Riviera: the promised land was released on GBA but now some how it got it on the PSP and it plays great. the story of riviera is up to youto stop the retroviewtion. you play as a guy named Ein angel but no wings, he was ordered by the hedton to release the seal of evil, but on his journy he came across a fair who sealed Ein memory and set for a quest to save riviera.

like other GPG's this is a turn base and plays different from others beacuse the weapon you find are limtied so you have to be careful the weapon you pick and every battle can ONLY hold 4 items. you have 5 members of you part each of them have thier own weapon some can share and other have different skill. To level up however you need to find weapon learn to expoince them to level up. since the RPG is different you don't walk around you just press up down left rightby the directional bottom. there are ememies a lot of them. but they only apper at surten place after killing them they won't appear, so how do you level up? you just go to the practice in the select botton on your PSP to level up. you will spend half of your time in the pratice, once finish you might just find another new weapon and have to pratice them agian. this game might take you 20 or more hours to complete after completing this there are also a extra chapter to play making this replay value a little intersting. oh yeah you can choose the voice acting in English or Japanese.

the gameplay plays great on the PSP as well as the GBA but the grafics are showing its age is the same as the GBA but the cutsence are good.the sound is supb. a lot of differnce sound and sound effects.if your a RPG fan this is the game to play or looking for a new gameplay of RPG this is the game for you. If you already played it on the GBA then there no piont going at it unless you want to play the extra chapter if so i think you should went it. other wise you shouldn't play it.
