Avoid
I'll start with the positives. The game does run smoothly and can look very slick at points. Also, i was impressed by the drifting aspect of the game, be it slightly unbeleviable. I was also impressed by the multiplayer.
However, i feel the negatives outweigh the positives largely.
The gameplay is innovative, but short lived. A few races and i was back to playing my other games.
The whole package just seems too sterile and dull, from the mundane menus to the 'nothing special' in-game graphics.
I also found this game an unnecesary sequel. It was an duplicate of RR6.
And the music... retro, electro-hip pop.... or something like that. I was not a fan.
To conclude, this package failed to impress me as an opening PS3 title. However, thats my opinion and the game has obviously been viewed differently by fans.
