Action-packed new trailer for Rift!
This trailer kind of lack direction. They want to gank the dude for watever reason but he has an amulet that does watever and then there's a green bird flying into the flames from the sky...??? Also, when you fire an arrow at someone, usually you aim for the head or some vital point and it should pierce and hurt really bad, you don't use post-it quality glue arrow to root your enemy to a tree for a few seconds.
um so what about an arena component? WoWs BGs go cross server to. Tell me you have some kind of arena?? thats where all the real competition is. I'm not saying this game wont be good but you need to have some kind of arena to compete with WoW.
Yeah I think I'll actually give this a shot, looks interesting. I think the game is going to be a little to un-polished for 2011 though...
"ANCESTORS' SOULS YOUR STRENGTH IS MINE!!!"....*proceeds to getting his derrier handed to him*....I guess his ancestors were the French.
I've played the beta...it has potential. But THE QUESTING! I wish MMOs would get out of this constant questing obsession that WoW has plagued the franchise with. Questing in MMOs use to feel rewarding and sometimes epic. Often taking days to finish depending on the difficulty and length....Now quests just feel like a chore and are painful to do over and over.
Been playing the beta of this game. It's really good in most ways and is suprisingly polished for a beta. The game basically takes all the good elements of EQ2, Warhammer, DAoC, and WoW, combines and improves them, much like WoW did of its predecessors. I'm looking forward to its release.
