River City Ransom is the beat-'em-up genre's Luigi (of Mario Bros. fame): it's the one game that's often neglected, while other games have taken centre stage and have been hailed as being some of the greatest brawlers of all time. But where's the love for RCR, the one brawler that's still one-of-a-kind in this day and age? Sure, some sites like GameSpot recognize its greatness, and that's super, but what about YOU, the gamer? How is it that you let RCR go unnoticed? Luckily, a GBA remake is on the way, so all of you will get a chance to experience the excellence of RCR. Soon, you will discover why I hold this game in such high regard, and soon, you will be wondering why there haven't been more games like it since the game was released 14 years ago.
