You can't do much with a video game based on dice driven board games. i.e. Monopoly, Sorry. I do however feel Risk is quite fun. When playing in classic mode, it plays just like the board game. Deploy your troops, roll the dice, battle a foe, take over a territory, draw a card. So, kudos to that. That's what I stick with. The Factions side definitely has a cartoon aspect. Heck, you can even be a cat. I think that's what it was when my daughter was playing. Nothing wrong with that either if that's what you like. So overall it's nice game for us lazy people who don't want to mess with moving all your troops around and dealing with the cards. The game takes care of it for you. On a side note, a three person classic game takes about 2 hours or so. So it's a nice solid little game and worth the 800 points. I mean, why not for only $10. Can't beat it. Take the Risk.
