If music is the weapon, why am I throwing CD's at people and not playing music at them?

I've played some bad games in my time, and this one is definitely in the thick of it. If it wasn't for the fact that you are throwing CD's at your enemies, and there is no real violence, it might have been O.K. But no, this game is as tame as a dead house cat. How can I get into this game? I'd rather play Bible Adventures than play Revolution X. (in fact, I have played Bible Adventures more than this game)
The game starts off with some cliche evil organization abducting Aerosmith, and for some strange reason, you have to infiltrate the evil organization and rescue them. This is almost as bad a plot as Shaq-Fu, but at least this is within the realm of possibility. You run around with some CD shooting weapon, and shoot the bad guys. If they are shooting me with .9mm FMJ's, why on earth am I shooting them with compact disks? I have come up with a few theories, but they have yet to be proven.
Theory #1: You are throwing Aerosmith CD's at them, and the very act of touching/being touched by an Aerosmith CD transforms them into regular (relevant to this game of course) people who do not hate Aerosmith and their flunkies.
Theory #2: The enemies are so confused by having a CD thrown at them that they fall over in shock, and subsequently die of a sudden massive drop in blood pressure.
Theory #3: (This is the most sane one, relevantly of course) Your gun is designed after a regular clip fed semi-automatic, but flatter. The clip is the size of a 50 CD tube, and the CD's, when fed into the chamber, begin to spin at a significantly high speed. The firing mechanism is designed to mimic a CD player, a chainsaw, and a bolt caster. The CD spinners are mounted on a chain that it set around a track. There is a high powered magnet or high powered magnetic pulse that shoots forward at close to the speed of sound and casts the spinning CD's at the enemies and they pass right through them and shatter into sub-atomic dust upon impact with any solid object with a density greater than that of bone; e.g. brick, cement, etc…
None of these theories have been proven, and I doubt that they ever will be. It is up to you to decide which sounds best to you.
The game play is what you would expect from a rail shooter. There is nothing spectacular about it, and I find it very boring. It's all dark, and full of clones. You think they could have put a little more money into the game play graphics and not the cut scenes. I guess it's supposed to be a big interactive music video. I don't like it.
I never got to far in the game, so I can't talk very much about the stages, but the first few are ridiculous. One has you shooting people in windows on the side of a building, and another has you in a room or something. I couldn't pay attention because I was flabbergasted at the fact that music literally is the weapon.
In conclusion, the game is playable, but I can't play it. It's so incredibly stupid that I'm amazed that some people actually like this game. They must have cold Farina for brains.
