When people talk about video games as an "art-form," Rez is an outstandin example.
And when I got home and popped this little masterpeice into my PS2, I was hooked. I played for several days straight, or shall I say, several nights straight. Absorbing everything this game was. Often times, I felt as though something was missing, some substance. Substance as in gameplay or otherwise, I wasn't sure. This shooter/music-generator game is the kind of thing that comes from your deepest slumbering dream to the height of your imagination. In the words of the only Tommy Chong:
"Wow, man, that's far out."
It's only a shame that this has become an elusive title due to it's almost cult popularity. I seemed to have lost it recently. I can only hope for a sequel on a newer console, perhaps the 360.
