When you think of a video game, you think of pixels on a screen, moving as you move the controls. How bland. How dull. Right before I picked up Rez, I was getting bored with video games. I thought this was just going to be yet another SHMUP, except with one or two 3D enhancements... I was a stupid, stupid little gamer. The game introduces a revolutionary concept; combining the senses of sight, sound, and touch to create an almost synchronization with the game. You lose yourself in it, especially in a dark room with a bright screen, and a good sound system. The way it works is that whenever you shoot an enemy, it creates a tune for the "song" playing in the background, and sends a rumble to the rumble pack. It's awesome. If you're a gamer, and artist, a musician, or just a burnout, you have to play this game. Now. I'm serious this time. Go buy it, download it, whatever. PLAY IT. Don't worry. I'll wait..................................................... You still haven't played it yet, have you? Anyway, Rez is a unique experience that hasn't yet been re-acheived.
