Dark Arms Review

Dark Arms is a neat little RPG with gothic overtones.

Dark Arms is a neat little RPG with gothic overtones that allows the main character to grow and evolve three different weapons, each with unique powers and uses. By finding seeds and other elements to mix them with, you can create giant claws, body-sized pistols, and other formidable weapons. Depending on what you spend your experience points on will determine what kind of weapon you get. The graphics are viewed from an overhead perspective, and the enemies you meet increase in difficulty, which will make you glad you powered your weapons up. The story, which seems like it will be epic at first, actually goes by rather quick once you've gotten the hang up upgrading your armament. Interaction is limited to walking around and talking to villagers until one of them gives you a useful hint. Even so, it's a worthy excursion that will keep gamers occupied until you've beaten the game with all the different weapons you can make. If it's possible to borrow a friend's when he's done, you might want to try that instead, as renting one of these games is unlikely.
