time you play using this control set up.I digress.Fans of the create your own Rocker idea from the original Rock Band, rejoice!Unplugged now gives you the option of creating an entire band! The customization options allow you to change the over all appearance of your band. The "Tour Mode" basically lives up to its name in the fact that its like being on tour with your own band as well. The whole game plays with incredible
ease.

Final Verdict:To put it blunt and simple, any avid fan of the rhythm game genre, who also owns a PSP,owes it to themselves to pick this up right away.Rock Band Unplugged is an extremely fun game in which I also recommend to any Pop & Rock fans.
