Patronising.
To be honest this game is useless. Its patronising and i'm not impressed. Yes i know its 1995. But going round a corner at 200mph isn't fun. It makes it feel very easy and shallow. This is one of the reasons I bought a ps2. Because the only good ps1 game was london racer. Its average in gameplay and quite impressive for the time the graphics. Its not too good. But it can be alright. Seeming you can get it for about 50 pence its alright. Its frustrating how patronising it is when losing and winning. Like YOU LOST. Its very irritating and frustrating. Try the newest ridge racers. It made it better. So its very fun. Especially Ridge racer 8 on ps3, Its not the greatest thing on ps1. It has no really good story mode. Its entertaining for about 30 mins. Gran turismo 1 was great..3 years after this. So Ridge racer 4 was good. And still on ps1. I recommend 4 or later.
