I'm a first-person shooter player all the way, baby, and Return To Castle Wolfenstein is one of the best, keeping good company with all the Doom games, Duke Nukem, Shadow Warrior, Medal of Honor Series, Thief, etc. I haven't played anything more recent than RTCW/GOTY, so I've gotta find the latest entry. Suffice it to say, it has very few problems, it's easy to navigate, there aren't too many weapons to keep track of, the player's movements aren't too hard to negotiate, and the game is fairly linear. I particularly enjoyed fighting the Uber Soldats, and the big boss. For first-person action, it's so much fun that I've played and replayed it probably ten times now anyway.
