just another generic rpg, you think? no way, man. Riviera is amazing and if you like RPG's, theres a good chance you'll love this. this is a japanese game translated well by Atlus. exellent art work, too. in the game you control a "grim angel" who is sent to destroy the land of riviera. that when it all goes wrong. over the course of the story, you meet other party members, and fight bosses, like a normal RPG. but in riviera, its not "oh, i got 10 xp, no i lvl up" its "skill up" that happens when you use a new weapon a number of times, and your stats go up. dont worry though, weapons are plentiful ^^
there also an extremely useful practise mode to train, and a sorta dating sim incorparated in w\hich changes your ending.
i strongly urge you to buy this game. what? your still here?! GO!
