If you enjoyed any previous Rock band title, you will feel right at home with Rock Band 3. Real instruments add fun
My First music game was Guitar Hero Legends of Rock, but I soon converted to the Rock Band series and never looked back. Rock Band 3 is the perfect example of why it's my favorite music game brand. The presentation is revamped with better lighting and laser shows while you play, but the overhaul wasn't too drastic so you should feel right at home if you've played other Rock Bands. The song selection is extremely diverse ( even tho I'm not a fan of 50% of it) so you'll always have change of pace with every setlist you play. The career mode is now called "Road Challenge" and new ingame challenges make you do more than just rock out with your favorite instrument. it's friendly enough for my fiance to play, but challenging enough to keep me coming back. Overall, Rock Band 3 is highly recommended for anyone who isn't burned out on the music genre.
